- My Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 rally car - Everything you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask ...
In this 35 min (!) video I'll show you my latest group 2 classic rally car in detail.
This 210 bhp 2ltr pinto powered animal won't be a garage queen, but will be used in anger. Stay tuned for those onboards!
Let me know what you think and help me out with some language issues in the comments and ... don't forget to like and subscribe
Cheers

"Distributor" was the word you were looking for. 😉 Thanks for the video and hopefully more to come soon! 👍🏽

Beautiful car!!! Enjoy!!!! More videos please, and dont forget your 02.
My full rebuild engine is almost done too.
Targeting 175 HP.
The company that made your Escort Windows and windshield is realy close to my house, my grandparents worked there.
Cheers!!!!! Beautiful car.

Obrigado! Great to hear your 02 is nearing completion and funny to hear your grandparents worked in this small world so I can enjoy their quality. All the windows are still in 1 piece. Cheers
And you watched to whole 34 min video. Wauw!
@@DoctorCarLove yes i did!
Je kent het wel, kind in een snoepwinkel zonder zakgeld.😔
Ik hoop de Escort een in het echt te kunnen zien, moet fantastisch klinken met die Webers
We all know the feeling.

Bonnet British/ hood American.Ignition distributor/ Oil catch can.
Thank you!
DANGEROUSLY THOUGHT SWITCHES OPERATED REAL BOMBS ( FUEL PUMPS INSTEAD) TRICKS OF THE LANGUSGES.👍👍
The Portugeese language raising some eyebrows all over the place. Cheers
Hood = Bonnet
Distributor
Thank you for helping me out. Cheers
@@DoctorCarLove Stunning example - really keen to see her in action :)
Do you have a HTP for the Escort?
Yes!
@@DoctorCarLove Good! May I ask? When was the HTP exhibited? Was it issued by the portuguese or dutch ASN?
@@RallyeRacin9 3 years ago in portugal
@@DoctorCarLove So the HTP is from 2020 - quite "fresh" - and lasts further 7 years.
I asked because the are some parts on the car (Willwoods, 205 block, alloy radiator) I didn't thought are permitted. Hopefully it doesn't depend on the ASN what is permitted or not! As far as I know, if you want to compete with the car under FIA rules, you have to transfer the HTP to the ASN of your country.
You have got yourself a very nice and exciting car!
Only the steering column looks a little bit "adventurous" to me.
@@RallyeRacin9 Ah you noticed the steering column. Well these first 2 years I want to get to know and enjoy the car for some spirited driving around the Eifel hills and Alps. In a later stage I might use the car for competition so that gives me enough time to see if I have to do some changes for the ASN. Cheers
Desembaciador≈demister
bonnet and hood ? lol
Thanks for explaining that haha!
