IS AMAZING.. in the morning i look and find some transmission for my traxxas stampede 1WD and now i see your video in my feed and woooowww really??? is a very very cosmic coincidence hahahahaha.. looks really badass that transmission
@@nabahmadi5012 no problem bro although durability is the main thing. They made it more durable in pretty much every way possible. It’s also a 32 pitch which makes for a better gearing option. It’s also a fully sealed diff and comes pre filled with oil too. That’s another thing to be able to tune better to your liking by using different weight oils like for shocks.
Switching to 48p is simple. Using a Team Associated spur meant for a DR10, you just need to slightly bore open the hole with a 13/64 drill bit. You can even do it by hand without a drill.
Nice job brotha... ive been wondering about this transmission for years. Now that I need a new transmission im gonna purchase the Proline Transmission for my Slash 2wd. Does Proline need any new employees?
did one run on 2 s no issue put the 3s on and bottom where the suspension plug both side broke...... 160$ canadian in the garbage... bought last week wow...
Is the sealed differential a bevel gear unit, or does it use straight cut flat gears like the stock transmission? The difference between them is huge when choosing what weight differential fluid to use. I’m hoping this has bevel gears in the diff. They are much stronger and respond better to fluid weight tuning. That said, does the diff use a gasket or all o-rings, and are these available separately for replacement when tuning or rebuilding? Also, thanks for the video, but I would strongly suggest using blue thread lock on the the pinion gear grub screw when installing.
Hi @Dan B. The diff uses bevel internal diff gears. It is sealed with o-ring seals and here is a direct link to the replacements: www.prolineracing.com/search?q=6092-08&search-button=&lang=default We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
The more teeth on a pinion gear the faster it will go. As for the spur gear, the less teeth the spur gear will also increase speed. Keep in mind the higher the gearing the more strain you put on the entire drivetrain and you can expect to break things.
I'm probably just a little slow on the uptake but what is the advantage of this over the stock transmission with steel gears? I run my stock Traxxas transmission really hard with a powerful brushless setup with zero issues.
Hi @TS O'Day, The biggest things over the stock transmission are a race style slipper for superior launch control and a tune-able (oil fill-able) differential to adjust the handling to the current conditions. The other big thing is the aluminum motor mount for improved motor cooling and strength. We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
@@ProLineRacingYT okay thanks for clearing that up guys a lot of people had my same questions about this transmission, keep making the awesome products that you do!
Is this a new plastic or design ? I used this transmission and it flexed so bad that it would chew main gears up. Unless this is an updated plastic or design.
Hi @Mo Hawk, There are a lot of variables. You should setup the slipper so it slips for the first foot or two from take off. This will take trial and error when tuning your slipper clutch. You'll be able to hear when the slipper is slipping and when it's not. We hope this helps answer your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
do you have smaller spur gears for this. Because on the stock trans I run a 50 32p spur and 22 pinion 32p for drag. I use 7000 diff fluid. My car goes straight and does 75+ on 3s
Does it still have that little pin through the input shaft to take the input gear around? I have broken that spring pin a lot of times on the stock transmission
If you are using this in your Slash drag car how do you make the transmission positive traction so both wheels are powered for maximum traction with this gear box transmission?
Hi @slimfatpat, Yes it will. As for durability, you can expect the same if not better quality than HD Transmission. We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
Hi @ShadeTree RC, 4S is definitely pushing the limit. It was designed mainly to handle 2S, but it does have all steel internal gears. The weak point then would be the spur gear and the case. We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
Hi @92 camaro Drag car, A full description is available on the product page👍 www.prolineracing.com/performance-parts/pro-series-32p-transmission.asp Thanks for your interest and support!
Just installed this transmission today. It looks like the octagon slipper plates from Team Associated are compatible. A 48p spur for my DR10 would not slip on but it only looks to be around .005" small. If you drill it out slightly it would work.
Hi @Anthony Pdx, Unfortunately no, this is designed only for Traxxas 2WD chassis'. We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!

What spur gears will fit with this? I love the diff....have no need for 32p. Will associated or Kimbrough fit?
Are team associated slipper plates and spurs interchangeable? Seems like that is what they used for inspiration to design the part.

Will Traxxas metal CVD's fit? The spur cover is so tight to the drive shaft I had to sell my old HD transmission.
