I want the Shockwave x Cardo mesh unit, so I am holding out until it's readily available. Once the riding season comes to a close and the weather turns, I'll be making time to get my review of the helmet out.
Hey Karl, thank you for the kind words! Your spot has been secured in the giveaway since you've commented on my other videos and I only allow 1 entry per user. I am a bit late on getting the winner out, but I will aim to have it published before the end of the month.
Thank you! So far it has been copyright free with no issues on the channel - I think the reason for that is a large majority of Fortnite music is AI generated AFAIK. Appreciate the comment. Ride safe! 😎
Hi! I have an EOX review video on the agenda, but haven’t gotten to it yet. I have a few more motorcycle reviews I want to complete before I settle in for commentary content during the cold season. I will be getting a review out eventually - stay tuned! Thanks for watching.
Hey there! I wanted to revisit your comment and let you know I've released an update on my opinions for the EOX vs the Atlas 4.0 Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/sVC7_955hDY/v-deo.html
Hey Omni Dude 2.0! That is a much narrower helmet! Like it’s flattened sides will make you go faster an extra 12mph! Looking forward to your future review! Isn’t it incredible that most of all of the current motorcycle manufacturers started out doing other fields. Like Alpine Stars was doing snow skiing apparel! I’ve known you for ages & I’ve never had issues with your identity. That’s the magic aspect of your abilities & humour! I do miss shadow man though! Any chance he can make an appearance this summer as Shadow Man 2.0?😎 I’ll have to check out this brand here in Aus for fitment & costs if they’re available. Cheers buddy! Hoping you get a test ride on the GSX-8R sometime soon from Big St. Charles 👌 No shameful plug😎😂😂
Bought it. Tried it on and it ran small. While changing the inserts i saw all the interior padding was unglued. Horrible helmet. Returned it the same day i got it. I really wanted to give it a shot but couldnt get past that.
Hmmmm, when you say "interior padding" if you are referring to the liner, it is not supposed to be glued - that way it can move with your head and conform better for comfort. The cheek pads and headliner are not glued in and are removable with small interior clips in case you need to replace them or remove them for a headset installation. If it's the actual inner foam lining and comprising the interior shell of the helmet, that is a serious problem and I hope you sent an email to their customer support team. Mistakes happen, but that would be detrimental to you if that's the case. They would definitely want to make it right and determine what the root issue is. I'll be doing a short-term review with my experience in the new EOX soon comparing and contrasting it to the Atlas 4.0. I have a few gripes of my own, but nothing to that extent.
hi its been a few months could you do an in depth review on the helmet please? reviews are so mixed lately about sizing and cheek pads and small things like the visor doesn't seal all the way. so tell me Is EOX the next best thing?
Perhaps it is time to get my short term review out. I've been in the saddle with it for a while now and have even gone back-to-back with my Atlas 4.0. I will try to create a review video in the next month. Stay tuned. Thank you for watching.
Hi, just wanted to revisit your comment to mention I have posted a video regarding my thoughts on the EOX and how it stacks up to the Atlas 4.0 Check it out! ua-cam.com/video/sVC7_955hDY/v-deo.html
I really appreciate this video. I have always been curious on the brand but guess I only ever discovered them because of the Atlas 3.0 controversy. I liked the helmet design and the graphics were cool but controversy and UA-camrs blasting the company for what they were promised to get and then what they received were something different. I also appreciate that you didn't pull any punches in the first half of the video explaining the controversies and the possible reasons why. Nicely done man and I am inclined to look deeper into Ruroc as I am a hardcore shoei guy.
Doesn't help people like yammienoob went out of their way to shit on them without ever wearing one. Don't get me wrong, a liner falling off isn't good, but then claiming it's unsafe is some silly crap.
The internet will never cease to amaze me with how people will form opinions based of their favorite tubers telling them something is bad. The 3.0 was hot garbage. The 4.0 was ehhh out the gate, but progressively got better. Ive owned two 4.0s at this point and i like them. I wouldnt ever pay the gucci price tag for them, but that kids is why sales are our friends. Got both of my for around 300 a pop. Just ordered an Eox for $340. Most people who have worn them have said the same as me "ehhh i like mine" and thats all i need.
I personally feel their pricing isn't terrible even before discounts, but I'm all for snagging something at a lower price rather than buying it as soon as it drops just to have it first. The 4.0 was the helmet the 3.0 should have been. The 1.0 and 2.0 (from what I've read, no personal experience) were not awesome helmets. The EOX for me has a few points of contention that make me swap back to my Atlas 4.0 on some days. That said, the 4.0 is not without its faults. Both the Atlas and the EOX have pros and cons both ways, but I feel comfortable giving my experience and point of view with them to say they are quality helmets. Are they perfect? No. Are they the worst? Absolutely not. Thanks for watching and providing insight. Ride safe! 😎
I'm kind of with you on that. I follow a channel called Company Man and he has remained anonymous for 7 years that the channel has been going. There is nothing but a silhouette of himself against a blue background. I'm sure he gets asked all the time if you'll ever reveal himself but he is remained adamant to stay anonymous. He would like to focus to remain on the channel and not him. I would say when we hit the 20,000 mark, have a really sweet giveaway in lieu of revealing himself.
Ruroc sucks. So many issues and problems. Seals that come loose, visors that don't fit right. Ruroc produces overpriced junk. It took them 4 times to get the Atlas right, but they never actually got it right. Now they change the name for the revised model to EOX in hopes that they fake people out again. However, I am seeing people complain about this model already. This brand needs to go away.
The 4.0 is fine. QC issues for sure, but I've owned two and haven't had any of these problems besides a seal coming unglued on a very worn helmet. Besides most of the time they have sales going on. Literally right now there's a sale so the only people paying full price are relatively stupid.
Did you get the new shockwave system? I don’t see any videos comparing the shockwave to the previous version

Spring 2024 Revilla giveaway. Plus you had the best review on the Kawasaki 500 that I’ve seen so far

Did he ever review the helmet, I can't see to find it?

Saved you 12 minutes: Omni Doesn't show his face
Thanks. Didn't watch video.
If you watch the video you’d find out he will when he hits 20k subscribers.
