- Anne she still models so need hair she and others can work with when she has a photo-shoot. Her hair was long but she feels aged by that so she asker me to give het a bob, this works mostly but for her fine beautiful gray silver hair it’s the best. I think she is a very beautiful woman. I definitely liked her hair before she got it cut and styled she could’ve done 1 million things with it.

Like the original better. This looks a mess and stiff and gooey with all the products. Looks hard to fix. All that wirk and looks like bed head. Original made you look younger and carefree.
Not only does it look messy, but who has the time to do this every day, and the expense is too much for most of us.
It's supposed to look messy! Also the messy look is much easier to style than the real perfect style when nothing is out of place and the hair looks perfect and stiff.

He didn’t have a clue. His choice for her was not good and he didn’t consider what a hassle it would be for her to style. He left her looking like a mess! She’s a lovely lady too bad her stylist was not good!

Not everyone will agree...thats a lot of styling...needed a basic bob..straight & with side swept bangs...it looks a mess. I expected it to be better cut & style.

I LOVE this guy & he's done some great cuts but this one & the one I saw before it are just a real mess!No structure or style.
I'm glad that's not me sitting in that chair with that terrible haircut ,it was a mess. It looked better longer.
I think she would look better with a smooth bob. And it would be easier to take care of it. This style of bob looks messy.

I am a stylist and don't like hairspray...I dod not mind the cut but I would have to wash the spray out.
I’m glad we live in an era when women can make a decision based on what they like, not on their age. I’m an older woman and wear my hair long. This cut is attractive on her, but I prefer hair I can style up or down, curly or straight. This seems limited.

Im 77, and set my hair with about 10 big pincurls. No heat no round brushing no extra chemicals but mild shampoo. The current " beachy" styles look half done and messy. I wear my hair up most of the time and people compliment me all the time

Why in the world do you back comb the whole head it looks messy, disheveled, and she will not do that home every day. A bob is great for her, the hairdo is not.
I am sure my comment won't be favorable...but IMO she would be better off with a pixie, she has a small pretty face...Her hair is too limp and thin for this length...I don't think she can maintain this style...Maybe a body perm would help with this bob...other than this she is adorable.

Heat processing on thin hair is very drying. He should have cut piecy layers and it would have looked thicker and more stylish. I hav e thinning hair and my stylist cuts into the layers vertical ally not blunt. cut.
I've worn my hair in bobs off and on since my early 20s, so 40 years! I knew she was in trouble just watching the cut. Then when he started with the curling brush and moved on to the curling iron and had to keep going over and over the same areas, I knew exactly what she was going to get. A terrible cut that never styles right or hangs properly and just needs to be fixed by someone else. No matter how she tries to style that, it will end up with parts of sticking out straight or, even worse, curling outward rather than under or hanging straight (depending on what she's trying to do) and the front hanging awkwardly at a length that's not long enough and too long, all at the same time. Like I said, I've had bobs off and in (mostly on) for 40 years because they just fit my face shape best so I know exactly how that will behave.
The product he used to prevent yellowing of her greys was also terrible. It should remove the yellow without leaving the hair with a very distinct purple tinge. Unfortunately, that's just what she got - purple hair.

I'm sorry, but that looked terrible. I had a feeling from the beginning it wasn't going to turn out well and I was right. Fortunately, she should be able to find a stylist to fix this for her.

I am 76 and keep my hair cut into a stylish bob. My stylist would never send me out of his salon looking like this. This sweet lady looks unkept. In my opinion, her extremely fine hair will fall flat by the time that she walks out of the door. Often, short looks better with fine hair. I love her cut, and he did a good job on everything, but her comb out.
It just looks too messy.
I'm 77 years and also have a med Bob.....but mine looks neat and lovely. I curl it and p>ut one side going back by my ear and other side fluffy and I do it fast, myself and o get many good compliments. I can ever band it back and attach a (curly girl by Paula Young hairpiece.) One of my favorites. They have many beautiful colors to match your hair.

The cut should have been in a shorter bob cut with layers, no hairspray. Theo did not condition her before making the haircut. The total bob haircut shown looked very messy.

This is not a Bob-a bob is shorter, and giving her a style that requires expert blow dry and precision with a curling iron is not what a 70 year old is looking for. I am disappointed. I thought the bob would be chin length and perky. She is a beautiful model.

You could have done more with the length you had. What you got is going to require alot of maintenance to get that look.

It's not going to last. I have fine hair like hers and product disappears very quickly. It is going to look like cottonwood balls blowing in the wind. Only answer to hair like this is shorter layers in the back especially, and more smooth style as all that crunching, lifting, fluffing is not going to hold.

I wished he would have just styled her long hair. It would have framed her face nicely. Now she has to go home not knowing how to style her hair and then she’ll just pull it back like the old style.

Hairdressers often treat one's hair like a wig. It is as if they completely forget that you have to go home & style yourself. They also don't take your lifestyle into consideration, often creating a very complicated style for someone who likes to wash, blow and go. AND they don't cut it the way you wanted it.
What this guy did is just a mess and nowhere near what she asked for.

I totally agree. A blunt cut was all she needed. He's taking way too long. Snip here, snip there, it's all in pieces. My hairdresser does the most perfect blunt in under 5 minutes, and you can still get a ponytail out of it. That's what you call freedom hair.

Based on the comments, you misunderstood her request. I understand the Dutch. She wanted something very modern and not too short since she needs to be able to do different styles as a model. Extra fine hair needs more care in the cutting to fall smoothly.

I'll never understand why stylists hide away from using curlers and hair dryers, but instead use hot irons and blow dryers. Is it because they're too lazy to wait for drying time before the final combout? It's as if they want you out of the way after they grab the money. I'm 73 and worked in salons in the 60's where curlers were the norm. Remember all of the 60's Models in the James Bond movies, etc. they used curlers. They didn't have a rush job done to them. Curlers give a beautiful bounce and fullness and can last a few days without touch-ups. To much money is being lost to stylists who use your hair as a playtime in art class. Smarten up ladies (young and older). You're being fooled and taken advantage of for years now.
