Mr Carrie, you are a star. I've only found you in recent months, but I really enjoy your films. I grew up with my dad shooting and started my shooting journey with an old hammer action .410. My uncle was a gamekeeper (now retired) and I spent many happy years beating on the estate shoot in Norfolk with family and friends. I still shoot clays but have unfortunately been out of the game shooting environment for many years due to work commitments. Watching these films brings back a wealth of good memories for me! Thank you for warming the cockles!
Great video Mr. Carrie! I am always very impressed of the beautiful countryside and the art of shooting in your videos! Thank you very much and all the best from 🇦🇹
Brilliant film Dave ,fantastic place to shoot and you as always shot superbly, nice to Des on film again keep them coming love your films and to see you shoot is a pleasure
Really a pleasure to see the earlier videos Dave, I recall this one also. Old friends are best friends. Hope all is well with you and we can look forward to seeing some of this season's action. Thanks and best regards as always, Ed.
BETTER VERSION Hi Dave. Here from Rotterdam. I'm a big follower of yours and your videos. They are absolutely amazing. I have a few questions. I go every year to Spain for partridge. If 10-15 years ago the predominant flight was the partridge following the contours now the predominant flight is the high partridge. I see the great majority of your overheads you convert them into crossers, correct?. In the ones to the right you put the weight on the RIGHT ?, and in the ones on the left on the LEFT , correct?. Regarding the technique you do a lock on + pull away or some swing through? Do you use maintained lead? If you had to explain your tip for high pheasants what would you say? Thank you very much. Best regards.

Good video nice to see those high Pheasants over the valleys. On the last drive, Common bank, you were explaining the cartridges that you were using and you said they were 3 or 4 shot, 42 or 43 grams. Isn't that a bit big? I would have thought 6 shot 30 grams would be better for those pheasants ? Or have I got it all wrong what I was hearing you say? Thanks
I have always wanted to ask, but from what I have seen, you always choose to shoot pull away on those killer high birds. Is this true ? As you say, get onto the bird as soon as you can and clearly for you this works very effectively having that connection. I see you sometimes switch to maintained when shooting amongst trees. Keep the videos coming, as they give thousands who will never get to shoot on some of those legendary Estates the chance to savour the experience ! Regards Rob.
It’s split second decisions on really high stuff - quickly working out the speed and line is vital so I prefer gun on the bird - this helps determine speed and angle quicker 👍
Hes a guy that has a lot of money no one can afforfd it not really a real englishman one of the upper crust seems to be a mnice bguy buy a kid out of london
You have a very green eye full of envy Michael- you never have anything positive to say about game shooting in GB thank god you’re no longer a British citizen I hope they never let you back into this wonderful country of ours that you hate so much!! Have a fuxking awful new year🖕
@@DaveCarrieShooting I love the country Dave and enjoy the gameshooting but I want the poor kids to have a go no I won't return way to much crime for me can't even depend yourself plus after the invasion which all of you didn't stop now it's not England thank God I have the right to depend myself take poor kid out of london
Very interesting I thought Dave was a professional but the English when losing a comment lash out I love old England where farm land was not built on when the roads were uncrowded and people were kind to each other now look at the place please Dave just tell us how much the shooting is very few can afford it all I said it would be nice to see a poor boy from London taken out by you with all your wealth and I'm proud of you for earning it well done have a great year see I don't say nasty things just true stuff
Make the most of watching double gunning which is not possible for the majority of shooters. In the next couple years game shooting will be restricted to how many birds can be released per acre . With a bit of luck it will put pay to big bags which is playing right into the hands of the antis and stop the likes of dave carrie trying to shoot out of range birds. Dave Carrie if you really think about it does nothing for the average shooting man he is a typical show off.
Met the green eyed brigade over the years but you really have it bad Simon, start saving your pennies up and in a few years time you might be able to afford a proper day🤢😉
Love the drives with small sight windows and high flyers. The scenery is breathtaking. Great job Dave!

You got it right 42grm 3s for these monsters - 30grm 6s are not up to it on birds like these
Why not use a 10 gauge? >50g shot is very viable and I bet the recoil wouldn't be as bad as the 42g through the 12 :D
Looks like a beautiful place to hunt!🇺🇸🐻
Fantastic place
Again nice video and nice place.
No the great video Dave it looks like a pretty decent place to hunt
