- Hey hens! In this video I put myself through actual mental pain to try and make a plausible and good looking floorplan by simply connecting the dots. But naturally it wasn't simple.

The speed of which she changes her mind is astounding to me. She went from "I hate this house" to "this is the best thing I've ever made in the sims" back to "I f*cking hate this" within the span of 10 seconds

I think this is the best build you’ve ever done, it really pushed boundaries and kept you on edge with different challenges in each room. It turned out really good and was a pleasure to watch! Love the hair by the way!

The way that I heard 2 lines of Lord of the Dance and proceeded to sing the entire rest of the song XD I've not been in school nearly 15 years, it's so ingrained (our assemblies were always morning though)

It all came together in the end! Except well for the floorplan... having the only bathroom in the Nancy Wheeler inspired bedroom haha. Still, this is such a pretty build for something so totally random.

okay but the note at 3:59 is so relatable bc I had to buy special cotton-based Apple Watch bands bc I was allergic to the normal one and it made my wrist break out in rash ❤

I was baptised catholic and not really religious anymore but according to my mum ‘Lord of the Dance’ was my Nan’s favourite hymn and I find it so strange that even though I never met her hearing it reminds me of her and let’s me miss her in my own way-so I at least have something to thank hymns for :)

The CONVERSATION PIT, good LORD that strikes a chord in my heart.
LOVED singing religious choral music in choir. Singing with other people is so joyful already and religious choral music is arranged to sound very grand and impactful so that it makes you feel spiritual and such.

'Lord of the Dance' fucking SLAPS I actually have a whole playlist called 'Banger Hymns' because sometimes you do just have to blast them (my other fave is 'I the Lord of Sea and Sky (Here I am Lord)'
I don't know which fitbit you've got but I had a fitbit sense and beside from being soo far off in the heart rate measurement it also made my skin red and so warm and itchy.
After years of owning fitbit charge, and then the lovely fitbit ionic, the new watch (sense) was such a huge letdown that I decided to switch brand. And after 1 year with my Garmin venu 2, I can honestly say that I love it. 👌🏻😍

the bit about school assemblies reminded me that my middle school (years 3, 4, 5, 6) had us singing where is the love? because it'd just come out and they were like 'yeah this is christian enough.' had it on the ol' projector. everyone half asleep until then because morning assemblies.

This is a challenge that exists! They usually use 1 tile of wall, and you can find ones to do on the gallery, Syd Mac does them fairly often. But this is such a creative way of doing it! Love the build 😊

The fit bit strap gives me a rash too I changed to a fabric one rather than silicone not had a problem with that. Apparently it's a big thing loads of people are allergic to the straps 🤣
I just got a new Fitbit last week and immediately got a rash dnd thought I was doomed. Funny is comes up here as well 😂
You’re supposed to wash the bands before wearing them and periodically after. Average dish soap or rubbing alcohol works for me.
Why do I LOVE this house??
In Australia we have assembly where we sing but it was during period 3 and 4 (so like around 11-12:30 and then lunch)

We had assembly once a week (Wednesday). We weren't even a CoE so but we sang hymns. Now I work in a CoE school and we have assembly 3x a week. My fave hymn is colours of day.

I had no idea British schools had assemblies everyday in the afternoon to sing. American schools do that in the mornings but it’s just a bunch of half asleep kids trying to chat with their friends or secretly scarf down their leftover breakfast.

There's also another version of the avocado rug that's actually one of the swatches of that Get Famous rug, I believe it's the zebra swatch. You could've used that in that "in between zone" between the kitchen and the talking pit, but in the end you did a good job matching the swatch of the other avocado rug😊❤
I learned my new fitbit, in order to utilize the magnetic charging port, has nickel in it. So I have to switch wrists every day, shower with it off, and sleep with it off sometimes. I keep hydrocortisone to use on occasion. That has all helped with my allergy.

Lord of the Dance was always a favorite of mine, too. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a hymn, but Down in the River is nice too (even though it wasn't a regular part of my particular religious upbringing). There's a handful of others that still randomly get in my head (even if I haven't been religious since middle school), but those are the ones that stick out.
This build is amazing and Jesse is right, Lord of the dance is an unironic bop.

The contact dermatitis! Been there with a Fitbit (rubber strap) and had to stop wearing it for a couple weeks until the wrist healed, my solution I’ve found is to take it off for a couple of days every 2 weeks so the skin can breath and recover from the fact it’s being rubbed against 24/7 by the strap, having to charge the Fitbit is a good excuse to take it off and leave it off for a couple days
I always remember my assembly being in the morning, not in the afternoon before going home. As for favourite hymn? I don't have one, I personally prefer to not engage in religion or religious songs/etc.. but you do you bestie. That bathroom though, I live for it. Love a good ol' British carpeted bathroom.
