What's dragging the country down is having a single party in control. Just look at the current slim majority in Congress. If you really want people to find the common ground, all votes on all items should be 66%. The defeated majority should be a minority of people, not roughly half. And if you can't pass it with 2/3 vote, it probably doesn't need to be passed.
How old are you? This is nothing new, been there done that many times over the last few hundred years - the only time it succeeded is when the Republican Party, which was brand new at the time won the 1858 elections
As an independent, the forward party is the first party I’ll consider joining.
im, georgist and i will join the forward party when i can to make rcv a thing
Because you’re a dopus maximus
Dooo iiittt!!!! We welcome all who want a better life for their family.
I voted for Ross Perot in 1992 Who ran as an independent...both parties, both media arms , and the same Sat Night live and talk shows bashed him 24 -7 ...this same power grab has been going on for all my life
The SNL skits were funny though.
Abolishing lobbyists would help greatly!!
The only way to do it you have to build a powerful lobby.
Yea they could use dog's to do the running around and anyone wanting to tip 😆can pay with cookies. Ha
Democracy dollars where Andrew yang purpose to give every Americans $100 and to donate to whoever candidates you like.If you don’t use it then you lose it.
The ENTIRE K St complex needs to be destroyed. No revolving doors allowed. Kirsten Sinema is a blatant current example of obvious pandering to land a cushy lobbyist job immediately after leaving Congress.
He mentioned giving the president and congress a raise so they don't have to turn to lobbyists. You can't get rid of lobbyists.
Yang is absolutely right. We need to make these changes or things are going to continue to polarize and fall apart.
lets go brandon!
I love Andrew Yang. He was the only one that can unite all parties.
By squirting whipped cream into the mouths of kneeling beta boys 😂
@@JV-tg2ne If that’s what turns you on, no judgement. Not everyone thinks your fetishes are what unite parties.

So, the system is corrupt so you 100% support a whipped cream squirting lunatic… hahahahahahahahahaha
Cavuto forgot Ross Perot but Yang didn’t! Yay, Yang! He’s right on point; we need a multi-party system. Yes, we need a non-partisan open primary system in all states.
All outsiders talk like this but it will never change
If ever there was a time to support Term limits it is now!
Unfortunately, term limits will only change the faces. The people who actually pull the strings are not the ones who are up for election. The MIC, Wall St, and the 1%, are still in control regardless of the figureheads that they trot out to "represent" us.

Yang is right... Again.
Even if he doesnt win, couple of decades down the line, people will eventually understand how stupid we were not listening to the most human candidate out there.
Con men are human.
UBI? Modern prison system?
Should’ve been Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang. This country would be dynamic and for the people! For humanity !
I fear we dont have decades.
This is what I liked so much about yang. I don't pay attention to stump speeches, I look at actions. Everything that Yang did before he ran and after is in line with his mission statement. He's not wrong. Our 2 biggest problems in this country is incentives and efficiency. He would have made a great president. Smh.
Yup, especially squirting whipped cream into the mouths of kneeling beta boys, purely presidential hahahahahahahha
@@JV-tg2ne lol I totally forget about that, it's funny people will overlook a lot when voting, selling out out to drug companies , having questional relationships with known pedophiles, pretending to make the working class a priority while getting rich a civil position and being just overall incompetent at their jobs, just a few examples, but a single cringe moment on the campaign trail, yeah that's a real breaker.
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this interview. Fantastic questions - open ended with time for Mr. Yang to respond. Andrew is also always a win!
Yang is still on a mission. This guy will jump into a lion's den if he thought it would help the cause. The most earnest and ballsy guy in politics.
He’s a wanna be frat boy who will never be cool, he’s a loon
Great conversation:. We need this to spread across the USA. 2 Guys from opposite. POVs that can actually have an adult, constructive, forward-thinking dialogue. And, actually find strong common ground.
Knowing that Bernie wanted Yang in his cabinet makes me furious and also explains why the DNC wanted them both out
I agree 100%. I've felt this way my entire "voter" life. This two-party system must die. This idea of closed primary must end. I truly enjoyed the introduction of rank choice voting this year in New York. I wished it was open to all the races. There needs to be an opportunity for new thoughts to enter the chat. The partisan structure of our government will be the end of our government.
Wow, what wisdom you have lol, 250 years and counting of something that ain’t going nowhere 😝
Thanks for sharing this interview with Andrew Yang. His perspectives on the 2 party system make a lot of sense.
I am a big fan of his ideas on primary elections and tax policies. I'm ready to switch to his new party.
Bernie lite hahahahahaa
You know nothing lol just research Europe lol wow
YANG 2024
Hahahahahaahhaahahaaaha 😝
Amazing Interview, kudos to Cavuto. Honest and open dialogue, this is the type of conversations that bring change.
Its not the amount for the infrastructure its the fact that only about 10% is for and the rest on other stuff...
A lot more of it than 10% is going to critical infrastructure. HOWEVER, there is a massive tax cut for those making over a mil a year in there as well costing us around 300b/yr., which is very stupid.. Really we should have been spending 20x more on infrastructure, though. It's a massive ROI in terms of economics. Really a no brainer.
Everything Mr yang said came true... We need rank choice voting and block chain transparency for voting. People are being screwed by the 2 party system. Both parties are run by corporations.
I have said the two party system has failed America for years!Look out for the American people and set in motion term limits!Start by taking care of American's first!
You miss the pike of 💩 in the middle of the room, it isn’t the two party system, it’s the permanent bureaucracy administrative state that is like a giant all consuming blob that politicians feed hoping to appease it so it doesn’t eat them too
I'm a big fan of Yang's, but neither the Democrats nor Republicans will give up a single ounce of their power...even until the end of humanity and our sun super-novas
I was worried Yang had got too caught up in the woke mob, but it seems like he’s still the same intelligent guy I absolutely loved in 2020. Hope he stays that way and finds his way into politics again.
We need no parties just people who want to serve
Jesse Ventura suggested that years ago.
@@merph1s the Pattie’s are to strong and corrupt
They have that in China.
It works for the average citizens.
America doesn't have the culture to support it.
@@misterhill5598 as a former Chinese i don't think that's true though. It's still a one party system and people in that party are not really people who want to serve. Sure there also are good intended ones who join the party and become gov officials to serve but that percentage may be low. Most are in it for their own livelihoods, just like any other job. One thing they do right is even if the individuals are corrupt, they are still under constant pressure to show some KPIs / work metrics to justify their position, and no amount of sweet talk / marketing can help them if they don't have concrete results to show.
@@puyangma5345 you are describing parts of the Chinese government but not itself. The word party means differently in the west and in China.
The systems in the west and system in China really are different.
China is not a 1 party system.
China has 1 government with 9 parties.
Let's pick an example: what is the equivalent of the NPC and the 2 sessions in other countries?
I love me some Andrew Yang. He's got some great ideas that I feel would help with this partisan system that has overstayed its welcome.

Please vote for hi if you see his name on the ballot.
"Want to do what's best for the country"....... Novel Idea.
And unfortunately everything he espouses is BAD for any country
The way Andrew was greeted by Neil Cavuto is so much better than many occasions on other MSM. I see no reason why Andrew would attend more interviews on Fox especially now that he is an independent.
Cavuto knows if Yang ran as a 3rd party candidate, it would hurt the Dems. Yang is just one more in a long line of scammer scumbags.
use your brain. andrew was in direct competition with democrats not republicans. to republicans, andrew is just a cute, wacky idea guy that poses them no threat. if you're a democrat and you felt like andrew was taking votes away from your guy you wouldn't be friendly to him either. now, genius, go ahead and tell me how Fox or other conservative news sources roll out the red carpet for Liz Cheney

Ban lobbyists, ban political donations, term limits.
The problem is rampant corruption. More and more people are noticing and identifying it and feeling mighty sorry for some that are might sorry.
You mean "pork" or something else?
You can't demand a "liberty" at the expense of other people. That's why we have a system of laws, just because you choose to drink and drive doesn't mean we're "taking your liberty", we're protecting citizens. Just because we require a mask doesn't mean it's a plot to end democracy. There is no forced vaccine injection; if you don't want to get one, you don't have too...But you can't fly overseas, you can't go to a concert, and you can't keep your job if your employer is more worried about killing his other workers and you won't play ball. BTW, name me one thing Biden's done that's "corrupt"?
“Are you gonna run again”
Yang: “¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IDK But here’s an answer that will give you goosebumps”
Yang would have been a great candidate. I actually thought a high percentage of conservatives could back his fiscal policies. He rocked his first debate and in the second debate his microphone kept mysteriously shutting off when he went to speak. He would get 8 or 9 words outs and no one could hear him so someone else would start talking. It happened at least three times. I am not one for conspiracy theories but it looks really bad.
Term limits solves the problem
That doesn't do much. If the system is rotten then changing the face of corruption isn't a huge difference. Elections are term limits.
@@theuglykwan ofcourse it does. When politicians like Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell can't be in office 30 to 40 years their power and corruption is limited

There are several legitimate parties, they have been around for a long long time. The problem is that the majority of Americans ignore all but two of them.
Agreed, you can thank the media and the money.
It used to be that our two party system and primary process surfaced moderate candidates. With exceptions, today it does not. Maybe this isn't his goal, despite being a centrist, but I'm not convinced that open primaries would allow thoughtful and pragmatic candidates to win.
