Although I have been playing since the early 60s and have played this tune countless times in countless gigs, you have done a fantastic job here teaching and showing others how to play. It is definitely a fun tune to play and even making it your own with some distorted lead to it. Keep up the great work!!!
Hi Jon. This is one of my all-time favorite guitar songs. I love your tutorial but it is missing the second rhythm guitar that plays counterpoint to the first guitar part you covered. I have not found a video that EXPLAINS how to play that second guitar part accurately. I would love to see a short second video on how to play that second guitar part as well as some of the iconic riffs in the song. Thanks for posting. Cheers!
I love this. The skills kind of remind me of your lesson on I Will Walk 500 Miles, which I’m working thru. Think I try this one as well to help build my rhythm skills up. Thx for another nice lesson.

You left out the high E and B string hook. It's critical to the song. Otherwise, decent tutorial. This was actually the first song I ever learned to play.
Oops you hadn't quite got the right feel of the intro.your not feelng it and the sound is out.Have a listen to the the original you just hadn't grasped the groove.

Jon you are far and away the best teacher any where
I am always amazed and pleased with your song selections and lessons. Thanks so much.
Hi Jon,
I literally listened to this song yesterday driving home from work.🤔👍
Great lesson Jon! For such a simple riff it takes a little practice to get it tight!

Play the first and second string on the air but play them upwards and mute the sound each time.
@@shadowestreetshuffle Thanks mate. Will try that. Cheers!👍

I really need to know what tuning this is in please
I believe it’s in standard E A D G B E
Hi I struggle whith the tab to get it on . I get mixed up
Marc Bolan pretty much played chords in root position. The G & A chords don't sound right as full bar chords up the neck.

とてもすてきなえんそうでかんどうしました

I like when you don’t count
Love your lessons, but the smiling stare into camera when you're playing is the most awkward thing on the internet, I have to look away.
Harsh!
