Why does lubricant before the blade hits your face, make no sense but afterwards makes sense?
That's like putting cutting fluid your on milling machine bit after you've cut your material o.O

that is how they get people to buy their razors. The Dorco pace 6 is better and so is the Schick Hydro 5 razor. This is from my personal experience of course using all three.

I tried the Dorco Pace 6 and 7, which are the same blades Dollar Shave club rebrands as the Executive I think (not the 7 yet). Found the blade spacing was too close and they clogged and dragged way too much. My 5 week old Hydro 5 still was sharper than them when they were brand new, and the blade spacing let stubble flow through. Wonder where the Gillette fits on that scale?

mach 3 has greater spacing than fusion. Mach 3 is more forgiving in a way that you can shave longer beard but not too long
Fusion has smaller spacing but both great razors.

Wouldn't using shaving cream be better? Why he's not using any?

Look into the Blade Buddy, the world's first disposable razor strop. It sharpens disposable razors to the point where you can use it for months, so long as you sharpen it before use. Only problem is your lube strips will go even quicker.
However I haven't found this to be a problem since I discovered how to achieve the perfect shave, it's really simple. First start by using ice cold water to wet the face, this not only tightens the skin making it harder to knick, but it makes the hair more brittle and easier to cut (though it will do more damage to the blade, but that isn't a problem if you can sharpen it). And lastly forget shaving cream, use coconut oil. Since I've been using coconut oil, lube strips are not remotely nessesary. I have been able to shave against the grain for the smoothest shave without so much as a hint of razor burn. I am convinced it is the smoothest shave there is.

Cj Iscool You sure you are using it right? It has never let me down so far. Granted I run the razor over it at least 50 times (often more), with shaving cream and in the correct direction of course. Perhaps you are not using the required amount of pressure? I make sure to have two fingers on the back of the razor to not only keep it in place, but to apply proper pressure as well.
In any case regardless of whether or not it ends up working out for you, try out the coconut oil. It truly is the ultumate shaving hack.

I will never understand how ppl switch blades so fast, I shave my thick hair a few times a week and my blade lasts me 6 months, also I never use shaving cream because dries and damages the skin over time....I would recommend ppl use an all natural shaving soap with badger hair and your face will come out smooth as silk

If you have facial hair like mine of not shaving for 2 days, trust me: you WILL need shaving cream. The guy did not use shaving cream to prove a point of how sharp the blades are. Gillette's are nothing to laugh at. I remembered using the Gillette Fusion and the damn thing cut in three places the first time I used it.

Truth be told I have used this product and the lube is gone within a half month! I absolutely like the Fusion Proglide and recommend it.

Come on man. Are you serious? Shaving your face dry that's just nonsense. Why would any man still want to shave with things that women shave their legs with?? And to the guy that sharpens disposable plastic garbage WOW you are the man lol. I would like to see more videos like this one keeps me very entertained. Keep up the good work guys.
