Putting in that little piece of spline to hold up the screen as you start is a great tip. Previously i'd used masking tape. Your technique is much easier and doesn't waste so much tape. Well explained video. You don't know how frustrated i was in the past because i didn't understand the difference between "flat spline" and the other rounded spline. Thank you for making this video. Time to fix my screen now.

Good close-up shows flat edge of spline facing pool. Slightly curved edge faces away from pool, towards worker.

Never saw someone intentionally damage it- but alright. Went through Hurricane Ian, insurance is scrambling down here not to pay unless you meet deductible. This is 1 year old & we spent thousands on the screen front & back of the house. Someone's trampoline came crashing into the house damaging screen area. & minor dent in door. Grateful it missed the window by a foot! Trying to get everything back to normal so we are doing lots ourselves. Thanks for this video, helps a whole lot. God Bless You.

Many Thank you's for this video!!
Now on to the PVC fence that was damaged in several places due to the wind of Ian. Taking one step at a time.

I'm facing my first attempt to replace the screen. You make it look easy and I feel confident I can handle it thanks to you. Only thing I don't have is the pick and will try small blade screwdriver and pliers before going out and buying a pick. Down here in Florida I get a 10% discount on everything at Lowes.
Only thing I won't try being an old guy is replacing the screen over the pool. I don't know how I could safely get on top of it without falling.

What you call the "round side" is not round, it is the side with a radius. The radius is actually the radius of curvature for a diameter or a circular sphere.
