Could someone explain the benefit of this? Why not just print the design directly on the printable HTV? I understand sublimation goes directly into the fabric and that it can only be done on cotton with the extra layer, but I don't see the point of the extra layer if you can just use the printable HTV.
Many people find themselves wanting to do a project and realising that is what they have at home. If you have printable htv and only sublimation printer at home this is what you can do if you don't have inkjet as well :)
@@DesignBundles I'm curious if the original poster was asking if it were possible to know if you'd get the same result by printing straight on to the htv or transfer instead of using sublimation paper. Would the heat activate it the same if you skipped printing on sublimation paper and printed with sublimation ink straight on to the htv? Hope I'm explaining it right. I'm not sure if this is what they were asking, but that's how I understood it because I was wondering the same thing.
Try laser copy paper if you don't have sublimation paper now if its a license plate that is not sublimation then use the printable vinyl but with an inkjet printer
Im new to all this so just trying to get as much information as possible. I have a question What k8nd of Inkjet Printer can you sublimate with & How?? Do you need a certain kind of ink in Printer? N how would it convert?
Can you skip a step and print with sublimation ink directly to white glitter printable HTV? I'm just making square designs so cricket isn't needed. Thank you
Do you have a video on settings for an Epson EcoTank that's only for sublimating? My colors are coming out very dull and not vibrant right from the printer 😒
I actually print on htv heat transfer jet pro soft stretch light from my epson sublimation the colours are so bright and beautiful if does not wash off either.
Hi! Which Printable Vinyl did you use? I am curious I have been testing 3 and all of them have different pros and cons - check out the one I used here ua-cam.com/video/cn89v2DgOZs/v-deo.html . It was Siser DTV, Starcraft and Walmart 😊
Hi Crystal! Please set me straight...somewhere along the way, I've gotten it into my head that you can use an inkjet printer on the printable vinyl & press it onto project. Please can you clean my head on this issue?!?🙏
That is correct but that is the reason she is using the paper in between, so it wont wash out. The other option would be to get printable heat transfer paper (for inkjet or laser printers) and print your design on that and just iron it on. This is an extra step for people who maybe just have sublimation printers.
I sublimate directly on the transfer vinyl and it works well. Did a few wash tests it held up pretty good too
Do you have a video of your process?
You just answered my question. I did the same but wasn’t sure if it would hold up
Awesome thanks I have been wanted to try this 🙌🏼
How
Awesome! Thank you for thi
I love how this turned out. Yes, I would love to see this on a t-shirt and how this holds up in the wash. Thank you for the great idea!
🏈🎉🏈🎉🏈🎉🏈🎉🏈
I did this yesterday. But I printed right on the iron on transfer. Then pressed for 50 seconds at 375.
What brand HTV did you print on?
How do you like the results?

Ok, well why not just print on the vinyl & call it a day?? Like use regular ink -I must be TOTALLY missing something here. 🤷♀️
I would love to see this on a tee. I love how it came out. I’d definitely try it.

👎🏽
It looks like all the ink did not transfer…no?
Awesome video thanks for showing this great idea. I for one would love to know if possible onto a t-shirt and how it holds up if on a t- shirt 👚
Do you think this would work on a tumbler?
Really cute bag and design. I would like to try the T-shirt.
Love it, I’ll surely try this, I’m new to sublimation
Could you do this to put a design on a mouse pad?
Why not print directly onto the inkjet paper? Then no paper will stick.
It was just a test to see if it was possible
What was the final temp you put it on?
Is it possible to print onto matte printable vinyl as a transfer instead of sublimation paper if I'm sublimating onto a license plate?

Thank you for the short information video ❤. Your video just popped up and I'm a new subscriber.
Did you use regular printer ink
Yes to both. I’d love to see any hacks that might work.
I would love to see a tee shirt. Great video!!
We washed it to, it held up
Do you have a video on settings for an Epson EcoTank that's only for sublimating? My colors are coming out very dull and not vibrant right from the printer 😒
The ink will look dull on the paper. When you press it, you should get the true colors as it becomes a gas and binds to the vinyl.
make sure you set your paper type to premium matt finish
I actually print on htv heat transfer jet pro soft stretch light from my epson sublimation the colours are so bright and beautiful if does not wash off either.
Thank you for the recommendation I need to try this out
How long do you press it for and what temp?
I printed directly on the paper and onto a tshirt. Didn't hold up in the wash test, but before that the colors came out really nice.

Did you print with regular ink or sublimation ink?
Can I use this on jet ink
What paper do you use?
I would like to see it on a tee shirt and the. Washed

@@adavis0214 thats correct. You dont need sub ink.

Good morning , is the dollar sale start on Friday 11-26?
So I need sublimation vinyl & printable vinyl for it to work?
I have laser printer, will it work with laser or do i have to get inkjet?
It looks great. I would definitely like to see how it holds in the wash.
can you do this for a 100% cotton black t shirt and hoodie
Hi Daniel! Thank you for watching with us today! We will certainly add this to our list of tutorials!
I would love to see it on a tshirt plz!!
So would it be same for tshirts
thanks
You're welcome!
Can you use the same process for mugs.
Hi Earl! The ink will wash off when using your regular printer on the mug. - Dawn
looks good. I will try.
Wow that’s great thank you
I thought you could only sublimate on polyester not cotton
That is correct but that is the reason she is using the paper in between, so it wont wash out. Why not just iron on?
Not everyone can afford sublimation printer. But if you mean just iron on the picture it wont work on cotton
Calling it printable inkjet vinyl you should say its htv. This wouldnt work with injet printable vinyl.
Yeah I'm confused also.. like I have a regular ink jet & another for sublimation.
Why NOT just print & press - Bam.. done?
Why all the extra work?
