My name is Dana Knoetgen and I am just your typical everyday person working to make a living. In 2018 I met Shane Smith the Lightning Psychic. He explained to me about what this psychic stuff was all about and introduced me to my possible abilities. During these years I have been working on focusing on this rabbit hole. While doing a lot of searching and learning, I have realized my earliest memory of something happening was when I was about 6 yrs. old. In April 2023, I posted my first show on my podcast Light Talk with Dana on UA-cam. Since then, I have had many guests such as Preston Dennett, Paranormal Seekers, Spectral Paranormal, Dan Liss, Sue Walker, Janine Harton, Addie Halkin, Windy Post, Faith Koltak, Mary Gartman and many more! Not only having guests on Light Talk with Dana, but I have also been interviewed by Paul Anthony, Paul Meckes, Shane Smith, Shaun Bennett, and True Ghost Stories. My greatest goal at this point is to grow my subscribers. I am looking for guests and I am open to being a guest to share my stories.
Recently I have taken a class by Kim Nicholls for Oracle Card Reading. So now I am doing this along with the podcast. See below for schedules.

Ben holds a Bachelors Degree in the areas of Medieval, Classical, and Religious studies. Ben’s particular research interests lie in the area of folklore and folk religion in the Classical, Medieval, and Early Modern periods with emphasis in the areas of polytheism, witchcraft/magic/cunningcraft, and folk religion. He is particularly interested in the development of folklore, story and their intersection with modern movements such as NeoPaganism and Witchcraft.
Ben’s published work includes Ancestral Whispers: A Guide to Developing Ancestral Veneration Practices (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2023) and Wise Ones: Legends of Magicians, Witches and Cunningfolk of England and Wales set to be released through Crossed Crow Books in 2025. Ancestral Whispers won the 2024 Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) Gold Medal in the ‘Folk Magic Books’ category.
Ben’s published work focusses on the practical application of spirituality, storytelling, folklore, history, and alternative spirituality and religion.
As part of this research, Ben regularly speaks at conferences and events; and offers classes on a diversity of subjects.
