Never ever go to a dealership to get your vehicle fixed unless it's still under warranty. Find a good mechanic and the labor cost will be so much less.✌
I'm in Upstate NY, the Rust Belt from HELL. 2012 F150 FX4 SuperCrew Limited. Getting ready to do a full frame cleaning, wire brushing, rust converting, and paint. Then the entire undercarriage, new rockers, cab corners, possibly a new bed, and a complete paint job. With 164k on the clock. It's less expensive to do basically a body rebuild, and keep running it than heading South to find a rust free one. Or worse, buy a new one. My vehicles get salt abused. Not only here in NY, but also on the North Carolina beaches. Next one will be aluminum. Love your channel Brother!
Sorry about your truck man. Definitely just part of it sometimes. Enjoyed your scooter story a lot. I've got plenty of similar stories myself. Always cool to look back at what you went through to get to where you are now. Keep it up, Q!
Hey Q, i have a 2015 3.5 platinum 6 inch lifted on 35s almost about to hit 160k, Only thing I had to change recently was the throttle body but changed it out myself for $120, other than that my truck has been one of the best trucks I’ve had. Sorry to hear you’ve had issues with yours
Bro your coaching story resinates with me deeply. Being a lifetime football (collegiate+) is a difficult transition back into an everyday job. Bless you Q!
I have a 2014 F-150 FTX and hadn't spent that much in pairs the 7 years I had it and it's 116k miles. That's tough... I love my truck! It's paid for and I'm getting it wrapped for my birthday and couldn't think of getting rid of him.
If I was you I’d get ready for them exhaust manifolds, bought my 16’ lariat with the 3.5 EB back in July, 85k miles, started hearing a squeel noise and come to find out another common problem, exhaust manifolds get hot and warp, breaks off the rear studs, done it myself but I’ll never do it again, but while I was at it went with the CR Performance manifolds, 3” hi flow downpipes, 4” mbrp exhaust, intake, turbo inlet tubes, turbo adapters, tune, and throttle body spacer! Done everything myself and spent well over 5k in parts but she will walk a 5.0 all day!
You hit the nail on the head bro. You either paying maintenance or a car note. And car notes are higher than a giraffe's ass right now so you saving money. That $2k repair is only 2 months payments with today's new truck prices. I was super blessed to pay my 21 F150 off at the end of 21. I would love to build a new truck, but at these outrageous prices I'm just going to drive mine and fix it when it breaks. I spend that bread on my wife's ride now, we just had a kid and needed to get something bigger than her CR-V. Just got her a CPO Yukon Denali. I'm not spending $100k on a new vehicle on principle I'm sorry. Maybe one day but it ain't today. TL;DR. I'm here for the long-term eco boost ownership videos. Lol! Keep grinding bro.
Man, that’s one thing preventing me from jumping on a new one. These prices and interest rate on it right now. If they do come now maybe I will MoveOn. I may go v8 man not going to lie lol. Definitely awesome get you paid off your 21 already bro that’s dope ! Congrats on the way with the new wheels to always love the Yukon Dinali‘s
@@KickinItWithQ the new refreshed Sierra Denali Ultimate is fire bro!! The truck would look so nasty on 24s and 35s. Imo tho, the eco boost and 10 speed is more fun to drive than the 6.2. Even with 6" on my F150, that power train is superior to the 6.2/10 speed in our Yukon. Good luck hunting, I'm excited to see what you come up with next.
I had a fl50 platinum. Most luxurious truck I’ve had but it stayed in the shop whether it be repairs or factory recalls. It is a work beast though all our company trucks are fords
That just happened to mine 3 weeks ago! I had to fight my extended warranty company because they don’t cover gaskets, but when you mention lawyer things change! Here in cali it’s a 2300$ fix glad my extended warranty came through
2014 F150 EcoBoost full bolt-ons… Intercooler, throttle body, exhaust, DownPipe etc. just like you saying… and your other well informed sources… preventative maintenance is the key. I recently spent $2200 on mine… but it was all fluids, belts, hoses, thermostat, water pump, and valve gaskets. Pay now… at your convenience… or later… after getting towed off the side of a road. Great job growing the channel!!!
Man, I need to go into the bolt business. lol, I heard the Ecoboost engines have a laundry list of issues. But I have a 5.0 f150 and I didn't know this when I bought it, but they have a typewriter that sounds idling and makes it sound like you're going to throw your lifters out of the truck. Ford said it's normal, all of my mechanics have checked it and they all say it's normal and not to worry. Maybe sometime I'll upload a video of the noise I have and many 5.0 owners have.
I asked the same question back when I had to replace trans on 2015 F150 (shudder issue) as to whether keep it or buy new one. I should had sold it. Had to change passengers side turbo and drivers side turbo coolant/oil lines. Had to replace other coolant hoses and tank. Now working to replace vacuum pump and valve & intake gaskets also another well known issue. Also, throttle bodies have to be change every 20K to 40K miles, which I also paid $1K a year ago to change. After paying off my truck, I spent an additional $10K in maint and repairs. 2015 f150s are a money pit and is best to sell them
Q I worked at Ford for a year. It’s a common issue. The other issues I saw with the 3.5 is vacuum pumps and phasers. All vehicles have their problems just life. Bought my 21 f350 with 7.3L month went by got a misfire. Plug and wire later it’s good. Keep enjoying Red man.
I sadly just got rid of mine. I had a very similar setup to yours but had the V8 2019. Mine has had a oil consumption issue which is a known issue and Ford played dumb like they don’t know anything about it. They wanted me to drop it off for 3-4 months to look at it. I took it to every ford dealer within a reasonable distance. Even showed them the service bulletin about it. Traded it in just as the warranty was expiring.
@@KickinItWithQ yeah man it was really disheartening. I loved my truck. Except the gas mileage lol. They wouldn’t put me on the list and call me or anything. Just said I had to drop it off and they’ll get to it when they get to it. Estimated 3-4 months lol . And no guarantees to even fix it

That's a very good-looking truck! I got a 23 Tremor this year because Toyota dropped the V-8 and I'm selling my Tundra Rock Warrior to the company because it has been so reliable. The rake is a little extreme on the Tremor, but I'm more concerned with off-road performance than looks. I may level it, but I'm more hoping that Ford got the issues with the 5.0 fixed in the last gen. I am giving them another chance after over a decade, so it is up to them if they can retain me as a customer. I'm going to be talking to them about a possible supercharger install (and level). Peace, Love!!
I heard they sell a 12k super charger package for the coyote direct from ford. Don’t think I’d mess with aftermarket parts there’s a channel that did one on here ended up needing to replace the engine.
Yeah, because how they bill you by the book.. I called a local mechanic even though I had already done the work myself just to see how much they would charge me to change my rotors on a 2020 Durango. Keep in mind it took me 20 minutes per side on the ground in my driveway. They told me the book told them two hours of time for the job. That meant $250 in labor for something that took me under an hour in my driveway.
Bro my old F150 3.5 Eco Beast just turned 257k and I've only replaced the driver side turbo (leaking) and normal maintenance. I gave it to my 16 yr old last yr and he's still going strong. Knock on wood! BTW that scooter was catching hell trying to run 50mph with you on it lol man I had one for 2 months so I know. Big guy syndrome bro 😂. Don't get rid of Red, he just needs some help here and there. Oh and I bought my 2012 F150 with 33k back in 2014. Dang I'm making this long but I almost traded my F350 dually for the new Raptor but I just lifted it with 37s on 22s and I love it but it was close.
Man red testing my patience 😂 but I can’t keep dealing with issues because of turbos man. If I get a new truck def v8s oooo I’d take the Dually too over Raptor but tough choice
@@KickinItWithQ we kind of already done that. But man you got a bad you know truck. Getting my ram there. Give updates where your gonna be really want to meet you.
Had a 2012 ecoboost and ford bought it back own a ram after and hated the cylinder deactivation ram to Nissan for fuel economy and pure v8 and upgraded interior over tundra. And never looked back 40k later
I feel your pain. I had a $10,000 year when my lifted 2014 5.0 with 120k miles at the time. Replacing 37" Nittos $2,300, Rebuilding the rear diff after pinion bearing blew $2,250, new drive shaft and transfer case rebuild $3,500, AC compressor $900, Full service for all fluids $600. It sucked...
I love the look of my 2022 STX front end. I think they look great is they are not all chromed out. I’m not a fan of chrome. Mine looks like the first truck you commented on. I definitely went with the 5.0. Not sure I’m up on turbo maintenance. When they work they are great. When you have issues they are costly. Hopefully you got it straightened out for a while.
I like my 2021 f150 wish it had the blue cruise. Been fixing up and building my 75 chevy k20 and when it is done will have to make a choice on which one to keep or sell.
You played for the Ragin Cajuns? I'm in Lafayette. My pops got a 2014 F-150 4x4 screw ecoboost, I'm still stuck in my 2004 FX4 screw, having spent a bloody fortune keeping that one on the road. I keep telling my pops to watch out, the repairs are coming, but his still runs good don't leak anything and is quiet, at 80K miles or so.
Hopefully he has better luck than me and Darren tons of other people who said they never get any issues from the eco-boost. Yep I played at UL from O5 to 2010.
Ford has long had coolant-related issues with the Ecoboost. The coolant pipe on some have issues as well and it is just as expensive to repair. Then the 3.5 Eco in the Taurus SHO/Explorer Sport have internal water pumps...and yeah...$$!And yes, prepare for the cam phaser/tensioner rattle at cold start down the line. But you may have the Holy Grail truck and it not come up since you're at 90K miles. Most have them have issues at 20-40K miles, some in as little as 5K.
Hey I got a 2015 F150 and my heat works and don’t work when I put it just on the vent it works but if I push where it comes on the defrost or the floor it stop working and I just want to know if you we’re having the same problem it works fine if I just keep it coming out the vents only thanks
I got a 08 ford 150 fx4 package its my first pick up truck got to do some work on exhaust and maybe re place the cluster but hope it last 3 to four years
Honestly if u look at the numbers newer trucks break quicker As long as u have the money to continue to put a large amount of money into you should be fine .
I’ve got the exact same truck as you Q. 6 inch lift with 35’s. It has been my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. 115k miles so far. I’m sure your glad you got her fixed. It’s always going to be something after you hit 100k miles. Hopefully, you don’t have any more major headaches.
@@KickinItWithQexactly. I had all the bells and whistles on my lifted 15 f150. Sold it when the used car market was high and literally got all my money back. Crazy but it was time to let her go.
I have a 2017 special edition sport , ruby red with a 3.5 twin turbo, Fully loaded. minus sunroof Next step up on any option is Plat, 2017 3.5 was a updated motor, I paid $55,000, The same truck is now $80,000, I took a chance on the 10 speed, I make sure to change the fluids for sure, But I can cruise 80 mph and stay under 2000 rpms,
Dang bubba. Power wagon for me with 37 inch on strock rims and off road all the time. and have never taken it in for a service. Ford quality isnt there. The reason ford is the best saling, is becuase the owners HAVE TO buy another truck every other year.
I have a 2015 F150 lariat super crew FX four I love it I got the 5.0 coyote engine. I love Fords although I think they’re hard to work on my alternator is very low in the engine bay which means if I go into water it’s going to be submerged, but I think they change that like your video
My eco also had the coolant leak from the turbos it was leaking on both sides, it was also leaking oil from the vacuum pump and the vaulve covers at the end it came out to 3,300 dollars but I still like the truck and I am not going to sell it cause of that. That happened at 166,000 miles
@@KickinItWithQ yeah man that truck i use that truck for everything and I put about 15-20k miles a year. I am currently debating on a tune either 5stat or mpt
I just watched your video I really enjoyed it. It’s good 2c down 2 earth good common folk. I am waving that hand @ U from Southern California imperial valley . Thanks again
Similar issues. Our 04 Ranger was leaking coolant super bad. Was a bad water pump. New one leaked immediately in heir garage and needed replaced again! Then they hooked up our ac up wrong! Took from Friday to today 1000 bucks
Ha... Q, I knew it. U had the same darn thing I did. Once I saw that video u did a while back, turbo coolant connector. Pain in the butt I know. I happen to take it a step further and replaced the turbo as well. Since I plan to keep my red girl. Fingers crossed the other side don't go.
Transmission cooler lines on the 6R80 are infamous for going bad. This can eventually cause your transmission to overheat without you knowing and bye bye transmission.
Facts, I don’t like the front looks of the front grills on new F-150. But then again I go for looks and style and we forget what a truck is originally for hauling. Lol
😅😅😅😅 90,000 is getting old, getting up there😅😅😅😅 My 09 Ram i been having since new has 210,000 miles and still going strong. 90,000 is nothing. Thats just breaking in. If u sell it, the next owner will get the full benefit of trouble free. Thanks for fixing all the bugs
Hey Q … I just found your channel. What year is your truck, I have a 2020. Can you tell me if you changed your headlights if so do you like them and what are they. Thanks buddy , Howard
Hey man, glad you found the channel. My truck is a 2015. And yes I did change the headlights. I have Morimoto headlights. They have two options. I think one is called like the hybrid model is like half the price of the full LED model. I have the more expensive one for my year.
As frustrating as it is you are still better off fixing what you have as opposed to spending $50K or more on a new truck. I'm just talking financially. Used and new prices are off the charts and dealers are still tacking on markups over MSRP on some new vehicles. If you really must get a new truck try to wait until the prices come back down. They will have to come down with the higher interest rates now. Wait them out.
Mannnn sorry you had to go through the turbo leak. That was the 1st and only thing that happened to mine while I had my extended warranty. Hopefully you never have to replace your alternator because that is $771 just for the part and it’s underneath the turbos all the way at the bottom. Total nightmare bro!
I do not like the front ends on f150 or super duties. Can take or leave bed steps. Would like to see factory options for lifts without the tremor package since it isn’t available on crew cab with the long bed.
Oh so another thing that will eventually go.. the exhaust manifolds tend to warp. My drivers side was done back when I fixed the turbo, and red is in the shop this week cause the passenger side warped on me. So I should be done with known problems. The cam phasers were updated before I bought it..
I had a 2019 F-350 Dually that started leaking oil at 15,670 miles. Traded it in and will never own a Ford Truck again. Sorry to see you are having issues with your truck.
The only reason its not a recall yet is cuz it hasnt killed anyone. Its usually only the major safety issues or catastrophic engine failures that they issue recalls
Wow. Just came across your channel. Ford should have a recall on that. I would save all repair bills. You never know if a class action suit may come in the future then you can possibly get reimbursed. Besides, these vehicles cost alot of money. Ford should be covering this stuff.
1 1/2 years ago I bought a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 ecoboost. I bought extended warranty for it. 5 year 100,000km extended warranty. I have had to use it 3 times already. This will be the last ecoboost vehicle I buy.
Don't get rid of Red BRO !! I have a 2017 on some nitto 35x12.5x20 and the 5.0 on my f150 and just turned 225000 miles on her and she still runs great !

Just to let you know that I just bought a2014 f 150 supercab XLT ECO ruby red just like yours 90,000 miles. Spent a week under it laying on cardboard using POR 15 used a paintbrush did the whole underside of the truck. I'm in PA. Sorry about your truck.😎👊🐢🌽🌲🇺🇸🌎.
On my 3.5 ecoboost I had my cam phasers replaced at 40k, at 70k and then at 90k and it was catastrophic they lasted only 17k because they did not used the updated phasers so at 107k they replaced my engine and turbos..luckily I have a 120k warranty
Bought a used 2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer with the 4.6L V8. Most of my spark plugs were damaged and broken in two. Why did Ford NOT replace these plugs under recall? It was left to the owner to have these replaced at the dealership for almost the same price. I think it was like $2,300. I bought the kit to remove the seized electrode, but I just traded my truck in. Probably didn't even own it for a year..
Mine is in the shop now. Leaf spring inserts and front wheel bearings. Thank goddess for the extended warranty. Do you not have a extended warranty????
Nope I never buy extended warranty. Owning a Ecoboost now..definitely need it. However, another guy commented and said that they don’t consider gaskets under warranty so he had to fight to get it done.
After spending over 4k on a vehicle in repairs before 90 thousand miles id definitely be thinking that maybe the f-150 isn't the truck for me. I'd start looking at a Ram or Silverado. I drive a Ram, haven't spent 1 penny in repairs other than normal maintenance. Just saying..... great video!!

What was the bill for the drivers turbo?
You mentioned throttle body I have the same problem with my dodge what did you do to fix it?
Replaced it
@@KickinItWithQ we kind of already done that.
Nice! Glad you found a truck you love! That’s what it’s all about
Ive battled these problems on two 2016 f-150s... tuned out to be the cap for the overflow reservoir!
Dang lol! mines actually was leak to turbo
Dang man! That does suck! Hopefully she’s all good to go for awhile.
I was told by a few mechanics to change the oil at 50%, That helps to save the chain and keeps the oil ports inside the motor clean ,
Thanks for sharing that info!
That’s the perfect way to sum it up bro! I appreciate you watching
I like my 2021 f150 wish it had the blue cruise. Been fixing up and building my 75 chevy k20 and when it is done will have to make a choice on which one to keep or sell.
Tough choice for sure
There is now advertizing for financing service repairs in the customer waiting areas of dealerships. First time I saw that I almost fainted!
😂 anyway for them to get extra % smh 🤦🏽♂️
This is why people buy warranties
Brother your truck looks tight! Love the color and lift on it.
Thanks bro! I appreciate that! 🤝🏾
Oh hell naw! You gotta keep that truck
Your a hard worker 👍 yeah the new front ends look to car like .
Thanks bro! Yeaa man something not right about them hopefully they refresh it
I totally agree on the new ones, the grill is trash but that interior is ❤
Love that interior! Curious if they are going to do a refresh on it as it’s not very popular
Don’t give up on Red it’s paid off. You see the prices of new trucks ,not worth it .
She not paid off yet. Almost though yes prices are crazy!
@@KickinItWithQ still, whatever you pay, you’ll never get close to that payment not to mention all the money spent on to make it look like this .
You are right about that
Ford has long had coolant-related issues with the Ecoboost.
Geeez that’s crazy man! Don’t make ‘em like they use too
They don’t call them Stealerships for nothing.
Weigh the insane price of new Anything and maybe repairs not so bad….
Hey I got a 2015 F150 and my heat works and don’t work when I put it just on the vent it works but if I push where it comes on the defrost or the floor it stop working and I just want to know if you we’re having the same problem it works fine if I just keep it coming out the vents only thanks
Nah I wasn’t experiencing that. Mine wasn’t blowing heat at all
All ok thanks
Crazy all those problems your having at 90k I have 96k on my 2015 and haven’t had a problem at all.
Dang bro, you lucky man. Hopefully all of mine are behind me. Lol.
@@KickinItWithQ just wondering but do you think the tune shortened your longevity?
@@DariusClaxton umm idk..it’s possible but idk how to tell that
$17 bolt?? I hope it was chrome with gold flakes. Unbelievable how they think this is okay.
😂 ikr!!
Traded my 2017 ecoboost year 1/2 ago for a 5.0 coyote to avoid all the ecoboost problems
I definitely think my next truck will be v8 can’t do turbo maintenance
I got a 08 ford 150 fx4 package its my first pick up truck got to do some work on exhaust and maybe re place the cluster but hope it last 3 to four years
Congrats bro! Take it one thing at a time
I’d never take any of my vehicles to a dealership for non-warranty work.
They over charge and their techs are under skilled.
Honestly if u look at the numbers newer trucks break quicker As long as u have the money to continue to put a large amount of money into you should be fine .
My 2016 F165 has 91k miles and has no leaks. I had to replace a coolant sensor @ 69k miles. I fixed it myself for $20.
Nice! Hopefully my troubled days behind me
I’ve got the exact same truck as you Q. 6 inch lift with 35’s. It has been my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. 115k miles so far. I’m sure your glad you got her fixed. It’s always going to be something after you hit 100k miles. Hopefully, you don’t have any more major headaches.
Yea man one more headache and might be time to move on
@@KickinItWithQexactly. I had all the bells and whistles on my lifted 15 f150. Sold it when the used car market was high and literally got all my money back. Crazy but it was time to let her go.
Damn i got the 2.7L EB, 90,000 miles and so far so good, i hope i dont start having issues like this but i did buy an extended warranty.
Hopefully don’t either and hopefully that warranty got you covered if it does come down to it
I have a 2017 special edition sport , ruby red with a 3.5 twin turbo, Fully loaded. minus sunroof Next step up on any option is Plat, 2017 3.5 was a updated motor, I paid $55,000, The same truck is now $80,000, I took a chance on the 10 speed, I make sure to change the fluids for sure, But I can cruise 80 mph and stay under 2000 rpms,
Nice man! Those ten speeds are fast
Dang bubba. Power wagon for me with 37 inch on strock rims and off road all the time. and have never taken it in for a service. Ford quality isnt there. The reason ford is the best saling, is becuase the owners HAVE TO buy another truck every other year.
Thats a beautiful ride bro...
Thanks man! I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Gotta get that 5.0 v8 baby!
Man the v8 making more sense now
V8 > V6
Real trucks are V8’s
Agree with you on the new fords look!! I have a 2018 Black Widow F150, Love it so far, around 40k on it so far.
Nice!
It’s all good man it comes with what we enjoy unfortunately. I’ll be getting me a lifted truck soon I appreciate the videos for sure. 👊🏾👊🏾💯💯
Yea it does definitely think 5.0 for my next truck no time for turbos going out lol
i have a 2015 plat thanks to your channel and i’m in love bro
Thanks bro! Glad you enjoy the content
Yup that’s why I did both of mine on my own got a 12 ecoboost did it in a few hours
Good stuff bro!
That new F350 has so much chrome! I like the new F150s but mainly the new LED headlight ones. The halogen headlights ones look off.
I agree bro!
I had the Same exact situation! Mine was a seal on the line going to the passenger side turbo!
yea ot sucks. I just hope it doesn’t happen to my driver side next.
Nice truck! What year is your truck?
It’s a 2015
I have a 2015 F150 lariat super crew FX four I love it I got the 5.0 coyote engine. I love Fords although I think they’re hard to work on my alternator is very low in the engine bay which means if I go into water it’s going to be submerged, but I think they change that like your video
They definitely don’t make it easy. I appreciate you watching!
My eco also had the coolant leak from the turbos it was leaking on both sides, it was also leaking oil from the vacuum pump and the vaulve covers at the end it came out to 3,300 dollars but I still like the truck and I am not going to sell it cause of that. That happened at 166,000 miles
Man 166 you definitely getting your moneys worth
@@KickinItWithQ yeah man that truck i use that truck for everything and I put about 15-20k miles a year. I am currently debating on a tune either 5stat or mpt
I just watched your video I really enjoyed it. It’s good 2c down 2 earth good common folk. I am waving that hand @ U from Southern California imperial valley . Thanks again
Thanks bro I really appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed your contact and definitely thanks for watching the video
What camera are you using?
Gopro and some footage was shot on my iPhone. Most of the footage was
Shot with GoPro.
I gotta 19 f150 Lariat 5.0 with 52k on it and i love it, i try to maintain it the best way i can, i love it
The 18-20 where my favorite years especially looks wise
Similar issues. Our 04 Ranger was leaking coolant super bad. Was a bad water pump. New one leaked immediately in heir garage and needed replaced again! Then they hooked up our ac up wrong! Took from Friday to today 1000 bucks
Dang..: sorry to hear that bro!
Ha... Q, I knew it. U had the same darn thing I did. Once I saw that video u did a while back, turbo coolant connector.
Pain in the butt I know. I happen to take it a step further and replaced the turbo as well. Since I plan to keep my red girl. Fingers crossed the other side don't go.
If the other side goes man. I’m done with here switching to v8 😂
Transmission cooler lines on the 6R80 are infamous for going bad. This can eventually cause your transmission to overheat without you knowing and bye bye transmission.
Wow!
Will a 26x14 on 35’s fit on 7 inch lift
Yeah it’ll fit it might rub some
what was your symptoms on the throttle body issue?
The truck would basically going to limp mode. My Lifted F150 Keeps Going into Limp Mode
ua-cam.com/video/Xe7kMUIMMSo/v-deo.html
Facts, I don’t like the front looks of the front grills on new F-150. But then again I go for looks and style and we forget what a truck is originally for hauling. Lol
😂 yea we want them to look good now too
😅😅😅😅 90,000 is getting old, getting up there😅😅😅😅
My 09 Ram i been having since new has 210,000 miles and still going strong.
Thanks buddy ,
Howard
Hey man, glad you found the channel. My truck is a 2015. And yes I did change the headlights. I have Morimoto headlights. They have two options. I think one is called like the hybrid model is like half the price of the full LED model. I have the more expensive one for my year.
Had my ‘23 Raptor 37 for about a month now and it’s a monster. It’s the perfect compliment to my ‘19 Z06.
Nice cars bro!
Wouldn’t a 2500HD Duramax be the perfect complement to that?!
Yep I saw the feds raised the interest rates again. They’ll definitely have to come down. Need to make sure I’m ready when they do
Mannnn sorry you had to go through the turbo leak. That was the 1st and only thing that happened to mine while I had my extended warranty. Hopefully you never have to replace your alternator because that is $771 just for the part and it’s underneath the turbos all the way at the bottom. Total nightmare bro!
They don’t make it easy do they 🤦🏽♂️ lol
@@KickinItWithQ no sirrrrr!!!!!
I do not like the front ends on f150 or super duties. Can take or leave bed steps. Would like to see factory options for lifts without the tremor package since it isn’t available on crew cab with the long bed.
How much was the suspension setup? That’s the last thing I wanna get, I have a 2015 5.0 f150 platinum.
Umm you looking at 4-5k
Did they do both sides? Or just that passenger side
Just passenger
@@KickinItWithQ man that’s a lot of money for just the passenger side I got both sides done
You got a deal
@@KickinItWithQ a great deal at that. He gave me such a good deal because me and my father do electrical work for him and they are good buddies
Oh so another thing that will eventually go.. the exhaust manifolds tend to warp. My drivers side was done back when I fixed the turbo, and red is in the shop this week cause the passenger side warped on me. So I should be done with known problems. The cam phasers were updated before I bought it..
Dang…. See this too much 😂 v8 sounding better
I had a 2019 F-350 Dually that started leaking oil at 15,670 miles. Traded it in and will never own a Ford Truck again. Sorry to see you are having issues with your truck.
Man that’s crazy and sad…what you end up going with?
The only reason its not a recall yet is cuz it hasnt killed anyone. Its usually only the major safety issues or catastrophic engine failures that they issue recalls
ahhhh good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Wow. Just came across your channel. Ford should have a recall on that. I would save all repair bills. You never know if a class action suit may come in the future then you can possibly get reimbursed.
Besides, these vehicles cost alot of money. Ford should be covering this stuff.
I agree, bro it’s kind of crazy that they don’t. Glad you found the channel and enjoy the content
1 1/2 years ago I bought a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 ecoboost. I bought extended warranty for it. 5 year 100,000km extended warranty. I have had to use it 3 times already. This will be the last ecoboost vehicle I buy.
Sheesh yea these ecoboost are great but costly
How long did it take to repair
Once they actually worked on it like a day lol
Don't get rid of Red BRO !! I have a 2017 on some nitto 35x12.5x20 and the 5.0 on my f150 and just turned 225000 miles on her and she still runs great !
See you got 5.0 man I can only imagine what will happen to my turbos my that time
@@KickinItWithQ you take good care of her so she will last , new trucks are so expensive now !!
Man that’s one thing holding me back 😂 that and rates right now
You waited 1 week for a $2,000.00 kiss!! Nope....You guys can have your mall crawlers. I will survive driving old school trucks and stick the money I save in my pocket. Lol
Just traded my 18 eco boost due to all the problems it was giving me for a 21 Silverado rst 6.2 Honestly, best decision I’m loving the truck.
👎
Congrats man!
Just to let you know that I just bought a2014 f 150 supercab XLT ECO ruby red just like yours 90,000 miles.
Spent a week under it laying on cardboard using POR 15 used a
paintbrush did the whole underside of the
truck. I'm in PA. Sorry about your truck.😎👊🐢🌽🌲🇺🇸🌎.
Nice man congrats ! Showing her a little TLC 👍🏾
I believe there’s a little oil filter on the turbo they should’ve replaced I could be wrong
On my 3.5 ecoboost I had my cam phasers replaced at 40k, at 70k and then at 90k and it was catastrophic they lasted only 17k because they did not used the updated phasers so at 107k they replaced my engine and turbos..luckily I have a 120k warranty
Wow!!!
Wow! man
And it’s a freaking platinum!!
I love the ecoboost for the power and torque but I hate the phasers
That boy Q ia BACK! BACK! BACK!.......... to the dealership for repairs.
😂 🤣 that’s been the theme lately 😂
Bought a used 2006 Explorer Eddie Bauer with the 4.6L V8. Most of my spark plugs were damaged and broken in two. Why did Ford NOT replace these plugs under recall? It was left to the owner to have these replaced at the dealership for almost the same price. I think it was like $2,300. I bought the kit to remove the seized electrode, but I just traded my truck in. Probably didn't even own it for a year..
Dang that’s crazy 🤦🏽♂️
Can you get an adter market warranty on your truck?
That will definitely help with the repair cost due to the aging of it.
Idk about now…maybe might have to check it out
Omg I HAD an EcoBoost, so many issues with the powertrain. EcoBoost is never worth it.
Mannnn one more issue and I maybe done with it...so I feel your pain
