The M1A5 is a vehicle in Battlefield 2042. It is the main battle tank of the United States faction, and can seat four players - a driver, a top gunner, a forward gunner and a spotter.
As with many ground vehicles, the M1A5 can be requested for call-in, either from the Spawn Screen or while in-field.
It can seat four players. The driver operates a 127mm cannon with one of three available types of ammunition, and a coaxial machine gun. The top gunner can be equipped with one of three heavy weapon systems, including a TOW Missile. The forward gunner operates a weapon pod, and the commander operates the Sensor Array and Detection Pulse.

Battlefield 2042 is a 2021 first-person shooter, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the twelfth main installment in the Battlefield series and was released on November 19, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Unlike previous games in the series, Battlefield 2042 is solely multiplayer and does not have a single-player campaign. It features support for cross-platform play, a first in the series.
The game has three main gameplay modes. "All-Out Warfare" encompasses "Breakthrough" and "Conquest", two staple modes of the series. In Conquest, two teams combat against each other to capture control points; once all control points in a sector are captured, the team controls said sector. In Breakthrough, one team must try to capture another team's control points, while another team must defend them. Both modes can be played with and against AI-controlled players. The Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S versions support matches with up to 128 players, whereas the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions support up to 64 players.

I know it makes no sense me saying this since I already dismissed the game in terms of being futuristic and futuristically accurate but why call it A5 when it is not even that much more advanced than the current Abrams variant ?
Probably the same reason why they just implemented Health & ammo pouches into the game two years in & called it new content.

at any given moment, any player can switch it up and fire a rocket at you, or use C5; just be cautious my friend =]
Keep changing your position. Know when to sit back and support and when to retreat.

@@Gazsh1 if the tank shell detonates a grenade that is either on the ground or in the air you will receive kills from the splash damage when it hits enemy players with low health.

world of free kills because players don't want to work together to take out 1 tank. DEVs literally had to add features & gadgets to the game because no one works together to stop tankers like me, lol.
