printing this right now. my overall thoughts to improve the design initially is make it so that the camera connector in the middle is 2 bars wide so that you could slide the rods next to each other for increased storage ability or the ability to go from small to wide. For instance in a backpack a 1ft wide holder is a bit easier to store than a 2ft lol
great realization to share! (geometry yay!) re: production it will be my preference to use wood. because I dislike using plastic, don't have a plastic part printer, and DO have wood and all the (wood and metal working) tools I'd need!
Unfortunately, yesn't is right. The A6600 does have a pretty advanced stabilization, and it's really good at taking out tiny, micro-shakes... but the big shakes caused by my fat, caffeine-addicted hands were *wayyy* too much for what the camera has on-board.
