The woman really ran in the dark, saw a black van speed ahead of her, stop abruptly, and she still ran towards the van. There was no helping her tbh. I’m not even a woman but whenever I’m running in the dark, I’m glancing behind me every so often and whenever I hear/see a car, I note it and brace myself. It also helps to be sharing your location with people while on your run and I carry a baton with me to run. I live in a relatively safe suburb mind you and I see others running/walking as well, but you can never be too careful.

All ended well as I remained constant vigiliant, avoided confrontation, and was ready to fight or flight my way out of there.
Maybe don't make yourself look like an easy target by dressing in revealing clothes. It's her fault she had a habit of jogging in the dark in one of the most dangerous cities in America.

This is what happens when you go easy on criminals. This guy was originally sentenced to 24 years but was released early, only serving 20 two years ago. This girl would still be alive, two children would still have their mother, a husband would still have his wife and her parents would still have their daughter. He was out on parol and if his parol officer was doing his job he would have seen that this turd was also breaking the conditions of his parol by posting pictures to his Facebook page with him, a felon, in possession of illegal firearms and narcotics and he should have had his parol revoked and sent back to prison. If the system would have worked the way it was supposed to have, he wouldn't have been out to commit this crime and she would still be alive.

We need restorative justice, this poor man was another victim of the school to prison pipeline as explained by Mrs Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. We failed him by allowing the private prison industry to continue for so long. Nobody would care about the young lady involved if she was not a white woman of privelege and because of her this man will likely never have a chance to resume a normal life.

This is what happens when you go easy on criminals. This guy was originally sentenced to 24 years but was released early, only serving 20 two years ago. This girl would still be alive, two children would still have their mother, a husband would still have his wife and her parents would still have their daughter. He was out on parol and if his parol officer was doing his job he would have seen that this turd was also breaking the conditions of his parol by posting pictures to his Facebook page with him, a felon, in possession of illegal firearms and narcotics and he should have had his parol revoked and sent back to prison. If the system would have worked the way it was supposed to have, he wouldn't have been out to commit this crime and she would still be alive.
