A lot of people explain that it’s easy. What I want to know more is how top level players are screwing it up? Are they overthinking it? Are they getting the order wrong? *Why?*
*Blizzard* - So, we have some new cards for the MOST LIKED heroes. You should be able to play and experiment. *Priest* - Do I get some of those new cards? *Blizzard* - Meh. You get math. Play with those.
I think the deck is stupid and looks boring but holy crap if that isn't a high skill cap deck I don't know what is. I mean it isn't traditional hearthstone skill but it is some sort of skill
I think it's a combo that most people can learn with a lot of practice. I did it correctly the first time, but the second and third time I messed up. Also high apm is a thing with this combo XD. General rules to not fail: -Always copy your test subject before swapping it. -When you get a second vivid nightmare, use it on your radiant -Don't put too many divine spirits on your test subject (copy the 1 hp one to see how many you put on) -Use excess vivid nightmares on boars or radiants, but don't fill up the board. (Boars are nice because you can often kill them off.) -Don't try to go too far, because when you got 10 spells on your test subject, you will never get your topsy turvy back. That's something people can learn if they practice enough. I guess. But Dog did this consistently on day 1, which is ridiculous.
For those who somehow don't see it: Power Word: Shield, triple Divine Spirit, Topsy Turvy. Even without the two Vivid Nightmares in hand, that's a 32/1.
not now. Dog is insane because he's the first single persons (idk who's first tho), but most of the top player can put this combo out now. It needs more practice.
It needs a lot of practice. I can write it down no problem (that would take it's time), but actually playing it within 75 seconds without messing it up is very unlikely.
I come back to this video every once in a while, truly think it's one of the best Trolden videos ever. Test Subject was such a fun card to see people struggle with.
Same, even though it's almost 2024 I still enjoy these fun Boomdays days when such meme-ish deck like this, Towgaggle Druid, or OTK Pen Flinger become Tier 1 decks, and all are really skill-based
The editting for this video was really good :) Having the images of the new cards at the side for people to know what is going was a nice touch, and the whole Dog combo segment was awesome!
It isn't even a hard combo compared to grim patron. This requires no math, and is just mechanical. Once you get the muscle memory of it down, it is pretty consistent to pull off and a pretty good deck. Like tier 2 in hands of someone who knows what to do.
+Flame Fusion, every combo becomes mechanical after you've played it enough. Topsy does require Maths: whenever your hand count is higher than your cast count, and how many copies of certain cards and boars you need in relation to multiple taunts.
People seem to forget that Dog was probably the best Patron Warrior player in the world and pulling off winning turns with that deck was very much like this combo priest thing. He's is very good at this for sure.
3:40 But adding quest to the deck seemed like such a good idea... Or maybe not, not only it makes Mulligan worse, it also has antisynergy with the combo...
Youre playing a reckless experimenter and a bunch of deathrattles anyway, quest helps you to stay alive untill you can actually win with Mech'thun. The fact that he didnt have quest by the moment he was fatiguing either is an exeption (bad game, burned/lost his deathrattles) or that he added quest without playing non combo deathrattles, which is his personal mistake.
Well I mean there is a problem with Quest is that you have to play 7 deathrattles that are not combo pieces before playing the Hemet. For that you need to draw 7 deathrattles which are not combo pieces... which slows down that deck A LOT. Alternatively you may not play a Hemet, but the hole point of this combo is that no of the combo pieces get burned by Hemet.
Well, you either play it safe with the quest but have lower chances to pull of your combo, or go full combo with Hemet which makes you more vulneravle, but also gives more chances to win with cthun. Guess youre right, quest doesnt belong in this otk variation. Sorry
Savjz has been playing OTK with Hemet and quest, you just have to make sure to plan out when you can safely Hemet (and not just drop it as soon as you draw it 100% of the time) ie. count ok I have enough cheap deathrattles to finish the quest in my hand, NOW I can play Hemet. He can still go off on turn 11-12 pretty frequently, it's only slowed down by having to play the screams and Amara
also you need to either draw 2 or less cheap deathrattles or 7... which really limits your hemet usage... Though I managed to win on turn 13 today while having Hemet bottom of my deck... but I did some crazy pyro + northshire power draws...
That was actually insane, he shifted the combo so that he would end up with more nightmares because he knew he needed to get through more taunts. And he did that while still having enough of the normal combo to reach 32 dmg. All while making sure he didn't go over maximum hand size (by burning spells on the other minions). He is probably going to be the only pro player to bring topsy turvy to tournaments.
Kind of. Using too many spells on subject 1 can be an issue but players also just screw up which combo pieces they need and how many Test Subject kills they need to win. BTW it's not an Inner Fire deck hilariously. Just call it Topsy-Turvey deck or OTK Test Subject.
True. You can't dump more than a couple divine spirits on it. Otherwise it clogs your hand. And you want to remove all the vivid nightmares to guarantee a Topsy Turvy returns to hand.
I truly have respect dog for his ability to do the combo so efficiently. One of the only hearthstone streamers I feel actually fully utilize and create their own decks still. As well as can do decks that require high improvisation under stressful time constraints. All the others kind of either copy, net deck or just pathetic. Kripparian is also pretty good as well.
Haha. Such a great compilation of combo priest. This combo turn seems even more complicated to pull off that the pre nerf charging frosting berserker + grim patron !
I think I can actually see the electrical circuits flicker in his eyes as dog does this combo and got stuck for a couple of seconds. Unhuman confirmed.
That's why I love Dog. He's the guy you go to when you want complicated decks. He popularized mill rogue, always tried to make it work and here we are again. Math Priest.
i love the combo because it really shows who actually has some skills and who has none when they are doing it right without training it 100 times before stream
I'm kinda happy to see I'm not the only one having problems with the Topsy combo. It's like "only true masterminds can pull this off, you are not worthy"
Toast concedes in the clip at 7:30, but he actually has lethal with the boar, he has the power word: shield + 3 divine spirit, that make his 1/2 boar a 1/32, then he has just to use the Turvy to make it a 32/1 and win the game
Regarding that Priest OTK wombo-combo: I seem to recall at least a couple times when LifeCoach, a fellow infamous for making full use of each and every turn, was utterly screwed over by a sudden Nozdormu. It might just be that, in this brave new meta, Nozdormu might be a anti-OTK tech card, not unlike Loatheb way back in the day.
7:55 Между прочим, тут летал. Кабанчика 1\2 можно бафнуть до 1\16. Меняем местами атаку\хп, копируем, 16+16=32>21. Тост поддался стрессу и подарил победу.
7:57 was still lethal lmao - triple divine on the 1-2 boar to make it 16hp, flip it, vivid nightmare it, 32 damage. Could even make that 48 by vividing again.

Well dog backwards is god 8:29
That APM tho
David Bob Also completely destroying that smug shaman for thinking he won with the roping.
I came here just to write this :D, that smug shaman got annihilated
David Bob *he is*
kolento also made fast plays with that combo
Jesuuusss, dog makes it look so easyyyyy
DOG IS A FREAKING MACHINE!
8:01 so yeah dog is not a human confirmed. That’s actually insane
he's a dog, indeed
the problem with the combo is that most people just wanna go infinite, once people learn to manage their hands with this deck is scary af
UA-cam rank 1 legend viewers confirm this combo is very easy, so i'm not impressed.
Soulfire Shadow i didn't say it's easy
A lot of people explain that it’s easy.
What I want to know more is how top level players are screwing it up?
Are they overthinking it? Are they getting the order wrong? *Why?*
Ok, that dog "not that hard" part is my favorite of all times.
this is best trolden ep of all time
Neonomi здарова нео, согласен
Neonomi Nice to see you here, friend
Calm down
С подборки отк приста ржал как конь)
I agree
*Blizzard* - So, we have some new cards for the MOST LIKED heroes. You should be able to play and experiment.
*Priest* - Do I get some of those new cards?
*Blizzard* - Meh. You get math. Play with those.
Drake Alexander Most liked heroes?I mean i wouldnt call paladin exactly liked.
I now have a new form of respect for dog
Brosse Adam Yeah, especially he give us one pack
I think the deck is stupid and looks boring but holy crap if that isn't a high skill cap deck I don't know what is. I mean it isn't traditional hearthstone skill but it is some sort of skill

But Dog did this consistently on day 1, which is ridiculous.
Word for word, i was gonna comment this
Dog actually insane
Comment from 2152: Dog became The One Who Remains (its not that hard tho)
7:56 concede even tho he had lethal lol
Yeah I don´t think Toast´s goal was to win at that point. :/
yeah on stream he was explaining it widely on how he got it off 'easy' and now he had to try 'normal' mode before trying hard mode
For those who somehow don't see it: Power Word: Shield, triple Divine Spirit, Topsy Turvy. Even without the two Vivid Nightmares in hand, that's a 32/1.
Based Slav he wanted the combo LUL
dragonddarkPSN what are you talking about? He could still get like 3 boars with 20+ dmg, how is that not a combo?
nozdormu now a tech card
Who needs any other classic legendary. All you need is nozdormu
Nozdormu, I've Come To Bargain!
But am no Nozdormu. Am your friendly neighbour - Dragonhatcher!
Алексей Nozdormu i've come to bargain
Kat Reynolds, it was when exodia mage rules the meta. Its just returns now...
i ' m getting the feeling only dog knows how to pull of this combo
Either he has had some practice or his IQ puts Asian streamers to shame. :D
not now. Dog is insane because he's the first single persons (idk who's first tho), but most of the top player can put this combo out now. It needs more practice.
It needs a lot of practice. I can write it down no problem (that would take it's time), but actually playing it within 75 seconds without messing it up is very unlikely.
Actually Kolento streamed the deck and was pulling it off with less hesitation than dog. But he is kolento...
Andre Mello But we all just saw Kolento fuck it up in this video.
I come back to this video every once in a while, truly think it's one of the best Trolden videos ever. Test Subject was such a fun card to see people struggle with.
same
Same, even though it's almost 2024 I still enjoy these fun Boomdays days when such meme-ish deck like this, Towgaggle Druid, or OTK Pen Flinger become Tier 1 decks, and all are really skill-based
DOG IS GOD
And God is dog.
DOGOD
Dog is a very, very good boy, oh yes he is!
GODOG
That final highlight totally takes the cake. 😂
Alright dog is actually god, this is insane.
OhMyDog
The editting for this video was really good :) Having the images of the new cards at the side for people to know what is going was a nice touch, and the whole Dog combo segment was awesome!
Dog is a mad gentle genius! Also take off your shirt.
I love that compilation of people whiffing Test Subject.
Trump's 33 min vid of him failing the combo is probably the funniest bit of Hearthstone content I've watched
It isn't even a hard combo compared to grim patron. This requires no math, and is just mechanical. Once you get the muscle memory of it down, it is pretty consistent to pull off and a pretty good deck. Like tier 2 in hands of someone who knows what to do.

Funny
2:25 "Well Played"
"Calm down dude" *Squelshed*
Amaz is a real rank 24 player, so sad :((
Yami yama oh yes true😂
loved the last touch of showing Dawg doing even harder combo after these bunch of clowns :)
People seem to forget that Dog was probably the best Patron Warrior player in the world and pulling off winning turns with that deck was very much like this combo priest thing.
He's is very good at this for sure.

Dog просто сверхразум!
8:04 DOG -> GOD simple
Dog -> Topsy Turvy -> God
That dog's play is the best hearthstone play I have ever seen. Just perfection on speed and strategy.
That was actually insane, he shifted the combo so that he would end up with more nightmares because he knew he needed to get through more taunts. And he did that while still having enough of the normal combo to reach 32 dmg. All while making sure he didn't go over maximum hand size (by burning spells on the other minions). Wow and I dusted Luna lmao
Never dust legendaries, even if they are bad, you don't want to open them in a pack again
...but why?
But you can get duplicates?
You can't get duplicate Legendaries unless you already own every Legendary from that set.
I could've sworn I got a duplicate gromm once. Guess I was mistaken.
That new inner fire combo requires crazy APM while not messing it up. the most usual mistake is playing too many spells on the first test subject.
That Dog play made my jaw drop, ridiculous props.
Dog is like the guys that play Tetris so fast you can't even see the pieces falling.
8:58 watched this 3 times but only trolden gave me the perfect music
5:53
you can't know the pain before actualy manage to otk with this
We are finally there, Nozdormu counters the meta
Also Test Subject is the new Patron Warrior
Dog is A literal Hearthstone god.
The edit at 3:49 should get a youtube oscar
Haha toast had to make a guide for himself, step by step, how to correctly do the apm priest combo lol
And still fails lol
I truly have respect dog for his ability to do the combo so efficiently. One of the only hearthstone streamers I feel actually fully utilize and create their own decks still. As well as can do decks that require high improvisation under stressful time constraints. All the others kind of either copy, net deck or just pathetic. Kripparian is also pretty good as well.
that last Dog clip... That's the most impressive hearthstone turn i've seen in my life (after +3 years of gameplay)
oh my GUINNESS!
Haha. Such a great compilation of combo priest.
This combo turn seems even more complicated to pull off that the pre nerf charging frosting berserker + grim patron !
That dog clip is INSANE
That dog play was insane computing levels in his mind are off the charts
9:34 gotta love the emote "that was a mistake" because he forgot Nozdormu was in his deck
That one guy playing Nozdormu is a genius haha
3:34
"Behold, mortals! My divine fuck-up!"
THE MECHATHUN PRIEST WIFF KILLED ME
I think I can actually see the electrical circuits flicker in his eyes as dog does this combo and got stuck for a couple of seconds.
Unhuman confirmed.
now I feel so much better winning 6 out of 6 games with that deck without misplaying, thanks man
Просто орал с момента с комментариями и Тостом, спасибо за видос
That's why I love Dog. He's the guy you go to when you want complicated decks. He popularized mill rogue, always tried to make it work and here we are again. Math Priest.
i am so sure dog had laugh so hard at toast for trying his deck :D :D
he may be good at this deck, but the combo is not his creation. I'm sure many other players tried it day 1
6:22 is this BlizzardHell?
makes perfect sense if you're a computer
Alex 111 anti-toast system.
i love the combo because it really shows who actually has some skills and who has none when they are doing it right without training it 100 times before stream
Trolden, for real tho, you're music edits are pretty damn good.
I'm kinda happy to see I'm not the only one having problems with the Topsy combo. It's like "only true masterminds can pull this off, you are not worthy"
Dog is killin it man. Pogchamp.
7:58 was lethal though....tut tut Toast
There are two types of people in this world, there's amaz and then there's dog
other people :Hearthstone is not mechanically hard
me: 8:08
That one pack play is so sick!
10 whole minutes? Trolden you're spoiling us
What is a combo?
Other than a miserable pile of misplays?
So moral of this episode is that Dog is the only streamer competent enough to pull off the new priest combo deck.
i swear, dog is the best hearthstone player of all those streamers
Dog is a Beast! 200IQ dog!
The legendary engineer of the priest - dog!!!
i like the the "story time" touch
It seems dogs are the new superhumans
If we learned anything here.. amaz < trump/toast < dog
Nozdormu is now a legitimate counter to a meta deck, holy shit.
The clip at 5:30 where the music went SO DAMN WELL with what was happening
Toast concedes in the clip at 7:30, but he actually has lethal with the boar, he has the power word: shield + 3 divine spirit, that make his 1/2 boar a 1/32, then he has just to use the Turvy to make it a 32/1 and win the game
Выглядит, будто близы уже пожалели, что не отправили кобанчика в вольный)
Dog reks
Nozdormu. The perfect counter for OTK priest
8:07 is a real Lethal Puzzle
9:02 fking love this guy. Makes me wanna try the combo even though I thought it was cheap, seeing as how many people failed at it.
Gotta say Dog is just mental with that brain power and calculations!
Hahaha Torlk! L'escroc escroqué
mad respect for that dog play!
7:57 was lethal wtf toast xddd
Well Dog is the master of the Topsy Turvy Test Subject.
Google should throw away its supercomputers and hire dog.
When you see Firebat's video and see it as a clip on Trolden..... "Hey that looks familiar!"
Holy shit! Dog is so awesome!
Btw the opponent spam annoying emote, happy to see Dog beat him
Trolden proves dog is the best hearthstone player once again
Dog, never watch yours streams but, you gain my respect
Dude, Dog is from another planet
7:55 Между прочим, тут летал. Кабанчика 1\2 можно бафнуть до 1\16. Меняем местами атаку\хп, копируем, 16+16=32>21. Тост поддался стрессу и подарил победу.

That last one was hilarious lol
7:56 toast conceded with lethal in hand lmao
"ez combo" - someone who has seen the combo one time
3:23 He crafted the quest just before the game IQ > 1000
That Nitro Fun Final Boss sync
