I wanna know why people be hating on this dude. And saying he aint doing right. Based on my aquired wisdom from drywall trades persons. And my own experience. This dude is doing a good job. Instead of hating go out and get a job. Then come back and tell us how easy it is.
I’m a damn licensed general contractor I follow this dude videos have not seen anything this man messed up at all people be hating that’s all that is bruh it’s called haters
This dude is smart. I’m binging on his videos planning to finish my basement. I built a house in Georgia a couple of years ago and don’t like the cost-quality of work here compared to the quality of work done in Florida my home.
RIGHT!? The only thing I’d add to your comment is …after that, successfully make a video that details how, why step by step, and stand up to the scrutiny…repeatedly.
Why? Because that’s what haters do…they hate! 🤣😂 in this case, it’s part of the territory of success. Most of us are cheering him on. God bless this guy. I hope he keeps on keepin’ on!
This young man is on point. Who wouldn't want him for an employee. Soon he will have his own company. I wish him all the success hard work brings in America. 😊
Finally a video showing the cornice installed. Hopefully people will stop commenting "I've been rocking for 200 years, and I'd never leave a gap that big at the top".

I'm wanting to renovate my house. I want to cover the exposed brick walls with plasterboard. Have you got any tips for me? What adhesive should I use. Some say expandable spray foam adhesive instead of standard dot and dab adhesive. 🤷🏼♂ Also can I butt up against the existing cornice or is it be to remove and re-do the cornice after? 🙏
They make a masonry adhesive powder for sticking gyprock to masonry surfaces. Make sure the brick work is prepped and clean before sheeting over. Remove cornice. Butting up to the bottom of cornice always looks terrible. Enjoy
@@brenyboy26 Thanks mate - Good advice. I've made a start. Been using Cornice cement 60 to adhere the sheets to the bricks. So far that's been working very well. I did end up removing all the cornice which made it less fiddly to fit the sheets. But haven't got to cutting and mounting the new cornices. That part will test me a little, but gonna give it a go anyway.
@@scoop-n7oIn the USA (not sure if methods are different elsewhere), you would attach wood lathes to the stone surface vertically every 16” (406.4 mm) on center and then attach the boards to the lathes with screws. This creates a much more even surface to attach the board to, and it gives you something to nail your trim, or cornice, into, rather than relying on glue or cornice cement. Attaching the wood lathes to the brick is a bit of a time consuming challenge, requiring special drill bits and screws, but it makes life easier down the line during install.
Nonsense .Mud is the best way.Leave good size globs on the back like screws would be. All condos, hospitals, commercial buildings use mud. It is an excellent adhesive and is the cheapest choice. You would spend hundreds of dollars using tubes of any kind.
Yes. The timber would be covered with Gyprock on all sides and metal angles applied to the external corners, then set with plaster. This is called a square set doorway

Ummm wtf... cut it in once peice... why have a chance of that seam cracking and more for the taper ? And longer for you to do 2 peices.. very confused hanger 15 yrs experience 😢

Yes they are!
Dr Umar needs your skills for his school!!! Nice work buddy
So that’s setup for a door. What if there isn’t a door? Do you add drywall to the green part of that wood ? And mud it after wards ?
