Be careful in Los Angeles, don’t sit with maps on your lap and only go to the tourist information if your lost etc. we were robbed in LA, some nice places right enough. Please be careful of your surroundings and that if your kids with all the carryon going on. My advice is buy the apple air tags( put them on your kids clothes everyday) just always watch the people around you. Loved the clothes haul 😍

Gosh Fern from reading the comments from people living in the USA I would be scared taking the kids to LA and Miami. San Diego sounds to be safer.

USA boarders open, I wouldn’t come here at all. Lots of crime. Come to Disney World in Florida. Stay in the Resorts. Go to Orlando to shop. And Disney Springs in Disney nice shopping too. It’s safer security and peace of mind. Talk to someone before you come. America not like it used to be. I’ve been going to Florida for years. Now it scares me me.

Fern, both Miami and LA are great cities to visit but know that they are not what they used to be especially LA. In Miami some places you may want to visit are Coconut Grove, the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Wynwood, Lincoln Road, Miami Design District, South Beach, Miami Beach, Brickell...maybe do the HOP On Hop Off Bus...they stop at a lot of these places. I would do the Hop on Hop Off bus in LA as well...but lots of migrants and homeless people on the streets since the US border has had an open border policy. Be safe and Happy Travels! I'm heading to the UK this summer with a visit to York!😃

I've been in Florida alot; and Mami was my favorite; but be aware about driving and parking.

You have to be smart traveling here in the U.S. America is nothing like Europe. We have no safety net here. L.A. has a huge homeless and street drug problem. The crime rate might shock you. Stay as far away from downtown L.A. as you can. Hollywood is a dump too. Unless you have a reason to stay in L.A. You might consider San Diego instead, it is much nicer. We are 250 million adults with 400 million guns and there is a lot of poverty here. Half of those guns are sitting in people's cars!
I am from Miami, I don't live there now but I am down there with family quite a bit. If you stay on South Beach do not go on the strip late at night, Stay on the roof top bars and restaurants.
Always stay East of I-95, as far East as you can, neighborhoods can get dangerous very quickly. Get medical travel insurance, a quick trip to the E.R. can cost you 10 or 20 grand.
You CAN avoid the worst parts of America but you need to be pro active.

Hello Fern, those lovely floral pattern dresses you showed that you’re not particularly drawn to I am the same way however, they are very pretty and I think you can benefit from them in Miami because it can get very hot and muggy. It’s a bit more of the style there chic casual wear. It’s humid heat and everything clings to you, so having a dress like that is very cooling and refreshing clinging close are very uncomfortable in Florida especially if you go in the summer. I’ve been to Florida twice. Make sure you take the kids to Disney World or Disneyland I loved it. LA is different not so humid hot it’s drier there like France. i’m like you I like micro chromatic dressing. It’s very slimming and it makes you look taller and it’s classy and you are a one class act.😍🤩 those clothes are very flattering on you. Have a great week.💞

As someone who has lived all over the USA, including California and Florida, don't forget the beaches in Cali, i.e., Santa Monica, San Diego, Del Mar, and breathtaking scenery all along the coast highway 101 through Big Sur. While in LA, the Grove, just so much to seet! Miami is nice, but super busy crowded, but if doing the touristy thing, you'll like the Art Deco historic district, Little Havana, South Beach. and the beautiful beaches all along the east coast of Fla. You're going to have a great time! Can't wait!!!

Good afternoon, Did enjoy seeing the new Spring collections.Ryan is a perfect companion, taking an active interest in what you enjoy so much.He loves the way you look ! Your present circumstances do motivate you to flip into Spring mode, for sure.Wow that is definitely an expansive storage unit & considering the volumes of fashion you do possess that is definitely a closet of challenge. It's not surprising to me that you are going on the trip to the US . Spending a good extensive time in Disneyland should never disappoint. I have not been there did Orlando Disney world. Generally speaking you will be stunned at the commercialism offered anywhere in the USA almost. I am certain the children will be delighted! If you were visiting San Francisco I could tell you more. I have only spent a week in LA in Marina del Rey. It's beautiful restaurants in shopping 🛍️ are amazing. I have never been to Miami. A friend of mine visited there in 2020. For sure take in the Miami Zoo. If you have an opportunity to trip down to Key West you would enjoy it. As far as beaches going to South Beach & Miami Beach are stunning & vast.Fisher Island is the havan of the highest per capita incomes in the entire United States.Tom Cruise has his own Island. There are alot of tolls for travelling on Miami's byways. There is lots to see in 'Little Havana'.I just found an ad about a "2 Hours Classic Car Tour of Miami Beach & Little Havana ". That sounds good to me. If you check out that title it will expose the rest of what they talk about. Don't know the pricing but if you're interested surely you will pursue it. That's about all I can think of at this point. I have very few patterns! Like accents of small flowers.I am very fond of khaki & Brown & cream .I have had phases of wearing black stuff.Very fond of most greens, browns, creams& corals . Hope my info assists in some way. I'm guessing some of your fans will have so much more about it for you ❤️. Thanks for the visit. I'm sure you're getting hyped! It will surprise you. There is nothing like being there.

Fern, San Diego on the West coast (amazing hikes on the cliffs at the beach in Cardiff, Historic Balboa Park with museums & World Famous San Diego Zoo, etc..), and Palm Beach on the East coast ( beautiful resort feel city that has amazing shopping and is within driving distance of everything, beach, Disneyworld, etc...), seem much more your jam, especially with kids. If you end up doing LA & Miami instead just expect both to not be as clean or feel as safe, and hopefully you'll have a blast.

The best place to visit would be Southern California as you can go to Disneyland, universal studios, the San Diego zoo the beaches and take a drive up the cost. You just need shorts and shirts and maybe a couple of dresses, very casual dressing as it will be hot. I feel the mango jacket is too small should be oversized. You will die in that unitard in the summer in the US. I would not go to Miami as your first visit. It is more of an adult going out to bars type of place . Not much for the kids to do. I have lived in Florida and California and recommend California as your first visit.

In Miami eat at Joes crab! Of course the Deco hotels are a must to see, also eat Cuban food and coffee. So much in LA, go to Manhattan beach pier for seafood by the ocean. Also plenty to do downtown including Jacks candy, a Costco candy store. Santa Monicahas a mall and outdoor shops and walking distance to beach.

Hi Fern! Love that cute little jacket from Mangos, adorable and nicely made too! You have alot of cute things in your wardrobe! I have never been to Florida, please be vigilant and keep a close watch on your children in America. I think in Kissimmee there is Disney world, something the kids would love, adults too! On another note, California is what they call a Sanctuary state. Thousands of illegal migrants have been placed into the state as they have been in Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Chicago, New York. Again be vigilant. Los Angeles use to be nice but sadly loaded with homeless and drug addicts living on the streets. Many high end stores and eateries have closed their doors as well as pharmacies, Walmarts, Target, Starbucks in many areas due to heavy thefts. In California people can steal up to 900.00 and something dollars worth of anything and are not punished. Large gangs of people go into stores with black garbage bags and simply clear the shelves of whatever they are going for. High end stores have lost billions as criminals in groups carry out huge arm loads of designer clothing and handbags. There are rows and rows of streets in shopping areas where store owners feared for their safety and for employees safety and have been wiped out of product and too drug addicts hanging out in front of their stores doing drugs, with needles everywhere, pooping and peeing on sidewalks and streets. You will see hundreds of For Lease signs on store windows. Beverly Hills, streets with for lease signs on rows of streets. Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach and even down into San Diego...all once beautiful, not so much do to the above. There is a channel I watch...German in Venice and just yesterday takes a bike ride and you will see all those empty stores. I would advise you to type in Google about LA's drug and homeless issues, look on UA-cam to see for yourself. Also California has alot of fast food eateries where employees are being paid 20.00 an hour to work in them...McDonald's, Taco Bell, Carl's Junior, pizza places, Inn and Out Burgers...for once reasonable quick reasonable lunches on the go....everyplace has shot up in prices...in other words passing laws onto the consumer. I saw on the news a person paid just one person...25.00 for a burger, Fries and a coke!!! Anaheim has Disney Land for your family to enjoy. I dislike sounding like a bummer but travel is expensive, your all excited to come here...I live in Southern California and have most of my life by the beach during my younger years...I am a retired senior now and simply shocked and hurt how California has allowed this State to be turned into nearly a third world. Please take the time to investigate on line, and if you do decide to visit LA, keep your children close. They are just precious Fern. Love to each of you and I love your channel, your husband's new channel...he has a good business and the men do good work!! Sandy ❤
