Spencer, clearing and cleaning vacant properties is mor than just the appearance. We had a vacant house next door to us, and it became the home and nest for rats. At night, they overtook my wife's vegetable garden and cleaned it out. They can spread disease and can also spread fleas and ticks to domestic pets. Thanks for cleaning this one up, it really needed it!!! From the front looking at the driveway, I thought there was a garage In the back, but it turned out to be another house! That one is no longer structurally sound and should be torn down. The front house might be a fixer-upper. So many weed-trees next to the house, good to get them out of there!!! Great job, Spencer!!!

That abandoned property certainly brings down the look of the entire neighborhood - the blue house across the street appeared to be nicely kept. Well done - I'm sure everyone around appreciates the improvement - maybe neighbors will pitch in and keep it clean.
What a cute dog, in the red coat, that came out from the neighbour’s house to lay on the front lawn at the beginning of the video. He looked like he wanted to be involved. 🥰

I would have been scared silly after dealing with that homeless guy. Another terrific transformation thanks to Spencer!🎉🙌👏
Thank you for writing the subtitles in the intro.. Very pleasant for those of us with poor hearing. Would appreciate them added to your explanation, too! Love the work you do
I like to imagine as these yards are getting fixed up that little old neighbors inside their houses are slowing starting to open their curtains and clean the windows because the sight isn’t so DISGUSTING to look at outside anymore.
I think the acting is so funny and cute... "Let's see the backyard. Oh yeah, it's all borded up". When he had set the camera beforehand and had already seen the whole thing... You're very sweet Spencer. 😊
It irks me that neighbors don't get together and clean up these places....the way we were brought up, everyone helped each other out. Now people just complain about the mess and do nothing about it. Thank goodness you step in to help.
Are you someone who also drives around to find abandoned homes to keep up with yard work? The town or city hires workers to do lots of these chores. The taxpayers pay for it. Shouldn’t the taxpayers deserve to have the city maintain these places. If it’s abandoned then the city should take care of it, or auction off the property. Don’t be shaming the neighbors, it’s not their responsibility.
Great job Spencer! Was good to hear that the neighbors came out to say thank you. Also, I am thankful you were able to keep safe after your interaction with the man. Keep doing what you do, you're such a treasure to your community!
As a former police officer, I really admire your determination. I would have left and come back another day so I wouldn't have to keep looking over my shoulder lol. I do mowing every now and again (not to the scale you do) but every time I'm doing a lawn, I carry a little OC spray thing, and a Glock 17. I for sure recommend both, but honestly just having OC spray is good enough for most situations you could get into. Love the video as always. Thanks for some more great content.
As a brit I don't think I'll ever get used to the fact that people in your country are allowed to carry guns let alone a policeman advising someone to do so. I was warned by a police man for answering my door with an empty glass milk bottle, he said it was an offensive weapon and I could be prosecuted opening the door with it in my hand. We always leave our empty bottles on the front step for the milkman to collect. Just don't do it when someone knocks on your door or you risk being prosecuted. Even though it saves a trip doing it later when no one is about.
@@jeanauguste-f7i Haha, 'offensive weapon'-that's a new one for me! But hey, I'm going to start using it now. Yeah, gun laws can be all over the map depending on where you are. I'm not out here telling everyone to pack heat, but I gotta admit, having that extra layer of protection for my family is kinda reassuring. But hey, carrying a gun isn't for everyone, that's for sure. I always tell folks, if you're not ready to pull the trigger when push comes to shove, do not carry a gun.
@@treeeva Yes, that's implied, if you can't effectively and accurately put rounds on target don't carry a gun, get trained, but I also mean if you know you don't have what it takes to shoot someone, don't carry a gun.
Such a shame, because it's a cute house. I remember when these types of homes, were great, inexpensive starter homes. People were so proud of these little 1, sometimes 2 bedroom homes, and took immaculate care of both in and outside. Many couples added additional rooms on, themselves, if they wanted to stay in them, as their family grew. Children played outdoors, on most days, even on cold or rainy days, especially boys, in their yellow raincoats.Thank you for cleaning up the yard.
What a transformation. I don't think the house itself is worth remodeling. I noticed some Xmas lights still up. So sad to see a house just go to waste. A happy family with kids in the yard once livened it up.

I don’t understand the concept of abandoned houses. Especially a house with a second house behind it. Nice work. When you cut the tree in front of the front windows I was like YEAHHH thank you 😂
I'm always curious why the skinny little trees (?) along the fence get cut down. I understand the ones in front of windows, and can think of some reasons to cut the others down, but I'd definitely love to learn the reason it's done in these videos. Lovely job as always though!
This is what I’m always wondering - why are all the trees and shrubs decimated? I understand if they’re dead or diseased, but otherwise isn’t it nicer to leave some plant life intact?
I wonder the same thing. Some may have been actually been planted or left on purpose. My other question is when cutting down the young trees and bushes, why leave stumps, instead of cutting ground level so they won't trip someone. That leaves a hazard. Otherwise the places do actually look great! Leaving the cut tall grass though can smother out the grass below encouraging weeds and diseases Especially smaller yards like that. Just something to consider. On a good note though, your work is greatly appreciated!

It's like the front house can breathe again. So sad the back house is beginning to fall down. I was surprised how big the lot was. Great job as always, Spencer, and fun to watch all your hard work pay off! ❤
hopefully by cleaning up this yard, the neighbors will decide to clean up theirs as well and the town will maintain it. Amazing work!
I like how the dog was like "omg look it all this space" and just went off to explore.
Another great rescue! I loved getting a glimpse of what this home was once like. You did an amazing job clearing all the neglect and overgrowth. Thank you for sharing all your adventures with us! Stay safe out there! ❤️
Poor little home! You really spruced it up. Interesting window with curved top in back of main house. Bless your heart, Spencer❤🎉😊
That abandoned property certainly brings down the look of the entire neighborhood - the blue house across the street appeared to be nicely kept. Well done - I'm sure everyone around appreciates the improvement - maybe neighbors will pitch in and keep it clean.
You made this yard look so much better. Good job! Hard work.
That was a cute little house at one time . I’m glad that you cleared the yard for the neighborhood, it looks much better now.
Painted red would be adoreable!
My favorite part watching all the work you do is the uncovering of sidewalks, driveways and walkways. Just amazing. Another great job. Cheers!
What a cute dog, in the red coat, that came out from the neighbour’s house to lay on the front lawn at the beginning of the video. He looked like he wanted to be involved. 🥰
There is something so satisfying about seeing a mess be it a home or yard and seeing the transformation as it goes from messy to orderly.
It is so amazing seeing how much good is being done in these videos. At the same time it's so sad seeing so many abandoned homes. Such a contrast, we can't see the good, without the bad.
Your tireless, on-going volunteer work, Spencer, is a reminder of *the good and the kindness* that DOES exist in our world. Thank you!
It's not really volunteer work when he knows he's gonna get paid for it on UA-cam 😅
@@HellSpartanZWell hopefully he does get $ from UA-cam viewers, but, I believe he'd still be doing this regardless of pay. Also, I would think by now lawn care equipment manufacturers/retailers would be jockeying for his demonstrating their equipment. He's made so many videos and seems to be set on continuing on. Spencer is a brilliant young man, uplifts communities, one lawn at a time, and seems to be a genuine all around good guy. ❣️
@treeeva he's getting paid one way or another mate
As always, an awesome job from a hard-working young man. This cleanup helped the neighborhood with the appearance and safety. Neighbors, we hope all will contact the town or county and property owner with multiple requests for clean up & maintenance.
You are such a good guy Spencer. I don’t miss any of your videos. Thank you for helping out their neighborhood. You did an amazing job💜
Looks like someone lives there and cares about their home. Great job!!
Thank you, Spencer, for doing these yards!
Quite the transformation Mr Mower!!!!! I know the neighbors must be so relieved to have that yard taken care of. Wow, it was really overgrown! Great Job!
Wow. The "before" looks spooky and ramshackle. The "after" almost looks like a inviting cottage.
The one "structure" out back looks like the weed trees are the only thing holding it together.
I would have been scared silly after dealing with that homeless guy.
Another terrific transformation thanks to Spencer!🎉🙌👏
Thank you for writing the subtitles in the intro.. Very pleasant for those of us with poor hearing. Would appreciate them added to your explanation, too! Love the work you do
I love the before and after my favorite part of every video
You often do tougher jobs than others- thank you!
You outclassed the neighbors. Great job once again.
I didn't even make that connection.
Superb job Spencer, a tidy garden is a happy garden, I bet the neighbours were well happy with the job you did. 🤟🏼👍✌️⭐️⭐️
@DanielCravens ...And by "ready", you also mean "are trained on using them", right? 😊❤
@@treeeva Yes, that's implied, if you can't effectively and accurately put rounds on target don't carry a gun, get trained, but I also mean if you know you don't have what it takes to shoot someone, don't carry a gun.
I don't know how you can see through all that hay to do the edging! You do a great job. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Thank you for being a friend to this neighborhood. Keep safe.
Wow Spencer i am so happy you found this yard and gave it your all!! Wow a total transformation, thanks for sharing!!
It would be so satisfying to see these properties get a pressure wash after.
A pressure wash would probably demolish some of these houses.😢
Such a shame, because it's a cute house. I remember when these types of homes, were great, inexpensive starter homes. People were so proud of these little 1, sometimes 2 bedroom homes, and took immaculate care of both in and outside. Many couples added additional rooms on, themselves, if they wanted to stay in them, as their family grew. Children played outdoors, on most days, even on cold or rainy days, especially boys, in their yellow raincoats.Thank you for cleaning up the yard.
The Christmas lights that someone put up shows that at some point there was probably a family living there.
What a transformation. I don't think the house itself is worth remodeling. I noticed some Xmas lights still up. So sad to see a house just go to waste. A happy family with kids in the yard once livened it up.
Wow! Seems like such a cute little property with the guesthouse/small extra house in the back. Obviously it needs a ton of work but would be so nice if someone could fix it up! Nice work Spencer as always
Spencer that looks 1,000 times better now that you have worked your magic on this transformation clean up you go above and beyond every yard you do always looks so nice when you finish you truly are an earth angel helping so many people and communities and neighborhoods thank you for being such a caring person may god bless you . Please take care and be safe I love all your videos thank you for sharing them.
I'll the owner of the house on the right is now thinking "Great! Now OURS is the worst looking yard in the block!".
But seriously another terrific job Spence. Your parents must be so proud.
There are many people who do not care that their house looks like a dump. They don’t even see it. It totally does not bother them. It is the lazy and classless among us.
@@justme-on7bn Or the ones with chronic physical or mental illnesses. Yes... there are some that don't care/lazy... but there are a lot that just can't. Who are you to decide from a video which type the neighbors are?
Amazing how many people are so quick to say thank you but are slow to even try to help
1:34 the doggies tho!🐾❤️😉
Running theme in Spencer’s videos lately!🙂
I’ve seen several encounters with homeless people/squatters on other mowing channels, and it’s scary. Always glad you guys are recording. Be aware, be safe.😬
Another fine job Spencer.
The before and after shots are amazing. Your work ethic is aplaudable. God bless you.
Hello Spencer, another fine job done on this one. I love your edging it's always so straight and captives the garden just so. This house looks so much better now that it's not overgrown. Well done and thank you for your help around the community. Lots of love to you and your wife.
My 11 mo old golden retriever just watched all but the last 7-8 minutes of this video. She was mesmerized. LOL
These videos are not landscaping. They're clearing the land.
Many times, trees along fence lines are scrub (undesirables).
Your videos are somehow quite cathartic and pleasing to see the often incredible transformation from unsightly to orderly!
God Bless you, Spencer! 🙂 You work so hard! You do Wonderful work transforming neglected yards, sidewalks, driveways, etc. We Smile ☺ everytime you do this Awesome Volunteer work,
Thankyou! 😊
Encountering a homeless man at an abandoned home. Sad sign of the times.
Please - Protect your nose and lungs and mouth and keep dust out - wear a mask!
You must! You must! Amazingly good work - People will be lost trying to navigate past the overgrown house - where did it go?
I'm glad that you didn't show the guy trying to fight you!! Promote POSITIVITY!! Btw, great job on the property too 👍🏾
Looks great, Spencer!! Be careful going to abandoned homes, as you know that they draw in people that could be dangerous to you. God bless you for all that you do!
