Lumnah Acres kinda new to the channel loving it so far do you hunt also? And if so deer? And store the meat ? Just wondering
I know it is kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to stream new tv shows online?
Al it looks like you have some great helpers!! It seems like they are enjoying their time at the farm. I love to see the younger generations getting involved in farming. We need more people like you and the other homesteaders!!!
what a great opportunity for you young nephew to spend some time with you guys and to participate in your farm life. I am sure he is gathering many valuable experiences which will put him in good stead for the future. I salute your endless energy Al. Watching the whole family working together in harmony is wonderful
Al, you are a working machine. You accomplish more than anyone else, that I have watched, on U-tube. I love your videos and admire you and your family. TFS. GOD BLESS
The older of your nephews is proving to be a great farmer in the making, he is picking up what you do so well and seems to be a natural with the animals (he wasn't scared of the hens last time getting eggs out from under them).
I am looking forward to the vids of another though smaller barn build.
Two thumbs up on the delivery footage of the shed kit, Al. Never knew that a tow motor could be attached to the back of a flatbed truck like that. Wow! Bless you for sharing every moment of your projects. I can't take my eyes off what you do. You rock!
Forklift is a *Moffett Mounty* Moffett Company was founded by Cecil Moffett in 1945 in Clontibret, Ireland. The Irish are a clever lot.
This is going to be a very pretty wood shed. I like how you've planned for the bldgs. to all have the same look with the rough sawn siding and the green metal room. Makes an impressive sight. Looking forward to this build. Your oldest nephew has really taken to the chores right down to your mannerisms. I'll bet you are really going to miss them when they go back home. What stories they are going to have to share with their friends. Have a Blessed day.
I always love it when you get a new building project. Your enthusiasm is present in your face and voice! Your nephew is beginning to be comfortable in front of and behind the camera. You may have just gained a great farm helper for Summers to come!
So much excitement around the homestead! It is nice your nephews are there. They are a big help. They fit in so quickly. You need a son! lol The woodshed and carport is an exciting adventure. Love and blessings.
Looking forward to seeing that big lego set put together. I will be nice for this winter to have a nice dry location for the wood. It must be nice to have those two young men helping out around the farm. You're teaching them some good skills and creating fond memories for them as well.
You are amazing, everything you do is so well-planned! Olivia's getting a bit of a break, she'll miss her cousins when they go home!
So much fun watching the shed kit delivered! Laughing -your small branch trim!! Love seeing your nephews out helping. Later as grown men fond memories of the Homesteading progression .😀
Out of all the homesteader farms i have to say yours is much better organizer and cleaner. =) Love the Barn can't wait to see the New Build.
@Angela Sargent ,
Yes , Al is well organized. And he pays close attention to the details .
Glad the kit arrived. Got to love that forklift. Glad your nephews are enjoying themselves. Those memories will last a lifetime. Thanks for sharing guys.
It's so nice to see a family who work and play together. Such hard workers and your place is coming together well. I watch you to remember what a family is suppose to look and act like. Thanks for sharing your norm.
Al it's Great seeing your nephews visiting and helping out on the farm. When I was young I used to go to a great uncle's farm in the summer. Great experiences!!
Good job on the tree pruning! Most people do not know that branches should be cut flush with the tree and no 'wound sealer' should be applied. The exact opposite was the recommendation for many, many years, and that's how many people learned. Cant wait to see how this kit goes together! I'm still working on my first project -- no roof yet. Time to get moving before winter sets in!
Wood shed kit looks great. Shout out to the cousins on the awesome job they are doing around the farm.
Your nephews have learned the routine in their visit. Bet they will miss not only you, Gina and Olivia but the farm and animals. Can't wait to see the wood shed come together.
Your nephews sure are fitting into your farm. You need to tell their folks you appreciate the extra help and hope they are enjoying the time they spend with you.
Man! They have the coolest ways of unloading those kits! Can’t wait to see it come together!
The Forklift was a *Moffett Mounty* The Moffett Company was founded by Cecil Moffett in 1945 in Clontibret, Ireland. Clever people the Irish!!!!
I watched one of those come loose and fall off the back of a truck at 70+ mph near Sikeston MO one time. Luckily traffic was light and nobody got hurt except the tri wheeler. Found out later that apparently he had unloaded at a construction sight and punctured a hole in each front tire. That caused the front tires to deflate and somehow that caused the securing straps to fall off. Not sure how true that explanation was but he was hauling for our local Lowe’s store. I have a good friend who works there and he told me that’s what happened and the driver still drives for them.
So much fun to watch them deliver your new wood shed. Love their huge toys. bet they do too. Also enjoy every one pitching in to help get things done.
Like seeing the children being interested in farming. They are good with animals and in the garden. Happy shed build, I am really looking forward to it,
So excited about more construction going on. Slowly but surely a great farm building up. Nice to see the kids seeing what goes on and being outdoors.
I can't wait to see your firewood shed go up. I love watching you build things. My grandfather was a wonderful carpenter and he was as precise are you are in building. I love it.
The first episode I watched of Lumnah Acres was the day the equipment was arriving to clear the pasture. Several episodes later you were walking the newly cleared land and talking about how bony it is. Today you took us to a spot full of bones and branches. *The
Lumnah Acres version of an elephant🐘 graveyard.. ☮
Those kids are making memories for a lifetime. Take care
It's good to see the parents teaching the young kids good Work Ethics. My dad had us working and cooking and baking things at a very young age of around the age of 10
What a wonderful opportunity to share your skills with your nephew. He seems to be enjoying himself. The experience will prove invaluable.
Another awesome addition for the homestead. I know Gina is going to LOVE having her car under shelter when the snows fly! Blessings from NE Missouri!
Those boys are have a lovely time - I grew up on a farm - between the two brothers farming they had 7 kids I was the only girl and it was lots of fun and alway something to do and animals
I think the boys are really enjoying the farm like Al. They might not want to leave. lol They have really taken to farm life well. I love that the shed showed up, can't wait to watch you build it. And I love seeing them unload these kits. It's amazing at what they can do anymore. No fall weather here yet. Still in the mist of a heat wave. I know many will be welcoming fall weather when it comes, it is what follows that I dread. Things are really coming together Al!
So excited!!!!! Nothing more calming than watching a building go up! Love it!! The farm is coming along so nice!!
That new shed is going to add to the looks and order of things. A place for everything and everything in its place. Looking for ward to the new build.
So exciting!!! Love watching the one guy unload your shed.
Your new helper seems to enjoy being on your homestead... There is something about being on a farm that stays with you the rest of your life.
Thank you for bring us along on your journey. God bless.
Looking forward to seeing you build !!! Are the boys learning how much work there is in farming !!! And how much fun it is !!! The unloading was amazing ,,,!!!
Having your nephew around has been a very nice added attraction. Tell him we have appreciated having him in the streams.
You're gonna miss the nephews at chore time! I love that you share the machines with us!
Looking forward to the upcoming build!
I'm so proud of you sharing your knowledge with the younger generation, I've ask many children where there food comes from, they reply the grocery store. They have no knowledge where it is raised
enjoyed watching the unloading of the kit, down to a science. your older nephew looks like he is enjoying homesteading, helping with all the chores.
Hello from Iceland. I love your channel and iwe been binge watching your videos. Its satisfying to watch the precision and care you apply to every task
Great to see kids involved in homesteading instead of phones. More kids need to do this. Bet these boys will cherish this memory.
It seems like your summer just started and it is almost fall already! But, in that short time you sure have accomplished a TON of work! Excited to see this shed go up. Blessings to all.
Project idea for next year, build a 3 or 4 bin compost center. In your case make bins large enough to get tractor bucket in, leaves turning the compost much easier.
Gary Moncrieff ours is made of homemade chain link sections, 8x8 feet, with two 4 foot gates to empty it.we fill from the top, unload every other year
Love how happy you are to get Another building project!! Look forward o watching this build especially as your a pro now to their system, having built the barn
Congrats Gina on being home fulltime, life is good!!! It's always nice watching you both working together.
When I roll over at first lite in the morning, I grab my phone to see what your all up to for the day. Thank you for sharing your Amazing Inspirational LIFESTYLE with us. Al your a multi talented man , and your homestead shows it.
Amazing. One guy to deliver and unload.
I love when on a jobsite a moffet comes im. You know its a really cool feeling seeing the material delivered onto the job site or house.
Cat't wait to see the new build. Seeing a lot more of Gina. Glad shes poping in more often
Oh the nephews are so cool. You finally got some kids who "get" it. Looking forward to the build.
I'm excited. Another build project. Can't wait to get started.
This is so awesome! The boys and Livy are getting to learn and experience a lot of different aspects of the homesteader life and culture. I think that it is so important to teach the next generation how to survive without screens and others to do things for them. I can't wait to see the new woodshed get started, I have a really good feeling about this project. 🙂 God bless and keep you all.
Your nephew is a natural at farm chores. Awesome job!
I have enjoyed watching the barn construction from beginning to present. I will now enjoy watching as you use your expert skills in building the wood shed. I’m such a frustrated carpenter. Can’t even put a birdhouse together. Thank you for sharing this experience.
Yes, yes, yes! Can’t wait to see the new build! Another building to wrap my mind around while you build it.
Farm is looking mighty nice!
Hi Al,Gina Olivia & boys,so excited for your new build.Have a great tomorrow!! 😊
Considering all the time I spend measuring twice and making cuts, that kit would be a massive time saver.
Thanks for a great segment.
What another great project !!! Looking forward to the wood shed build.
So good to see the kids out experiencing the life of Homesteading. Instead of sitting in the house on the couch with their games!
You're going to miss all the help you had with the boys. It was nice to see them get into the homestead. I'm sure Olivia enjoyed the company too. Looking forward to the build. You're very impressive when it comes to that. Until tomorrow Al. Hi Gina!
Hard working family u got there Al.
Gooooooood Morning Al ,
Well , that forklift mounted on the back of the trailer is the cat's meow ! What a useful tool / machine ! With that forklift the load can be removed , no muss no fuss. And then placed where ever you need it .
I just caught a glimpse of the photo of the wood shed. That is going to be a very good looking wood shed. Now for the pleasure of watching you put it together.
well you have my hubby poised on the edge of his recliner waiting for tomorrow's video-we were small holders, but now retired, so this is remembering for us and enjoying seeing your progress.Really enjoy the interaction and your family working on this together. You are a Blessing to us too :)
Good mauhnin Al! That is going to be one handy dandy woodshed! I like it! Glad the boys are still with you and got to see the delivery! What an experience they are having with you guys. Your little stand in did a great job.😃 looking forward to the next build. Till then, take care !
So happy to see your nephews helping you with chores. And so looking forward to the wood shed.
Al, I watched you build your post and beam barn with such pleasure, so I'm excited about your new building project.
Woo! New build project! I browsed just about every product Jamaica Cottage Shop sells and love them all. I can't wait until it's my turn to build some stuff.
We have decided to order from these folks next spring for our vacation cabin rentals on our little homestead.
I’m glad it’s there too.. I’m excited!!! Love the flow of the buildings
I think I heard Al humming "I'm in heaven" as the shed was being unloaded. Another wood building g project on the docket. Screws. Air gun. Time alone. Does life get any sweeter?
That fork lift was impressive. Have fun, Al.
Good morning Al, Gina, Olivia, and Nephews! Have fun building your wood shed.
Another great video! Loved the tree work! Fun seeing how the forklift works! Gina is going to be an expert with the tractor soon! I’m in East Tennessee and our leaves are beginning to turn, too!💕
Jamaica cottage’s are the best. The pre cut kits make building so easy. Our third shed is getting delivered next month!!
Nice job with the chain saw, seemed like it was cutting much better! Anxious to see the wood shed go up!
Okay! And so it begins! Now seeing which one you chose and that you're going to leave the door off it makes sense. All the prep is done!( No leaves for the goats.) And it's time to see something grow out of your hands again!!! 💓💛💚💙💜
WooHoo! Another build project! Awesome! Fun day! Great video! Thanks Al and Gina!
I hope you went around the meat birds cage, after moving it, before leaving it. In the bottom right corner of the video there's an opening below the cage at 24:40
Your nephew is a great helper there. I hope that he can help you with the new building.
I would have thought that you would give the goats all of the tree limbs that had leaves on them.
May God bless you and your family
Yea another build . Looking forward to see it come together . Certainly didn't take long for the boys to learn the routine . Extra helping hands is nice .
Can't wait to see you doing your thing again. Building that is. I'm ready for winter! Been mid to upper 90's for several days with high humidity in southern VA!!
Enjoying the farm with added family.... Nice the cousins get to learn farming.....
Can't wait for the build.
Much love always
Looking good Lumnah family can't wait to see the build begin. Have a blessed day.
I ADMIRE YOUR TALENT and DETERMINATION. KEEP RECORDING
INFORMING, EDUCATIONAL, and FUN
Nice to see your apprentices having fun on the farm and learning something
I am looking forward to watching the new build! I'm also happy you won't be 2 stories up in the air! ;)
Second large project of summer...
Boys seem to be enjoying themselves..
Have a wonderful day 🌻🌻
Looking forward to watching you build your wood shed. Love your videos 😊 never stop!👍😊
Like you said Al, things are coming together, slowly but surely....so awesome!
The goats would have loved to eat the leaves from those branches.
Love all the hard work yous do on your homestead, and how you teach others how to build and garden and care for livestock too. Thank you for sharing!
Glad your wood shed kit arrived. Hoping you'll share some of those tree branches for the goats - they love munching on them. Liked your nephew being a mini-me today with his "Morning modern Steaders. lol I had neve seen how the delievery of skids like that are unloaded. That was awesome. Never saw a tractor like that. Interesting to watch.
Good morning! Fort Nelson BC Canada got snow over the weekend. My dad always said when Edmonton Alberta get their first snow fall we are about a month later and it always seems to work out that way. So I'm hoping Alberta doesn't get any snow for many more months. 🙂 Great job nephew #1 you're doing a great job helping around the farm. Have a wonderful day! 🇨🇦
That’s early
Great job Al! We got the roof on our woodshed this week, now to do the siding. I have got quite a few great ideas from you!
Yup, fall is coming. It only got to 91 degrees today...[snicker]. That's pretty good for here in northern Florida. I'm glad you got the shed kit today, it will give us a new project to watch you build. After the barn/shop build, I expect you to have this done in 2.5 days...
The truck driver totally amazed me! I have a hard time backing up into my garage. Can't imagine driving a rig like that. WOW!
I can just imagine with all of those large rocks you have they would be perfaect to line and surround a nice pond. I hope someday you're able to build one.
Enjoying your videos and happy that your subscribers seem to be gaining more rapidly latley. I have a good feeling that this time next year... You'll be around 400k subcribers! Thanks for sharing your lives with the rest of us. God Bless you all.
It's amazing how well your nephew is doing. He's going to homestead for sure.
This one you have to get done before the snows come. No storing piles of good lumber over the winter. Good luck!!
It still amazes me how the wood used to build your barn could have something from the acreage you had cleared in it. I can't wait to see the wood shed build. I love watching things be built from nothing to finish.
Perfect spot for the delivery. Close to the building site and still able to get around it. Can't wait!
I bet the goats sure would love to have all of those leaves!!!
Ours always did.
