Love old skool vans and cars when they get a bit of love from some 1 who loves what they do makes all the differance to the end result tony you are amazing in what you do and teach 👍👍👍👍👍
Hats off I've done them and they never ending cost for customer is endless u need a meddle customer cannot even begin to understand the work that is needed that is one of harder ones shit over shit 👍
Tony great video as always. As a painter myself I love watching your stuff. Nobody else puts together good information like you do. Keep up the quality..
Nice work After the first of next year I'm done I've sold my house and shop it's time to enjoy the easy life after more years than I can count so I figured the only way to get out of it for sure is to sell everything that way I'm truly done 😂 Might miss it after a while but age is kicking my but at this point seven days a week months on end gets old after a while.
Hi Tony really enjoyed the premier and live chat last night there seemed to be quite a few on last night so I hope it went well for you. Another great video mate, that's a big tip size for high build I'm surprised it didn't go on to heavy even though it is a thick primer out of the tin but you obviously know it's limits, I've only used the 634 a couple of times using my 1.8 FLG so seeing this I'm wondering if I should put the 2.0 tip in the gun. I tried the Kapci 6050 again today using my WS400S2 and got on a lot better with it as I laid it on a lot heavier than the one in the pics I sent you, I can't believe it didn't run tbh as I mixed up more clear than usual and still used it all😆really liking it so far👌👍
Hi Tony thanks for your latest video on mental health it helps me relate to my son who suffers from CPTSD Quick question though, when you paint a vehicle with the doors closed like this camper or the McLaren how do you mask off the door/bonnet/boot surrounds? Thanks
thanks clive and hope he is doing ok mate , so for primer like in this video ive not done anything as any overspray is fine but for a final paint il use door foam or advanced foam from 3m for clean lines ect
I love when you have a classic car in the shop! Curious though...when you have a large vehicle like this to spray, how do you decide where on the vehicle to start? I'm thinking that by the time you make it all the way around the vehicle the place you started would have flashed off more than a little bit...
it will with primer i guess but its no issue mate tbh as with primer a longer flash off is a good thing between coats really as itll stop it pulling in as much and shrinking ect
You are doing a great job of our van Tony, we are so super pleased with the results and seeing the videos, thanks mate
