Thank you! This was so helpful!!! I was scouring the internet trying to get the answer to this, and in just a few minutes you had shown me exactly what I needed! :)
I am starting to really like Excel and never thought this would happen! I think in the past I was just fearful because I did a short course many years ago, and then never had the opportunity to use Excel much in my job, however a lot of EA jobs now require a very good understanding of excel. I just used SUMIF in a table and it worked! You are such a fantastic teacher. THANK YOU AGAIN!!! :)
Jamie i've been going through your videos on teachers tech, n believe me you ,you and the most talented and the best teacher in the whole world for me, your videos are so clear and crisp, so much clarity of information , thank you so very much pls do keep up the good work of uploading videos and education people thanks a million, god speed and god bless you.
Top class videos, i've watched all 5 of the beginners one's and really reminded myself of the basics!. Will be moving onto the pivot table ones now. Great content and sub'd!
Wow I'm short of words I just finished watching from lecture 1-4 and I most say I learned alot and will keep implementing it may God bless you and replenish u
Thank you so much sir,I was supposed to go for an interview and had to have an idea on Excel,I watched this video and went and was able to do my interview.🙏
Thank you so much. That SUMIF function is wonderful for what I do at work and so time saving, Before I'd data sort based on the criteria then add each separately. I'm really grateful to learn this.
I'm taking over a construction business from my father, I worked for him but didn't have the time for all of the management side. Thank you so much for explaining it so easily that I could understand in less than an hour... It's helped the budgeting side of things tremendously
Your way is straightforward and I like it so much. Not related but can you make a video about tips or easy steps to do in order to how clean your computer and make it quicker.
Thanks for all these vids. It took me from the first tutorial until now to realize this, but you look like Michael Keaton. More Birdman than Batman but does anyone else see it? lol
Hi Jamie nice work Just finished watching excel tutorials for beginners and was wondering if there are more higher level excel video tutorial intermediate advanced etc..
Until recently I was indifferent towards learning Excel. But because the last two jobs I worked for required a good Excel background I'm now prioritizing myself towards learning as much as I can regarding Excel (along with Word, Outlook and Power Point).
Thank you for the information, I have just watched all four of your first videos plus this one. I need constant refreshing on how to use Excel because I keep forgetting the simplest things. I work with pretty complex spreadsheets that upload thousands of lines of information that have been already set up by others. I am hoping to just get some insight as to how they set them up and if I can do the functions myself. Listening to what you have reviewed, I realize I know most of the basics, but appreciate your overview. I am not sure whether to use VLookups, Pivot Tables or other formulas to achieve my end result. Currently I have a spreadsheet, where there is a listing of numbers and words that I need to relate to a separate worksheet but these are constantly changing. Which worksheet should I use to make the changes, the main one where the info is updated or the smaller ones that are broken down pieces of information from the main one. Just getting a bit lost, it is probably an easy solution, I am not thinking clearly.
I’ve been watching several of your very helpful videos. I’m wondering if you have a video that shows how to add # of hours, for example 10:09am to 10:00pm, a formula to calculate 12 hours. Thank you
HI, I am encountering a problem after I am using " sign in excel and space or other character is showing me teh $ sign , it is very annoying in formulas, i dont know how to get rid of it !
thank you for all that info also I have inventory sheet always have change how do I know if i change the inventory or not ? or what about date and time in same cell ? also some time the formula give the real time and some time give me time and date and some time give wrong time why all that since im using Mac thank you so much
Great video! How can a write a equation in one tab and then call that equation up in other tabs? I presently copy and paste the equation in one tab which is easy, but in the future many more tabs will be used. As time goes by the equation is getting updated and I don't want to copy it to all of the tab again. Thank you
If I want a a row of names and a row of days that ultimately calculate for a week after whether they can work or not how can I do this. For example happy potter worked Friday and Sunday so I need it to automatically black it out for the week later. But not for any other weeks?
Can you explain how to use =mid() to return the absolute value of the specific place holder. I can get it to work for text and I can get it to work for numbers, but I can't get it to work for both at the same time. Example. SR5BQ2MT. With =mid() it will return all the text but not the number. With =value(mid)), it will return the numbers but not the text. I would like it to do both so as the character string that people enter changes the data will be updated. Thanks
Hello and thank you Sir for these videos, they're of great help. I have a question though and hope you can help. I'm practicing the =if.... using a set of numbers and the number that I'm expecting to show true is showing false which I'd expect for the other numbers that aren't the one used in the formula. Is there a reason for this? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
Hi, I've just discovered your you tube page. I find it very interesting and helpful. Can I ask, do you have any video's to create a spreadsheet for a Forex Trading Journal.
