Man that's a tough one, I was so pumped to see the 32 come back out fully built but putting the HKS 2.8 in the 33 with the full 400R kit will be perfection! Just gotta order another one for the 32 now! Maybe an RB30??

2.8 in the vspec, its only right. Given the 33 is bigger/ heavier/ more of a GT, build it for big power.
They’re actually not really much heavier lmao a 32 is just shy of 3300 and a 33 is just over 3300.... the 34 is the heaviest of the bunch at almost 3500....

Hks 2.8 in the 32 with the car being your shops "catalog car", is the only way

If i was you in the situation Tommy i’d keep the 2.8 for the 32. That car will be absolutely immaculate when it is all restored and that 2.8 belongs in it. The 33 would get a refresh for the season and then next off season the 33 could get a 2.8 and single turbo setup like you talked of doing. To me the 32 is your “track style car” and the 33 is a sick street car. Obviously my opinion.
I say put the 2.8 in the r32. The white car was such a beast when you built it for the first time, it was like the epitome of what a GT-R should be and I think its only right to continue that by giving it that engine

Putting the 2.8 in the 33 just makes a lot of sense. Its a bigger (wheelbase), more comfortable, (slightly) heavier car that is faster around the 'ring. More power will do it more justice. Add the fact that youre putting the 400r bumper on it and it just works. Dont get me wrong the 2.8 in the 32 will make it an absolute weapon, which would be awesome too. But as you said in the video with Hert (I think it was him anyway), r32s are 30+ years old. Carbon fiber, titanium and other fancy materials dont look right in an r32 engine bay, but they work a lot better in r33s IMO
I think the R32 should get the HKS 2.8 considering that was the plan all along but if it’s gonna take it long enough to build it back up again then I don’t see a problem putting the 2.8 you have there right now in the R33. Though you could just build a different RB for the R33.

Damn I’m not against the 2.8 in the 33 but I can’t lie the R32 is more gangster IMO. The 33 is more of a big body cruiser. But either way I’m stocked to see progress on your personal GTRs FINALLY
The r33 is the best one of the 3 hands down.. Have owned all 3 chassis and delt with their interiors.. If you want to test put two 6ft people in, one in the passangers seat and one behind them you should each have about 5-6inches of legroom.. The 32 and 34 will be minus legroom or close to it, they are modern enough to not feel old like the 32 and not so new they feel cheap like the r34 They look sick done nicely. Go on stick the hks engine in!
I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again. The R33 is the most beautiful and underrated out of the 4. It’s always been treated as the step child of GTR’s, the design is peak 90s.

I acutally for once agree with tj. Put thr 28 in the 33 and build a cool highrev rb26 for the r32. Since its already nimble a 26 fits it more then a beefy hks28

I think the 32 already has so many hks parts for it it almost makes sense to do a full hks build for it whereas the 33 could get the nismo theme with the lmgt2s like the 32 was originally supposed to have and get a nismo omori factory engine

Here's my 2 cents, auto garage tbk front bumper, maybe the tbk hood as well, panasport g7 C5C2's, and tune the engine to get a little more power around the 450 range. Take the 32 and put the hks motor in like you had planned. Now it's a period correct 33 and a pure group a styled 32 with an interior lmao
Team 33 look at that interior it's so much nicer than something designed in the late 80s those seats are fire

Your dream has pretty much always been the 400R and that is pretty much impossible to get atm, next best thing fully building out the R33 with everything that you have and are getting with the HKS 2.8.

First drive in my sr20det fully rebuilt and it broke.
Ps. I bought it used and without testing it I paid a mechanic to rebuild it. We transferred it in a Bmw e46 and it broke. Now I'm saving money to rebuild it again, duh.
My mate in Temuka a little town in New Zealand has a stroaker 33 trade 2.8 700+ hp sounds mental is silver my favorite car in my area for sure you wouldn't regret putting it in the 33 as you say they are the better car after all

I am loving this. As a fellow R33 GTR owner that also purchased from Craft Sports, its about time the R33 gets some love. The most underrated and arguably the best GTR ever. You have my vote for the HKS engine to be put in the R33.

Love 33's. That thing is as 90's as a car can get. 32's are nice but they are more of a Canyon warrior compared to the "Grand Touring" abilities of the 33. The 33 is the only R chassis that can be used all around, from a daily to a racecar.

32s are better for performance, 33‘s are better for dailying. Apples and oranges
@@VincentViolence You can daily a Lambo, that does not mean you should. 32's are almost 40 year old cars now, the interiors already come into shambles from occasional use, just imagine if you daily one, plus they are not comfortable cars.
@@halogod0298 33's are way better for performance, while 32's feel wild over 600hp, a 33 will handle like a champ till 1000hp. the chassis is way stronger and more dialed. 32's are better for as I said a canyon warrior with 500hp.
