Lifelong Sooner fan here , I was at this game. Torrence Marshalls pic 6 was the biggest play of the whole 2000 season!! That crowd went quiet after that TD. What great memories.
I do this all the time. I would swear on a Bible the 2021 Red River game came down to OU only scoring on the final play to win; rewatched it not long ago and OU had taken the lead halfway through the 4th quarter and it was Texas trying to get it to OT. Of course OU actually did score on the final play to win, but in a much different manner
1:23:38 You MUST know this about me, to understand where, when and HOW I grew up: Born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Washington, Oregon and Oregon State fan. Japanese-American. I remember, Mark Farris made a great throw, the receiver caught it, and his hot then-wife Neocia clapped and smiled! MY sexual fantasy is, I'm the QB, I make a great throw at crunch time, and my hot blonde wife smiles and claps!
OU last 5 games * a 4th qtr comeback to win * a 14 pt win over a bad TT team * a 5 pt win over a very bad OSU team * a 3 pt win over a coach that finished 5-36 against top 10 teams * a 11 pt win over a coach that owned 14 teams in a row that finished in the top 5 but only had 2 NCs. In 2000, Stoops tried to show his true colors. He did the rest of his woulda, coulda, shoulda career.
What's your point? Heupel played the last two games with an injured shoulder. We beat one of the best offensive teams of all time in FSU, and held their offense scoreless. Can't ask for better than that! One of the bet championship runs ever!
@@CoreyT127 it's not that easy. One thing you have to consider is how big he was. You have all that weight on that ankle. He tried his best. I knew all of them guys. Torrance, Calmus, Fisher...they was hitting Toombs pretty hard. It may not look like it but they was.

1:14:29 Another magical moment in that 2000 season that will forever live in my memory. Torrance Marshall's clutch pick six.
That game was epic!
One of the great games of all time, as a sooner it was the best environment ever!
56:02 That block by Heupel. My word.
Back when OU had a solid defence.
"3 days ago" have you not watched the defense this year?
OU has been winning shootouts for 20 years
I will never forget this game.
Me either.
This is what we call Sooner Magic!
in case you were wondering it's 1:07:21
You mean at 1:14:30
I remembered that Marshall INT much differently. I was sure it was within 2 minutes of the game being over.
I do too, that's so weird.
@@snapcount75 Mandela? 😅

Half the starting defensive 11 were from Oklahoma High Schools

I love it when asswipes like you run their friggin mouths. Shows how stupid asswipes like you really are, lol.
Should've run Toombs every play last possession, instead they run him on 1st an take him out 2nd,3rd, ?
He was hurting...sprained ankle
@@jbcool9178 oh, makes sense then. Still should've tufted it out playing #1!

Did they offer a grammar course at OU?

Terrible editing missed most of a scoring drive.
