This made me a Mike Einziger superfan lol. Never been a big Incubus fan, but after this I'm going to have to go give them another listen. So happy that Kanami and the band are finding recognition from International artists. And I love the song and collab sound. Band-Maid are magicians of mid-tempo rock. Shout out to Miku's lyrics, and backing harmonies and vocal melodies - so beautiful.

Thank you for the upload. Nice sound quality, MISA & Akane’s bass and drums are well pronounced in this recording. I’m really happy with the collaboration with Mike san. I think of it not really as a collaboration but a project with friends. I’m happy for their growth and thankful to Mike san for seeing the unique and greatly talented ladies as his equals.
MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song. Miku and Saiki's lyrics are heartfelt. "I can't look into your eyes." Is Band-Maid a band of fashion-forward, trend-setting Besties? 💞 Thx, Mikey & Band-Maid!
And you've fans out there who want to take this away from the girls, like they were made do this, "Oh Kanami doesn't like this music, she doesn't write like this" Yeah well look how happy and amazing this was. Brilliant song. Thanks for sharing.
I realise it's a joke but he's happily married to violinist Ann Marie Simpson-Einziger with four kids. She's one of Hans Zimmer's regular studio musicians for film scores and has also toured with Steve Vai amongst performing with many other high profile acts.

Got the Steve Vai DVD "Where the wild things are" where Ann Marie is playing with Steve Vai and fellow violinist Alex DePue (who sadly passed away in January 2022). One of my favorite UA-cam videos is Ann Marie Calhoun playing "Phish Fiddle" in front of a fireplace, with her brother accompanying her on guitar. She goes absolutely wild in the second part of the song. An amazing musician! What a small world. Thanks for the information!
I like the Warning. But. The thing is. You could replace the Warnings bassist Ale and drummer Pau with Misa and Akane from Band Maid and play their songs no problem. But their bassist and drummer could not play Band Maid Songs. If you think Pau could play Black Hole at 220bpm you’re high on crack. Same with Ale. Misa has a dozen songs in which she switches from pick to pop n slap back and forth effortlessly in time without her hand leaving the strings. And some where she finger plucks and pop and slap. It’s ok if you like them more. I don’t even need to mention lead guitar with Kanami involved haha. Those are just facts.
