How many inches from the front end of the the side rails are the pivot knuckles release knobs supposed to be set ? They were sent loosely floating. Also how many inches from the front end of side rails are the locking lever supposed to be? Thanks!
You guys made this look so easy 😅 The zippers are a pain to zip up. I had other issues with the install. Definitely room for improvement with this version. Oh, and those wire taps were designed to stop the new wire at the end. That's why that was there. Not a defect.
I made sure to save the video when I first came across it and knew I wanted the bestop supertop for my Tacoma. Watched the video again before my install which made it a breeze.
Just a tip on video style - increase you f-stop and lose the shallow depth of field once you get into the install portion. Feels like tunnel vision and can't see the bigger picture. Also loses focus point a bunch which is distracting.
Had a super hard time trying to get installed. A shop couldn’t even get this to be installed. It seems like it doesn’t fit like if it’s to small. Idk might be just me having this problem.
You guys saved us! My mom and I were struggling with the back panel ( by the cab), couldn't get it to work, cursing our shortness and weak fingers, but watching you remove the back rail and sliding the thing into the groove, worked like a charm! To be clear : it's mom's truck, a 2016 GMC Canyon. I have a few questions: for whatever reason the wiring harness connecter for the break light was wired backwards. Did you have that issue?
@@TacoGarage yep ours was wired backwards ( red wire to black wire, black wire to red wire),however two very helpful employees from O'Reilly auto parts fixed it for us. They must have spent 30+ minutes helping us, right down to crawling under the truck in the parking lot in the Florida heat and sun ( ouch!). As for fixing it, we gave them our blessing to rewire the harness- in store! Most humorously was the two guys griping that the wire strippers it their toolbox were pieces of crap, then they proceeded to go and grab a 45$ pair of wire strippers from a shelf, open them, strip wires, then reseal them, and put them back on the shelf!
@@jzila9900 🙄 either way, if you say "no one cares" or "who cares" the fact you even bothered to write a response means that you cared just enough to write a response. Then just even responding to my response saying you meant something else instead of just editing the initial response to be what you intended also means you care 🤔
This is an awful video, you cannot see anything it is too dark. And you have no idea how your wire connectors work. They are supposed to have the as you put it debris in it , it is a stopper so your wire you are connecting doesn't go through

Yes, we are still working on our UA-cam game, but that's definitely something we noticed, too much of it in this instance.
Great video. Do the 4 screws that go on the center long rails have to be screwed all the way through, or they

We did not have that issue thankfully, and that is obviously a defect, but relatively easy to fix. Did you?

can it hold any weight if something its put in top of it?
Why is the gap so much from the cabin?
Just installed the super top for truck 2 on my 2019 f150, BUT FOR SOME REASON THE TAILGATE HITS THE BACK BAR AND ITS HARD TO CLOSE
I need to get one of these so bad
reach out to us we might be able to work out a deal for you
@@TacoGarage is this offer still available? :)
Why does this look like it was recorded with a cinema filter? Like the black are REALLY black and the reds are extremely vibrant.
