    2 questions, we do not have the purge pump so is it normal for the cooler to pour a lot of water from the drain? Also, do I have to turn the water off every time I shut the unit off? If I leave the water on, it continues to leak water.

      Adjust the float and make sure the drain nut is tight, if those 2 things don’t work you probably should go with ac

    how do you take out the back panel to change the filter ?

    • @MasterCool
      @MasterCool  8 років тому +1

      Hello equipolosantrax57, To remove the back panel, you will need to disconnect the power and turn off the water supply. Next, remove the 4 screws from the back of the media guard, push up on back guard/panel to remove. (You may need two people for this) Lastly, you will need to locate the media pegs on the pad and remove by pulling clips off pegs to remove the media.

      It typically takes two people. Remove the screws off the back panel, then remove the media pegs and clips to replace, and reinstall.

    is it necessary to have a purge pump for my mcp44 cooler?

      No, but it'll make your media pads last longer and prevent bacteria build up. I'd highly suggest getting one. They are only about 50 bucks.
