Everytime when Per helps Marie up i wanne cry. They did so much together in 35 years! Sitting on the same Plane for World Tours all over the World. But in all that years, thats the nicest thing Per can give to her. Best Buddys for ever!
I have read that there were times when they had big arguments but I think in the end of the day it all boils down to supporting a good friend when she was in need.
Looking at this performance it is beautiful to see how much the band is around her, making it a party for Maria. Taking away attention so she could have her moments of recovery not to burn out on stage. My guess is that she had asked for this as a good bye present for her. And truly they gave it to her with all their hearts. Though she barely had the energy to stay there I notice how much she enjoyed having a last go at it. This was her goodbye party and what a way to go! Lots of love and admiration to both her and Per and the band. Never let problems or a disease define who you are or how you go!

As I face my own mortality at the young age of 53, due to health issues, it really hits hard to see this. I loved Marie and may be joining her sooner than we both should have met. God bless her effort in the middle of such difficult times.

I always have such mad respect when artists who are obviously not well and probably at the end of their lives still give whatever they have to their performance. Such a beautiful final way to remember Marie, doing what she loved in front of loving audiences who only wanted to soak in her presence.
Even in her weakest moments Marie PUSHED through them with the fire of a warrior, never giving up on music because music NEVER gave up on her. To see her command the audience is a TEST of her STRENGTH, which she had right up to the end. RIP MARIE even in 2021 you are loved missed and revered. You are singing with the angels and the chorus sounds just THAT MUCH BETTER!!

This is incredible. Marie Fredriksson, visibly weakened and slowly dying from brain cancer, managed to project a _phenomenal_ stage presence despite being confined to a chair. That's power the likes of which we rarely see. I'd hoped Marie would beat that tumour. Sadly not. Like everyone else here, I was beyond sad to hear she lost her struggle. At least she left behind so much wonderful material we can cherish forever. Marie is gone, but her legacy lives on.

Now, she has left the stages forever because of that, but she is reting with her family at her home, Marie is a strong woman, I know that she is going to overcome this chapter of her life and she will be better... This was 5 years ago tonight. Love Dea's enthusiam - in fact that whole band were just incredible and so obviously enjoying themselves, at what would be their 15th last ever gig :-( Excellent fan footage - pity the end cut too soon as Per and Marie walked off to the back of the stage and turned for the last time as the crowd was screaming so loudly. I think many of us sensed we would never see them again, and so it proved.
