Nina is precious, you are truly blessed by this little girl 💜 I am having success with my belly by walking 1 mile every day ,stopping my eating after 6:00pm, only having 70 percent dark chocolate as my sweet food, and eating healthy from all food groups. I'm 61.
Tony, Tony,Tony... God bless the father of 4 daughters!!!!! Karen, did you ever think that only a few short years ago you would have 7 grandchildren? Life is a series of delicious surprises! You have such a beautiful garden and am happy to see how much you enjoy the fruits of your labor. That dog was cracking me up... we have one who does that every night at 3 o clock in the morning!!!!! Every night!!!!! I think he hears someone either going to or coming home from work at that hour. As for midsection weight.. I have struggled with it since I went through menopause. But thats 20 years ago!!! I am now 73 and still try and hide it, disguise it, cover it... but I am sure I am fooling no one. Oh well... I am happy, healthy and just try and limit carbs and I am trying harder to incorporate walking everyday.

My tips are: Healthy living is not about motivation. It's about discipline. It's about doing what you know you want to do over what you feel like doing. Doing what helps you reach your goals. Also create small, easily attainable goals for yourself and reach them! Walk/jog for 20 minutes 2 times a week. Push yourself in those 20 minutes (without injury or harming yourself). Try to get your heart pumping. Achieve that goal and feel accomplished. After a few months you can increase your workout. Eat salmon with quinoa as a dinner twice a week. Reaching small, easy goals is the key. Also, trying to be healthy for an appearance will discourage you, but realizing what the healthy choices are doing for your heart, arteries, and organs will help you keep it up. You can do this! :)

Karen Iam 71 years young . Walking is what keeps me trim ,active and We love to dance we go often ! Also I eat a very light Breakfast , and lunch is salad always . Supper is a protein , veggie and desert no bread . I have been the same weight for Ever . Also do leg lifts and range of motion exercises every morning and night . I have the same problem with my belly, but I have noticed that eating a late lunch or early dinner as my last meal helps immensely. Also learn what foods makes you bloated, we may develop food sensitivity later in life.!

Congratulations! Such a beautiful baby! I love her name. As far as dieting I signed on to my fitness pal two years ago and I log in everything I eat to keep tract of calories sugar protein and carb I take. I stay between 1300- 1500 calories a day with no pastry pasta chips etc. I have lost 61 pounds since October 2022 and we walk 1.5 miles twice a day. My motivation in smaller clothes and looking nicer at 73 years old. This coming July. Also it is better for my heart . I have atrial fibrillation and the md said the more I can lose the better for my heart. So that’s motivating me for sure. And eating healthy everyday. I love your cottage cheese and yogurt mix as well. It’s a great snack . Keep the ideas coming as well as your great videos! ❤️❤️Baby Girl

I am 63 and have been running since before I became a mom ( my son is 35)
My tricks - get great shoes, cute running gear, a great play list, chew a tiny piece of gum (helps with breathing) and just go out - summer is hardest because of the heat but try to get past the first 7 minutes - running is an anaerobic activity and gives you a boost of "feel good" energy

I have same issue with the belly. At times I’m so uncomfortable. However. I suggest staying away from gluten and unfortunately alcohol 😅. Lol. You will see a difference in 3 days. You will feel so much better .. xoxo. Have fun with baby girl 💞
Hello! I do Weight Watchers. I am 52 and dont do well with very restrictive diets. With WW you can have all food groups and tracking in the app is pretty easy! Congrats on you beautiful granddaughter!

Congratulations on your new granddaughter Nina ! 👶💓 I’m turning 60 also in August ! What works for me is simple. Intermittent fast from 8 pm till 12 pm. And walk ! Aim for 8000 to 10000 steps a day. It get addicting as you watch your steps everyday You’ll feel so much better Karen. You can do this ! ❤

Little girl💕…Karen, congratulations on your new granddaughter. I am going to my last high school graduation today for my granddaughter. She is the last one of 17 grandchildren. I am much older than you but I have always been motivated to exercise. My goal is to go to the gym 2 to 3 times a week. I take a walk outside to a local park that I love a couple times a week. I do intermittent fasting and that has been the key to helping me feel so much better. I pretty much eat anything I want but only 2 meals a day and I always have something for dessert. I actually feel disappointed when I don’t get to the gym or get out for a walk. I am very much a creature of habit and I have to have a routine and stick to it. I hope you find something that works for you.
