Beautiful. The movements don’t necessarily mean much. It’s the wing chun idea force behind it that’s most important. That’s what we strive for. Get that and you can perform any movement
Sifu Cris Chan. Crisp, fast movements. A little too aggressive for me. It was back in the 70s with Rick Alemany on 18th St. above Castro St. in San Francisco. Good times.
Well it's not the traditional Sil Nim Tao, but all sil nim tao is, is learning how to move with freedom of the joints, and no muscle activation, so theoretically any set of movements similar to traditional sil nim tao will fulfill that purpose if it's trained in the correct way. I see why a lot of people think this is Bil jee, but all that's added into this form from bil jee is the wrist flexing techniques, for added wrist flexibility, which isn't actually all that essential, thus why traditional wing chun only has it once at the start it its final form. Still interesting to see another take on Sil Nim Tao.
wth all respect..I have never seen any masters of any lineage show nei go gong and inner repulsing power...like an electrifying eel...John Chang....Minzer,Brecher,Sam Tam,etc... any reason why. not?
+US Wing Chun Videos Thanks for sharing this.....my Sifu was there in this video. At the beginning you can hear a conversation and you will hear "pro football hall of fame in North Canton Ohio" which is where we are from. This video was SOOOO cool to see.
+Glen Smith no need to be rude or hostile. Perhaps you should spend some time with your sifu working on humility and respect. While you're at it, look into the differences between the Yip Man lineage and that of Pan Nam. This is most definitely Siu Lim Tao.
+Myc O. File Humility, indeed. As I keep pulling the thread on Wing Chun and Kung Fu and martial arts in general, I'm not sure I can work on my humility anymore! I have to give a shout out for UA-cam, without it I would be in a dark corner sulking.
Wing Chun ia a beautiful mystery
Sifu chris. True grandmaster. I see my wing chun brother Ralf
Great Grandmaster.

How does Pan Nam & Yip Man's Wing Chun differ?
MrOphachew Pan style is combine with Hung Gar kung-fu, know as Wing Chun hand + Hung Gar power.
Ip man's wing chun is bull shit
Wing Chun lineage politics are bullshit.
@@aussieyobbosworld??? Please elaborate...
Only bullshit u still talking about him after he dust in da ground
@@aussieyobbosworld Ip man isn't bullshit, but most of their students are, along with the movies :)))

Actually the original siu nim tao was composed of those movements :)
Translation to English please.
叶家公子有持无恐,自己的功夫未必比彭南先生强,摆个姿态,非常不尊重自己的师兄。
Shows what kind of characters they are compared to pan nam who maintained a humble self in spite of his status.

those names you mentioned don't show it either...smh
Because if you think anything of value are shared in public, you don't know anything about Chinese culture.
It would be nice to see actual applications to the form otherwise it's just another form
Forms are based on application - not the other way around.
You do the form then if someone attack you your body naturally moves. It sounds bogus but happened to me a few times in my life.
@@lennybridgeman6634 forms are a type of drill, not always 100% the same way the application of it works.
Ip Chun smoking 😂😂😂bad example!😩😰
This is an awesome video with great historic value for his lineage. That being said.. This isn't Siu Nim Tao, it's Bil Jee. How dumb can one get?
+Glen Smith it's siu nim tao.
