1 . dequirens tenosynovitis:- De Quervain’s tenosynovitis (also known as De Quervain’s syndrome) is more commonly seen in women than men, and most often occurs in the wrist of the dominant hand. The greatest incidence is seen between the ages of 30-50.1 It is associated with overuse due to repetitive and/or forceful motions as well as trauma to the thumb or first dorsal compartment.
2. Thumb arthritis :-
Thumb arthritis can cause severe pain, swelling, and decreased strength and range of motion, making it difficult to do simple tasks, such as turning doorknobs and opening jars. Treatment generally involves a combination of medication and splints. Severe thumb arthritis might require surgery.
3 Wrist Ganglion Cyst :- Although they're known medically as soft tissue tumors, ganglion (GAN-glee-in) cysts are not cancerous and are easily treated. It may be described as a mass, swelling, or bump. common locations and are often seen on the back of the wrist in the middle.
4 Wrist arthritis :- Pain and stiffness are common symptoms of arthritis. Your wrist is made up of many small joints, and inflammation in these areas can be a sign of arthritis. Arthritis attacks your bones by destroying the cartilage, causing your bones to rub against one another. Other signs and symptoms of arthritis of the wrist include:
stiffness In Wrist
weakness In Wrist
swelling In Wrist
Wrist limited range of motion
clicking, cracking, or grinding sounds on movement
5 Carpal Tunnel Syndrome :- It happens because of pressure on your median nerve, which runs the length of your arm, goes through a passage in your wrist called the carpal tunnel, and ends in your hand. The median controls the movement and feeling of your thumb and the movement of all your fingers except your pinky.
6. TFCC Injury - Patients with TFCC injury will present with ulnar-sided wrist pain that may present with clicking or point tenderness between the pisiform and the ulnar head.
