Thanks so much for the reaction!! When we saw you react to Toothless - Grinner, we knew we would enjoy your reaction to Red Light :D Your excitement is absolutely contagious! - If you liked Red Light, we think you will definitely dig our new album once it drops. There is just so much craziness, lots of Korn/Slipknot influence across the board, and topped off with some deathcore sludge, hardcore/beatdown riffs, and tons of uniqueness/versatility, especially with the vocals. Thanks again for this amazing reaction, man
I m a 40 years old, got old with Korn, Slipknot, Mudwayne etc but u top them all. I really enjoyed ur weired stuff. So much of this song took me in the old times but sounds so fresh an crazy. U made an old man very happy. Greets from Germany 🤘
We the sad is probably my favorite song from their EP that or placenta, but the entire EP is fantastic! I can't wait for the full length they're releasing this year
@@TheEternalMoonlight me too, I hope the whole album is reminiscent of early 2000's era nu metal. I grew up around Korn's peak popularity and this band fills that void nicely with a great twist on the sound. They really seem to have fun performing and Justin is so charismatic it's infectious.
@@wrxhex I wasn't aware, I'm not on social media. I'm perfectly ok with that, I really enjoy hardcore and a good chunk of deathcore as well. I've enjoyed everything they've released.
@@aliasfakename2267 Do not worry! The album is heavy, but that early Korn/Slipknot feel is still present across the whole tracklist :D We have a new song called, "Overconfidence" coming out August 21st. If you dig that, you will probably dig the entire album :D
Yeah, I can hear the Korn in this, but I also heard Devin Townsend in some of the parts. Very interesting, indeed. Going to check them out some more aswell. Got to love new music!
Cool Dudes. They toured with our buddies in A Killer's Confession (Waylon Reavis ex Mushroomhead) and we got to see them live. Portnoy's kid is pretty cool as well.
Trust, Justin is one of the most versatile and unique vocalists out there currently, and he has talent and creativity in spades. I think Tallah's new album is going to be on another level.
I heard some Devin Townsend in the vocalist as well. That operatic note in the beginning of the chorus is why seals it. Dope stuff here, I just bought the vinyl.
At first I did get a Korn vibe but as I listened it totally became it's own crazy unique thing. It's just not many people express their psychotic and strange tones vocally over heavy music like Korn does so that's why the initial thought came I think
Since you liked Justin's vocals, you should also check out his solo project Hungry Lights! Justin is amazing. His vocals are insane and especially with Hungry Lights his theatricality really gets through and it's very reminiscent of Devin Townsend and Tool among others.
Definitely check out the rest of their songs. Placenta is one of their heavier songs and probably my second favorite with red light being my favorite but yeah, check more out you won’t be disappointed
The theatrics and their heavy sections remind me a lot of some of The Gloom In The Corner. Misanthropic is definitely worth a listen by them if you haven't already!
Their album "Metriphagy" is coming out on October 2nd, and I literally cannot wait, it is gonna be soooo fuckin good!!! P.S the album is a concept album too, which is even cooler!
No, trust me(and everyone else who loves them) if you like this, you'll like their other songs too. Also Justin has a side project called "Hungry Lights" more on the metal side rather than Nu-Core. But still good.
they sound like Korn, Slipknot and Linkin Park mixed together with heavy core influences, it's amazing, I grew up with Numetal, and they just brought it back and improved it, they are quickly catching up and probably gonna surpass Slipknot as my favorite band lol
The band`s name is pronounced "Tah-Luh", from Justin himself. Check out the Matriphagy`s Concept videos. The mother`s name in the story is the same name as the band.
First listen. Didn’t like. Second listen I framed it as an alternate universe mushroom head Totally loved it then. Lmao. Good stuff but yea you gotta be in the right headspace.
This song out of all of the EP they released does not sound like korn! I think you clearly have been influenced to describe them as that. There are other songs you could listen to that would remind you of korn/linked park/crazy metal shit. Just my opinion. Anyway yes they are great and I think they will do very well as a band.
@@galacticriminalx Thats what I was thinking man. I tried the same thing like you do back there in 2014, and I couldn't do anything because of copyrights... that sucks.

You guys are going to do some big things in the future. I’m sure of it 👍
Y'all rip,pa native. Hope you remember where it's at when you guys BLOW THE FUCK UP!
Y’all are better than anything slipknot and Korn has ever done I’m so not bullshitting
Justin bonitz is one of a kind. Their track "we the sad" is pretty great too

alias fakename They’ve said multiple times that most of the newer stuff on the album is heavier (hardcore/deathcore).

This was super entertaining tallah is one of my favorites your personality through out was fantastic
finally , i waited so long for this reaction.
This is my type of music , it had really cool progy undertone and mixsed whit nu metal !
Gotta love me some Tallah, their EP is sick
Hmm tallah yes very good I haven't heard alot of there stuff I will check it out now thanks for the new discovery.
I used to watch the singers youtube channel all the time. the guy is definitely a character.

That wow at 2:50 was my exact reaction the first time i heard this song from Tallah. Justin has some damn pipes!
Sameee, the whole chorus has the evil villain or a fricking cult feeling that is SOOO sinister and crazyy with the ambience
What do you think about the new mixes or remasters of the songs?
@@saito2582 I'm kind of iffy on the snare on some songs but overall I love it
teh brockly I have the same thoughts with the snare but yeah, with more listens hopefully I get used to it
teh brockly the songs from the ep might have a loud snare because they weren’t re recorded, the stems were remixed to match the sound of the new songs
that Leto Joker hat is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song got me into tallah!!! Now is one of favorite bands
dam son, that was weird as hell. Going to have to listen again.

Tallah is dope.

Is this an updated version of the song? Sounds a lot cleaner, heavier then whatever mix I heard. Still an awesome song.
Yeah they did a new mix for all of the songs that were on their ep
@@ethansims2073 And they rereleased all the videos with updated tracks it seems? Nice. Have not seen a Placenta video yet though with updated track.
mike urinal as of now they’ve only rereleased Red Light and We, the Sad. They also released a new song called the Silo tho.

Shades of Faith no more and protest the hero...
Korn and SOAD had a baby apparently
