In this video we classify many different metamorphic rock samples. This video uses the terms foliation, crystalline, schistosity, granoblastic, hornfelsic, equigranular, phaneritic, anhedral, porphyroblasts, contact metamorphism and regional metamorphism. In this video we will classify the following metamorphic rocks: slate, schist and gneiss, granitic gneiss, marble, quartzite, amphibolite, wollastonite, garnet and hornfels.
