Hi may I know what kind of vinyl should I use to personalize a backdrop? Do I use the removable one? Is it reliable. It will be my first time to make one.
I can never get this to stick with removable or permanent vinyl always slips off

Yes, you can remove it without damaging the fabric.
Hi, i am trying to do evwnt decor as aide hussle. I am curious to know if you make your own vinyl or do you have a source that's reasonable price. I see customize vinyl on amazon but not sure if they work om fabrics. Also what length and height do you normally use for decal letters? Love seeing your videos.
Hey, thank you so much. I have a cricut machine so I make my own decals. The vinyl brand I use is Oracal 631. The sizing differs according to how wide my backdrop is but I always want my words to be at least 12cm tall
What cricut machine would you reccomend?

Where did you get the spandex cover. We have the same vinyl and are having trouble applying. The cover I have is spandex and was purchased from Tablecloth Factory. Thanks

Did either of you find a solution? Tablecloth spandex cover is hard for me to adhere vinyl as well. Debating if heat transfer vinyl will work but then removing will be my next concern for re-use

@@ashleynigro4097 Hey girl, what I ended up doing is buying an acrylic circle and that way it sticks properly and its also reusable for any event/backdrop stand.

Thx for the video. If you stick it on a Tshirt a couple of times, seems like that would render the decal useless since it only is a one time stick and peel product. Can you explain a bit more about you instructions on this matter? Thank you!
Hey, the part that you need to stick on a t-shirt is the transfertape but you do this before you transfer the decal onto it. Let me know if that helps 🫶🏾

I’d like to note that this will not work if your backdrop is out doors. Heat, humidity, rain all play a factor. The letters are not adhered like it would be on a solid surface. They come off right away. Great concept and idea to be able to reuse but it’s not something I would ever do for a customer.
@@whichcraftLiz hey, I typically use my mdf backdrops for outdoor set ups anyway. I have used a frame + cover from Lofaris backdrops for an outdoor set up in the middle of summer and did not have any issues. 🫶🏾🎈

I want to order a decal from Etsy but all of them say the vinyl decal does not stick on fabric! Where can I order a decal for my fabric cover?
Hmm, interesting. Maybe ask the seller what brand the use.. I use Oracal 631 and it always sticks. My fabrics are polyester though. They may put that as a disclaimer because not everyone has a succesfull application. Maybe try ordering a small sample and see if it works. If you use decals often think of investing in a (second hand) cricut machine to be able to cut it yourself. I have an older cricut explore air 2 model and it works still works fine. I hope that helps 🩷

So I actually had this happen to me with a different brand then I normally use. I'd try Oracal 631 or 651. Those are my go to brands
What size are you Letters?
It depends on the size of my backdrop. But I try to keep it at a minimum of 12cm tall.
