Major impact of Cyclone Gabrielle on Hawke's Bay rail network

Great video Kiwirail, they say flooding and landslides are one of the worst disasters to live through, you can see it coming and human nature is to stick around in the hope you can change something and a miracle is going to happen, sounds like they cut it pretty fine, scary experience.

i was talking to a geo scientist, they recon that the volcano in tonga ejected millions upon millions of tons of water and it all rained down on new zealand
