Fat Dog perform Running live for Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 Music at the legendary Maida Vale studios. Listen back to the full session on BBC Sounds: www.bbc.co.uk/...
As said before, the most exciting band of 2024, this song is a total earworm, I cannot get the second half out of my head. Saw these guys last night, Sep 11 2024 at Strip Joint Records in Glasgow, took my 15yo as he is a big fan too, went early to get a bite to eat and Joe and Morgan took the time out before things started to have a chat and a photo with us - totally down to earth and humble guys. Big shout to 6 Music for championing them as I would never have heard of them otherwise, it's been a slow trickle with the singles, each one my new fave, All the Same vies with Running as my favourite. Gotta love this "sanitised" version for the radio, had some trouble trying to explain who Peter Andre is to my son, but I loved the ingenuity! I wish my older son had kept up with his sax playing, kept trying to tell him there's more to the sax than just Baker Street lol, and Morgan just proves this as she kills it on all Fat Dog tunes with her sax and keys. In fact, they all kill it, the most refreshing and energetic sound I've heard for some time. Got tickets for QMU gig next Feb, gonna be awesome!
I have never been more confident that a band are going to be huge. Saw them at Boomtown and Truck and were absolutely astounding. An energy and atmosphere so unique and so incredible. Watch them be HUGE
I will never forget watching these guys at Glastonbury this year and the crowd getting so wild that the band had to say to calm down otherwise the event staff would stop the show ahaha
So glad this was filmed, hope the other 3 songs they did on this 6Music session are available soon, best live band out there! Who’s the new replacement for Ben on bass?
@@flaherty5090 I’ve been seeing them since early 2022, he was still in the band for the Brixton gig in April ‘24, guess she joined later this year, when I wrote the comment their Wiki page hadn’t been updated but it is now.
Saw them in Margate in May this year. Couldn't believe that it hadn't sold out, but it was also one of the best gigs I've seen this year. Looking forward to seeing them in November in that there London they have now.
Genuinely found them about a week ago but I’m OBSESSED. Gonna buy tickets and see them live, got the whole album stuck in my head. It’s been a long time since any new artist has me so hooked so soon.
Band of the year. WOOF
Off the scale!
Woof 🎉
