Wow, really enjoyed your video. The drone segments are awesome. Planning to visit Campeche this winter. Also, I smile every time I see the name of your channel, so funny.
Campeche is a very historical city, full of color and nice people hope you can go in February and live the experience of the "carnaval" one of the biggest and oldest traditions. Also there are the fountains show in the malecon each night. Thanks for showing the city to new people 🇲🇽🌈💖
Campeche is my favorite city in Mexico with Veracruz a close second. Spent a weekend there in 2021, a week there this past February. Planning a month there this winter. This year I rented a car and took a day trip to the beach at Sabancuy, about 90 minutes away in the direction of Ciudad del Carmen.
I went there on a daytrip when I was in Merida. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was my travel surprise of the year. The city is beautiful, colorful, and had a charm to it. Great discovery for sure!
Where did you stay? And is there a beach ? Thx I was thinking it might be nicer as far as crowds compared to Merida and now maybe even Progreso.:) thx.
I had a friend there who found me an apartment on Nicaragua caille. It was 160 US per month and had a roof top patio! It was about a 20 min walk to the waterfront, where I spent alot of time, when we weren't exploring nearby ruins. There's a beach just outside of town, easy bus ride. We went to turtle Beach about an hour from Campeche on the weekends. This is not a tourist town and that's one reason why I loved it. The colorful buildings, Italian coffee shops in mansions, pirate walls! The area is packed full of history.
I was excited to see where you guys had gone!! So cool! I have never been to Campeche but I loved Merida! I am sure I will love Campeche… I am so happy you showed this place, it looks so nice! And I am very glad you talked so confidently about using the bus which is true! I am Mexican but I live in the US lol! I will keep following you since I love your videos 💖🎊
This was a *really* well done video: the history was very interesting and I love all of the shots that you guys took time to get. Thank you for featuring this city, I had never heard of it before. What a gem! Now it's on my beaten path!
The sign dance, YAY! What amazed me about Campeche is how clean it is! The cat on the computer, HA!! Loved Calle 59. It's a wonderful malecon walk. The trolley is definitely worth the money. I didn't see the videomapping, but I did see an amazing light show on the malecon. Next time - Anne
So clean! Yeah, we think the malecón light show was under renovation because the fountain area was closed. But that just means we’ll have to come back!
I was glad to get the chance to see that area. I'm due again. We went via the Puuc region, going through OXkutzcab, Ichpich, Hopelchen, Tohkok... It was surprising to see U.S. /Can. Styled Farms and homes in Hopelchen, and all the farmers were tall, blond, and very very fit, and their children were riding around on 4x4's. But the most memorable for me was the orange and lime blossoms in the region. Heavenly. Yeah, I know, this was supposed to be a plug for Campeche but....
Thank you guys for showing a bit of so much of the good side of my Mèxico. Things that the news will never show. Great job!! New subscriber!! Best regards! 😉👍
We enjoyed it when we were here in 2019 and yes, took the bus from Merida. Thank you for sharing the information about the Museums! We did not get to see those. Also the trolley! They did not have that when we were there last so we will definitely go back!!!
I can't wait till you guys are doing YT full-time (even though it may feel full-time now). I need more. Thursdays are so far apart. I know its a lot to ask. When YT is paying you guys handsomely, I hope we can get more content, longer format from all over the world. And maybe you guys can become the Anthony Bourdain of vegan cuisine. Here's to hoping that day is closer than we think 🥂
What a lovely video, thanks! I was there only two or three days, so couldn't do everything, but I did see the fort, the museum, walked the walls and the malecon, which got hot, hot, hot by 10 a.m. on a February morning. Loved Campeche, especially the street art in the walled city, which made walking around extra fun! Love your vids!
Wondered where you boys had been. I’m glad you enjoy LA-somebody has to 😄. I hit the lifetime limit some years ago. I’m retired, widowed (2019). We have traveled Mexico, Central/South America since ‘74 when we attended Universidad de las Americas in Cholula, Pue. I maintain a place on Ambergris Caye, Belize and my home in Austin,Tx. Where can we find your writing and music? Do y’all have a site? Merida is a tough place to leave, but welcome back.
What a cute little city I loved it 🥰. When you say it’s hot 🥵 how hot like humidity & heat or heat & heat❓I love all the inserted GIF’s by the way. Eddie Murphy was my fav on this video 😂🍷
Nice video. You covered a lot of bases. It looks beautiful. Have you guys considered living in another part of Mexico since you’ve been in Merida for almost 2 yrs?
I had a feeling that y'all were going to Campeche. I'm wondering how are the prices there in comparison to Merida? Great video, thanks for sharing your experiences.
Your videos are great, they're both informative and entertaining. I'm also plant-based so it's nice to see how & where you eat when in a particular city. I'll check out Campeche when I go to Merida.
Hey guys, check your closed captions/sub-titles. The first couple sentences are not cool. Not sure if someone added sub-titles for you or if somehow they auto-generated but you want to change what it says.
Hi guys! Thanks for showing Campeche with so much love!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the city. It was an absolute pleasure having you in Casa Corazón
Ah we will! Thanks so much for your hospitality and wonderful place!! ❤️❤️❤️

Haha it was like 95, plus humidity during the day. Very hot, but the nights were great!
@@TravelWTravis Yikes 😬 we’re going to hit 105 today in the California 🏜 desert…it’s slowly creeping up here. 🥵
Haha how’d you know?! And prices were pretty comparable to Merida for food, etc. We don’t know about housing though!
So informative. I love your content. Kind people attract kind people. Stay cool.
❤️❤️❤️
Fun fact the only walled city north of Campeche is Quebec city ,Canada
Thank David & Travis! We dream of grabbing a vegan bite with you in your neck of the woods one day. Love your videos. Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️
Your videos are great, they're both informative and entertaining. I'm also plant-based so it's nice to see how & where you eat when in a particular city. I'll check out Campeche when I go to Merida.
Bien hecho video. Como siempre, ahora ya me voy. Gracias!
Yay! Looks like a great place to explore.
So, did you eat at that one vegan place for seven days? I always love the food parts of your videos.
Haha basically! No, we ate some tacos and cooked some but did have Crush twice 😬
Love your vibes guys, thanks for being in town, hope you came back because you haven’t seen nothing yet ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Very interesting, guys! 😎
Hey guys, check your closed captions/sub-titles. The first couple sentences are not cool. Not sure if someone added sub-titles for you or if somehow they auto-generated but you want to change what it says.

Nice video boys
You have to go to Kalakmul even if it shows in Campeche state it is closest to Quintana Roo
This is also where I discovered molletes!
🥂🥂🥂❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️
¿What about nearby beaches and sargassum?
There isn’t any sargassum on the Gulf, thankfully! We didn’t get to the beaches this time, but we’ll go on our next trip!
Campeche is supposedly one of the wealthiest cities in Mexico. Did you notice that when there?
We didn’t notice any ostentatious wealth, but everything was very nice so 🤷♂️
🦀🦐🐙🐟🦀🦐🐙🐟
..by 2023 Will be connected by tren maya from Cancún and Mérida.
Campeche is very boring! I was just there this month!
They aren't relaxed, they're bored.
