Love that short approach turning from downwind to final abeam the numbers - that's how we rock the power off landings in the Stearman!
Thanks bud, I see a few fans noticed your cool patch! Easter Egg was spotted.
+FlightChops I know you notice that FlightChops sticker!
+steveo1kinevo Hi, what's about your new second channel?
+Marek Czarnecki (XaviatoR) it's there but I don't really know how much I will post on it. Maybe in the future.
+FlightChops +steveo1kinevo Such a beautiful short final and right on the markers. Well done. Have a look on my channel in flew the Citation CJ1+ and made a video compilation. If you enjoy, u could leave a thumbs up :)
Great camera work. Loved the power board circular coverage of TBM850 prior to flight. The extra effort you put into the sequencing of shots and music makes your channel one of my favorites. It doesn't hurt that you included
Sonia in this video either.
Steve, in the Air Force a quick short landing was known as a "tactical landing". Good for avoiding the bad guys. I enjoy your vids. all the best, Bob
I love when you fly with Sonia. Thanks for the great videos.
Flying has become second nature to you. I'm envious. I took flying lessons but didn't have the confidence in myself to handle any situation. I let my fear win. Love your videos.
Wow! I was having pizza hanging out at Hollywood beach late Friday afternoon and I saw you zoom by!!! This videos confirms it.
Steve. Love your videos. You are a great natural pilot. I've got to say the videos are even better when you have a cute girl with you. Makes for good scenery and better conversation.
Best wishes and keep those approaches short. Love it!!
You said the short approach is fun but as soon as you said it I though it's something I should do to so I can get use to keeping in close for circling approaches. I don't think we practice those enough. Love the videos. Thanks.
FlightChops Patch on the panel! I love it!! Haha
Its funny how Im subscribed to FlightChops, steveo1kinevo, and yourself. and when i noticed the patch i was looking through the comments for somebody else that noticed and sure enough it was another youtuber that Im subscribed to who had noticed.
+Adam Swallow your not the only one. Lol
Yeah I noticed it right away...lol...love it!
A pretty beach view and a beautiful copilot means it's a great day in the office. Throw in a personalized 'shout-out' from the air traffic controllers and it just got even better. Keep up all the great work man!
Each video just keeps getting better than the last! Glad to see Dr. Sonia.
I vote she be called Doctor Sonia rather than Dirty Bird Sonia moving forward. Who is with me?
Happy to hit your Patreon, anyone who puts so much effort into high quality vids deserves a little thank you, plus your videos have probably saved me hundreds in my own flight training. Rock on Steveo!
Your videos are beautifully produced and edited. Thanks for the great free entertainment!
Quick and great - like it when you have guests.
So fun watching shot approaches.
I didn't spot the FlightChops sticker/pin until 6:00.
Good to see Soni too.
That's so cool that clearance noticed you! Awesome!
LOL nice Flightchops patch on the dash!
+wipeoutguy Just noticed it too!
+wipeoutguy You are the winner of spotting the Easter Egg! Congrats!
+steveo1kinevo way to easy =D. You guys really should go for some float training. Maybe you finally get to wear shorts in your Bahamian aviation future.
+wipeoutguy noticed as well. I have one right here on my desk from meeting him at SNF. One day I will meet Stevo1kinevo.
+wipeoutguy - :)
Love the Snapchat updates. As soon as you put some of your footage up on there, I knew this vlog would be a huge step up. Great editing on this one, Steve!
I love the snapchat updates as well :)
Steveo, as always great video. Offer Sonia your hand when she exits the airplane and make sure you wear a helmet when riding your bike. We want you around for awhile.
Nice to have Sonia along!
Thats awesome haha. You're famous steve! I used to fly out of FLL and would hear you every once in a while.
Man.....you've got the plane.....you've got the girl......you've got the bike. You're living the dream!
Good to see Sonia back..:-) The low in the gulf is stuck...not good beach visits from here,
That TBM is a beauty. I enjoyed your 360 spin around. I would love to see some closeups of the exterior details.
Lol, ATC- "I have a question" I would have never guessed that was the question.
+Jon Netbotic Yea, I need to come back to Fort Lauderdale. Flying is always sweet there.
classic..... I'd have thought he'd have got a better transition than at or below 500' (shows how rusty my knowledge test stuff is....I thought 500' was the minimum over water). There should be some discretion.... if you're going to be at that altitude for an hour, there's a roughly 1:9000 chance you're going to end up in the water with most single engine planes (not the tbm)
+davet11 I thought it was over a vessel, structure, "entity" over open water?
+Rob M You are correct. 500' from any vessel, structure, or person.
+davet11 Actually, legally, you can skim the water if you want as long as you stay 500 away from "things" (as pointed by other posters).
Lived right there in Miami Lakes once upon a time, long long ago.
Soloed on 9R on 1-7-72..... Btw, I use to do those SAME approaches with the B-727's,
into the Freight Hubs At night, IF they said OK...!! Love it 😍
As an older Aussie who wished he'd been able to take up flying decades ago your videos give me a bit of a fix, to satisfy my aviation cravings. Thanks
You guys make for an interesting flight pair for the audience to join with in the cockpit . . . thanks to both of you.
I love how every video includes.....
"Thanks for being with us today; how's everyone out there doing today? Doing well?......(pause)
...."Good, good, glad to hear it"
I liked that short trip you did to Opa Locka, I saw the hotels , but that approach you did at Opa Locka was real steep, but you maintain you professionalism at landing. Keep the videos coming.
That's so cool how ATC asked if they were on the video!
Ya might have some Carrier Pilot in you. "Why do I do it? Because it's fun!" Love it.
Loving that flight chops sticker! You have the best job ever, I'm so jealous as a low time instructor.
Great vid. VFR along the beach is a blast, and hello to our two favorite UA-cam stars.
Rgds........Ski & Cathy
That circling the plane is MAD
Your vlogs bring back such great memories of flying in Florida. It's awesome to see inspirational videos like these. Thanks
Steveo thanks for another great video. . , so cool atc people follows your videos and asked if you were filming . ., I'm a big fan from Mexico, keep more of your videos coming . .!!
Thanks Steveo and Sonia for the video all the best thanks .
Fantastic .... love your videos Steveo thanks so much for all your work..!
Another great video! I agree, short approaches are fun as hell. If you ever find yourself at KLEE, let me know. I'd love to see N851TB up close.
Ha! I just noticed the flightchops sticker on your dash, that's a nice touch. I really enjoyed this video, it was simple and short, and had some really cool views.
Nice, I needed to see a short approach relaxed like you did.
She's a keeper. Likes flying, taking videos, and she is smart as a whip. Teach her to ride the boggy board and motorcycle and you two could make sweet music together. (she's a doll too!)
Hello Sonia! Hello Steveo! Nice video, I always look forward to them. The bonus footage is good for a laugh. One of these days, those Ladies will get that board down. Thank you!
Awesome flight buddy. Hope you are well. Take care and safe flying philip.
Great as always! So cool to hear that the guys at FLL are fans... Good to see Sonia again.
That moment, when you are so famous that even ATC recognizes you.
hahaha at 7:36
Sweet landing!! Love the Flight Chops sticker! Together with him, and Guido Warnecke you make the best pilot vids. Happy flying!
Another excellent video as usual!!! Photography and flying my passion as well!! I can get ENUFF your videos!! I wish I cud b a passenger as well!!!
Excellent short approach Steve, keep it up.
always learning with Steve and his videos.
Hey steve. Just wanted to say Thank you.. Its individuals like you, FlightChops and all those other aviation enthusiast that inspire and motivate individuals like myself to follow their dream.
I passed My Private pilot Written exam and will be flying in the next few months.
Wish me luck and keep up the good work!
Excellent Excellent channel! Very informative and entertaining for us non-nonpilots and I assume even more so for pilots. great work Steval Knievel
Another good video man, good short approach! Not a bad idea to practice those, keeps you on your toes and helps to combat complacency.
Thanks Steve for the great vlog. It would be cool if you could add more content about ur life and what you do after your flight or layover. Like going to restaurant or at your hotel. Thanks again Steve for the vlogs!
Hey Steve love your vids' I am somewhat amazed thought that you are clearly so safety focused that you'd get on motor bike without a helmet. Mandatory down here in Australia.
The Bonus footage was a cinematic master piece! She had nice legs skateboarding in a tight skirt and heels. God Bless you Stevo-O! You da man bro!
Dat awesomeness!!! of a short approach, love eet!! Working on my license, haven't soloed yet but saw Sonia's....great vids!!!
Great video! I really like the shots from the left glare shield. You do a great job with the audio on your videos, it's always the right volume & nice & clear.
Nice flying there and pretty cool to hear that shoutout.
And lol skateboarding in heels...yeah not the best idea :P
GREAT video Steve - nailed the short final!!!
That approach and landing was a thing of beauty!
You are really good at short turn landings. I'll feel safe riding with you. Great flight. Checking out Sonia's videos.
Just love your flying Steve.! Nice bike too..!!!! :)
Loved the short approach. Thanks for the great videos Steve.
Thanks for the ride steve. Maybe catch you on the rebound. Nice Landing.
Another excellent video! Thanks, Steve!
Thank you . Nice to see Flight chops riding along.
Dude, love your channel. Love the work you put into your videos. You and FlightChops make me want to go for my PPL. Keep up the good work.
love Dirty Bird Sonya!
excuse me Doctor Sonia*
She's certainly the best passenger yet.
Yea, might be quiet but at least she doesn't stay on the phone the whole time like reggie does.
Flightchops everywhere :-) Great video Steveo yet again. Thank you. Between you and Mr Chops i really look forward to your updates all week.
Steve, keep up the good work. The shots are looking fantastic.
Nice fun landing. That was cool. Thanks!
Nice video. I always look forward to your next video!
At 11:00, my student (319) messed up his IFR takeoff clearance. I then heard the tower clearing you to land. I told him he would probably be all over youtube messing that up, I wasn't wrong.
lol, I heard that.. had to go back and listen.. NO DAMMIT! FLY HEADING 090,, on 9L! GEEZUS
Poor student getting a grilling, adrenaline / nerves / inexperience.. at least steveo didn't highlight it,
Love your videos Steveo! That short approach definitely earned the thumbs up!
Haha, nice flight chops sticker. It's like the secret underground of UA-cam flight vids!
Great vid as always.....and always better when Dirty Bird is on board......more Sonia!!!
Hi Steveo....I left you a comment a few weeks ago, not sure if you saw it. I know you get tons of comments. I love your video's...you do a great job with them. Just wanted to thank you for the inspiration to get back into flying, which was based on a comment you made about chasing your dreams. I'm 54 years old and haven't flown private pilot in about 30 years. I committed to getting back into it five months ago...and now am flying a Mooney. Still have things to re-learn but I'm doing it(partially thanks to your video's). Keep them coming, and safe flying!!! Thanks.
+Mooneyflyr (starman629) Glad to hear the good news! Congrats on getting back up in the air!
Bonus Footage! Glad I hung around...great video as always!
You do lead a charmed life Steve!
Great video Steve! Keep up the good work. Your channel has became one of my favourites. Regards
ATC asking about your youtube channel xD If they recognise you from your callsign you must be pretty popular there haha :D keep up the good videos!
Love your Videos Steveo.. I got my Pvt/Inst. licences out of FXE. I miss S. FL so much. Due to Health issues, I can no longer fly, but I live vicariously through you and several other UA-cam Pilots. Keep the Videos coming, can't wait to see your next one.
Loved the landing Steve....I live in Berlin where your bike is build.Just down the road....
As always another great video Steve. Nice to see the flight chops sticker there......
I like the music and Sonia as your passenger .
Wow! That was one skilful landing.
really nice video as usual, really like the flight VLOGS, and you nailed that short approach
Great video as always Steve but you cropped out the "gear down" and when you were about to land, I had to zero in on the 3 green lights to make sure you would be okay. :) Thank you for your videos.
+Steve In Arkansas Thanks for double checking that for me!
awesome handling basically a power off 180 at the end
Awesome flying again. Love the short approach.
Just awesome. Thank you so much.
In the aviation community you are definitely a celebrity Steve0. great vid
really smooth how the intro song faded into the ATIS freq perfectly.
awesome landing bro! when you said short approach I thought the easier one right there. Nice!
Well that beach cruise was freaking awesome.
I'm not a pilot and I really enjoy these videos!!
This is better than hanger flying !! Love it
Wow, it's so cool that your from Miami. I was able to see my house in this video! Also, I was able to recognize allot of the airspace in Hollywood since I make drone videos in that area. So awesome, love your videos!
