I really want to see this now! Thanks for recommending it!
As always a great "drop". I listen to these episodes with pen and paper at hand and have greatly enjoyed your recommendations. Just came across "Letters Live" and think you'd enjoy it if you don't know about it already. What I enjoy best is seeing your great friendship and Anson's laugh! The Well is fascinating although I'm going to have to give "gravity" another listen. Thanks
Very interesting and entertaining episode guys! In order not to spoil the movie, I'll just mention that Native Americans used to steal settlers' children to give to women to replace babies or children who had died. Your final statement had me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair! 😂
I finally watched this film on Vudu. I really liked it. The main message I got from it, though, is that after 40.000 years we have not changed ONE IOTA. We are still killing each other for stupid reasons.
Fantastic, now I want to see a film that isn't showing in our cinemas. And I can't watch the end of the episode here because I'll be spoiled. Well done guys. 😭😆
What a great review! It isn't showing near me but it's available on AppleTV starting tomorrow. The birthday trip sounds AMAZING! Thanks for the laughs.
😅Good episode! 1. I am glad I heard the spoilers from “Out of Darkness” as I am a scary cat and hate gory horror films! I will go see that film. 2. The last two minutes were hilarious! What is wrong with people?🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well, watched what i could, because here in the sticks nobody's showing this film and i may have to wait to stream it, or buy the DVD. But the trailer looks great, and i'm immediately reminded of two other films. Have you all seen Quest for Fire, or The Dead Lands? Granted, neither of them would really fall into the horror genre, but just from the look and sound impressions i gained from the trailer, the creators have. Both are well worth seeing, especially The Dead Lands, which is set in New Zealand and filmed entirely in Maori. Thanks for giving the linguistic info - i'm a sucker for accents and languages, and love hearing where they came from. Good espisode as always!
I’m definitely gonna have to watch this film y’all are talking about!
Watching the movie tonight. Enjoying the podcast up to the spoilers. Thanks for the warning. This movie sounds like something we're really going to enjoy (popcorn at the ready), so thank you for recommending it. Also, the Basque language is such a mystery. Many believe it has ancient Celtic roots, so the movie setting makes sense. See you guys later for the spoiler part of the video. Peace! ✌️😁
Wow, this episode was great! Branan, you’re not wearing nail polish any longer 😊 . Oh my, I loved your discussion about the movie and I absolutely loved the part about the trip to Iceland and the museum. Guys, please keep up the great work, this is getting better and better!
Wow, you make Out Of Darkness sound so good it might be the first horror film I ever see!
Well, there's only one movie theater in my town and they aren't play this movie. I guess I'll just have to watch the spoilers and hope it streams somewhere, someday. I think I would like Iceland. The whole idea of volcanos being a normal event interests me.
Modern humans have trouble understanding that early Homo sapiens were physically identical to modern humans -pre-frontal cortex, language, math, burials, astronomy et al.
hey Branan, I find the thing about neurons and supergroups interesting. I searched online but didn't really find anything about it. where can I find more about it? I find the topic super interesting. 😊
Would it be appropriate to suggest some horror movies that perhaps you haven’t seen? Horror is my absolute favorite.
Sure! Send us your top ten!
