Does the hook aligned? If not: in our opinion can it be better without the split ring?

Hi buddy the hook is not aligned which I prefer more better hook up and I stop using assist hook as it is more expensive, I use good quality metal hooks for bottom fishing which is cheaper. All my assist hooks don’t have solid ring coz I don’t tie my assist line into split ring which was you always saw in solid ring. Overall results for me is the same and less expensive rig, cheers.

No way would rely on some fly tying thread and super glue as the sole means of attaching the cord to the hook. Elephants do eat peanuts and I've caught some pretty large fish on micro jigs so I always opt for either a knot around the hook shank or thread the hook through the cord then use the thread and glue to bind down the tag end and add flash. I also would not ever attach the cord directly to a split ring. I'd go directly to the eye on the jig before I did that. I prefer a single solid ring for the line tie and assist hook attachment with a split ring off of that for the jig connection.

Excellent instructional video, thank you. Could you please tell us the tools you are using? Specifically the device that unwinds your red line and the vise that holds the hook. I want to try this but am unsure of the tools needed. Thanks again for the video andd keep up the great work.

here are the tools I used:
Fly tying vise - to hold the hook
Fly tying bobbin holder - to hold the thread and use to wrap the thread to you hook
Fly tying bobbin thread
Flasher - shiny colored fibers that I attach to the hook this help attract fish

Thank you! Going to order a bobbin and some fly tying line. Any recommendations for brands and line sizes? I will be throwing micro jigs 7g-20g. Mainly using jig para slow/micro from shore and kayak.

I cannot say disadvantage sya depende po sa spot. Sakin po kc nag check muna ako kung dapat ako mag treble or hindi, pag mabato hindi advisable sabitin sya. Normally naman ang bite lagi sa ulo kaya ok lng assist hook. Thanks for watching God Bless 😊
