- Hello and welcome back to The Manhattan Project build.
In this episode I get the body on the chassis, begin modifying the front suspension for air bags, source an engine and transmission, and get them mounted to the car.
Thanks for watching.
Getting down love it 47 fleetlines are the best
Wow wat the best video.love the detail.ur very talented bad as fleetline
Amazing work! Those upper bag mounts look incredible!
Thanks Bill!
100% agree with the 6 banger .
Great stuff dude!!
Love rthe inline 6 idea. I have a 292 wih a 12 port Sissel head, strong cam train and side draft Webers. Shifts at 7800 RPM. How about 10.33 in 1420 ft 1/'4 drag strip?
I wish the previous owner of the 49 fleetline I bought stayed with the og straight instead of the the 327 they slapped in but im making the most of it.....love the deatail in your video good stuff 👍
Thanks Gilbert. Nothing beats the sound of a straight six in these 40's cars, but a reliable engine of any sort will let you enjoy your classic!
@@OMCbuilt very true as long as you have a reliable engine....are you going to be posting the whole project on the fleetline i bet its going to look bad ass
@@gilbertguzman531 Yes the whole project will be featured on the channel. I have about 10-12 episodes worth of video waiting to be edited - I am months ahead of where the series is at now. The next two episodes are already uploaded but not published. I drop the videos on Mondays in the afternoon. Thanks for watching.
@@OMCbuilt thats koo i like the detail you put in your videos im planning on buying a 46-48 fleetline soon hope you dont mind if i use your same method that you are using cause im going to want my car laying on the rockers to and if theres any tips you can help me out withI hope you dont mind me asking you maybe exchange emails if thats koo with you and much props from out here in Cali.
@@gilbertguzman531 Of course, anything you need to know just ask!
*Bling-ambassadors were amazing! Need some Mike Servin to bless it
OH MAN! I'll get him in the next video!
Good day, what is that manual steering rack out off.
It's just a Mustang II rack.
@@OMCbuilt many thanks.
where can i find the upholstery cloth that is on your seat, i've looked everywhere, ordered a few samples nothing matches
No idea Cecilio, that is the original fabric.
Where you get the rockers from?
They are a homemade deal that was on there when I got it. Mostly original rocker with some 1/8" flat stock welded in to patch it up. I'll be making and replacing the entire rocker from scratch when the car comes back apart for body and paint. Thanks for watching.
@@OMCbuilt ah ok got it
the end🤣
90 4x4 s10 differential right brother
Yes, any 4x4 rear end from those years S10 will be the correct width
@@OMCbuilt you are my new superhero
Will a 2001 rearend work
In a 42-48 Fleetline a 4WD (non ZR2) S10 rear axle from 1983-2004 should fit up great. The 2WD is too narrow and the ZR2 4WD is too wide.
Actually I am "Old Man Clemens". You are just a younger version.
You blew it she got a V6 power and mileage
What?
I can hear the rod knock I
Sure thing bud
couldn't continue watching because of annoying soundtrack.
