I recently watched a video of a guy replacing the gears and motors on one of those mirrors for the power fold and extend, and all I can say is Rube Goldberg would be proud of Ford. You're braver than me for tearing into those things, but I suppose you looked at the price of a new one, which I understand is in the $1500 range.
Very helpful video, thanks for sharing! The defrost connectors on the glass are not polarity sensitive so you can connect either wire to either position
I like em! During the day while driving my 22 F350 Tremor, I drive with my parking lights on, it dims the DRLs, and everything else is amber including my clearance/cab lights and mirrors. I think it looks sharp!
I have your 250s twin , under 10k miles, and a F,,g Dodge Ram with those overextended mirror took out my driver side mirror. Luckily no body damage, other than a 1" scratch on the door and one on the window, but I'm not repainting the door for that.
From South Africa you and me both.... reversed my discovery ll into my driveway gate post and buggered up my L side rear bumper... we drive on the right side Grrrrrrrr
Nice job, working on side mirrors is a pain in the butt. I like the sequential markers, now you have to get them for the front a rear to match LOL 😅 Keep up the good work 👍

That stinks, sorry to hear that
Nice job 👍, but I'm not prying/removing/replacing stuff. I'll take it to the dealership.

Time to overland your wife’s SUV. Build that thing up!!
😂😂😂
No way I’d feel comfortable prying off those mirrors!
👍🏻
I would be so nervous taking things apart on that brand new truck. You are braver than I am sir
👍🏻
Good setup Thumbs up 👍
👍🏻👍🏻
ive seen cars that didnt have that many bolts holding the fenders
😂😂
I'm the first one to watch your video cool.
👍🏻👍🏻
Looks easy enough. Thanks for sharing.

They look nice 👍🏼
👍🏻👍🏻
Those lights are cool! 😳👍🇺🇸
👍🏻👍🏻
They look really good. I like the sequential pattern. The neighbor that your driveway is beside has the greenest grass. They’re dominating you. LOL
lol. I like to keep my yard shorter than those crazy neighbors
😎👍🏻👍🏻
