I had planned on switching to the book only, but they ended up selling out, so I'm on the wait list. I'm sort of okay with it...I love that there was a brand new item that they hadn't done before, the reusable napkin/washcloth. I will definitely use it as I've been trying to transition away from using paper towels so much. I liked the bookmark, though these metal ones are a little shiny and heavy for me. I really loved Emily Wilde though so no complaints on the fandom and honestly, any bookmark is good. It is a book box, after all! Was not happy to see ANOTHER tote. Don't get me wrong, it's cute. Loved the sides. But how many do we need? They sent the corduroy one in the advent box, there was the Howl's Moving Castle one not too long ago as well. Plus several others over the years. I will say that if you don't use it as a tote, maybe you could use it for your pin banner (at least until they send another one?) The coloring items were okay. Always fun to get and I appreciate they sent the coloring pages along with something to use to color them in. The book is really cute. I love the foiled end pages. I really like their cover over the original one too. I've really appreciated them putting the author letter in the book, bound, this last year. I always kept them with it, now it doesn't have the chance to get lost. The book is really why I keep on subscribing to Owlcrate even though the items are really losing my interest. They do such a good job with it and I love that they are still being hand signed.
That looks really cool! I hopped on the website to try and sign up for my daughter, but sadly they're sold out of subscriptions right now. :( But I did find an older box that I could order for her that I think she'll like.

I loved each of the items in the Owlcrate box. The tote was "totes adorb." I loved the series Caraval by Stephanie Garber (highly recommend) & I am looking forward to reading her Once upon a broken heart series. The moving pin was so unique and fairytale-esque. It's definitely one of the better Owlcrate boxes. Happy Reading 📚
Actually No the pin Banner is Not always December's item, I've got the box since 2018 the first pin banner was in April 2019 and then '20 '21 & '22 all came in January's box.🦉
The items were beautiful but i do not see the value. The book was astonishing. Thank you for reading the colour papers for us. My favourite item was the pin. I loved the strange the dreamer quote and art but not the item they put it on
You should definitely read the Once Upon A Broken Heart series. If you haven't read the Caravel series don't worry, it barely has an impact on this series and can be read separately. It's so very Fairy Tale-esque. Such a beautiful and easy read
