Neighbor WALKS UP on me YELLING while helping Disabled Man in Wheelchair

  • For weeks, I've been working to clear an elderly man's property, but equipment failures kept slowing us down. After a snowstorm, we returned to finish the job, first helping the man shovel his way out of his back door.
While one neighbor loved the work and asked for help with their own yard, another was upset because the noise kept him awake. What happened next was heartbreaking but felt like fate; I believe we encountered the upset neighbor for a reason.

I totally get it, I came to watch you to help me through the day. A week ago Friday we lost our 14 yr old granddaughter she was the girl I never had, my world, it’s so hard to wrap my head around it Erik. My son’s gone back home , I’m trying to find someone to help him with his yard. I know God is in control , but the pain at the moment is almost unbearable . Keep us in your prayers please. As always I’ll continue to pray for you and your mission❤🙏🏼(Robbie)

I know how he feels . Last year at this time I started bringing my dad to doctors appointments and at the end of March he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreatic cancer. He passed away 11 days after finding out. It’s a hard place to be at. I understand where this guy is coming from… it will make a year April 8th he passed away. It seems still unreal to me 😢😢😢😢

@@dougr188 good character is to be able to apologize when you did something wrong.
Don't be a smartass. Saying don't act that way in the first place just means you have to be perfect. There is no room for redemption in people with your line of thinking. You stand on moral pedestals believing yourself to be righteous. No room to make amends.
In fact, saying good character is to not act that way in the first place tells me that I should never apologize when I do something wrong. Because there is no worth to it. I'll double down instead.

Erik, You should have told Grumpy to go take a hike, If he's that tired he should be able to sleep, To be honest, I'd say there's more Noise coming from the traffic on the road in the background, Apart from Grumpy, That's another fine job you've done, keep it up, ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️, As you say, Nobody knows what's going on in people's lives, As we say here in Scotland, it's good to talk, Hopefully the guy is getting the help he needs

Seeing your Kubota tractor takes me back to 2012 when my husband's ex boss bought one for 29,000 without letting his wife know. She hit the ceiling. He was constantly buying things off of those infomercial ads on late night TV. The yard looks fantastic!

It just goes to show, the way you handled him, not getting mad and yelling at him or being rude, goes a long way. More kindness and less anger is always the better road to take. Keep being you and never stray from the path God has put you on. Hugs and prayers for you, your family and those you help. ❤🙏🙂

A campaign that was splashed all over media was "Are you ok". Sometimes we are so wrapped up in our own problems that we forget other people have problems too. You showed that this campaign is important and gave this gentleman an opportunity to vent, that was what he needed the most, someone willing to listen and show compassion and understanding. Thank you both.

Bless you for sacrificing your equipment for people to help them, I don't doubt that you make enough money from these videos to pay for y'all's time and all but, those machines and their maintenance isn't cheap. GOD Bless you for helping out whatever you can for these people you're fortunate to help.

There are people everyday that sleeps because they work night shift. I’d tell him he is wrong, not his property and if not mistake the noise ordinance goes into effect in most cities at 2am. He needs to go back home

Only Friday and Saturday most ordinances are 10/11pm to 7am school nights to be quiet..
7am to 6/7pm is the ordinances for construction type noises which this would fall under

The road noise was louder than the tractors. Hope life gets better for him. I know how he feels when you're at that breaking point. Sometimes we just need help and someone to listen and understand.

Bad days happen to everyone. Taking responsibility for bad behavior says something. Also my husband used to say if it runs it breaks. Have the problems with farm equipment also usually in the middle of planting season or harvest. Thank you for your service to the community.

I truly believe he set you 3 on a collision course and you and Mark stepped up to the plate by helping Mike. I pray for all of you, been where he was at, and it can become a very dark hole, like Mike. I had a meltdown and very good friends put me back on track with love and support they hadn't realised I needed because I hid it so well. I have now learned to ask for help.
