I haven't watched the Jaws movies yet. They're on my watch list. But a shark that is out for revenge and knows the exact people he's looking for is hilarious lol
Jaws 3 and Jaws the Revenge are shlocky 80's movies to one of the greatest movies of all time, but I still enjoy them. I still have fond memories of seeing Jaws back in the summer of '75 at the Jersey Shore when I was 8 yrs old and seeing all the sequels opening weekend. I actually enjoy Revenge more than 3 because it feels more like a Jaws movie. And I definitely prefer the original U.S. theatrical cut ending (which as you mentioned is now considered the 'alternate ending'). Neither is completely satisfying but I'm not a fan of the shark inexplicably blowing up. Thanks for the reviews.
Thank you so much for this response! Next Friday David and I are going to do an hour and a half on these movies and David mentioned a lot of what you said. Right down to preferring what is now the alternate ending. I enjoyed my time with both movies and am glad I grabbed these 4ks.
I know why the shark going after the family in revenge it’s mention in the novelization. They were cursed because they pissed off a person with friends on the other side. It was a vodo curse they pissed of some vodo witch doctor guy. Not sure what they did to do that.

Jaws 4 is my favorite sequel, I know it's a piece of shit but I love how bad the shark looks and how stupid of a plot it has, I mean who doesn't love a psychic shark chasing a depressed widow. Plus I genuinely think the opening death is one of the best in the franchise I just loved it so much.
That opening death was great and it felt exactly like how a cold wintery night in the north east feels. It might be a bad movie but I didn’t hate my time with it and will rewatch it again for sure!
You convinced me to buy Jaws III in 4K but I'm hanging on to Jaws the Revenge in 1080p BluRay 🤣 I saw Jaws III in 3D in theatres back in the day so I guess a better copy is in order!
lol that’s honestly the best route to go. If I had the previous blu rays I would only get 3 and not get 4. 3 is at least still fun lol. I wonder what you would think of it now compared to 83? lol
The use of AI here scares me because I do think companies will be employing it more and more if they can get away with it. Imagine if they implement it with actual classic movies like Ben-Hur or The Godfather and entire generations thinking that those horrible, goblin-like faces are what the movies were supposed to look like.
That’s what i’m very afraid of too. In this situation it’s tough to judge because the blu ray was so bad that’s it’s a huge improvement but the path to get there scares me. I guess I would rather it not exist but we have to judge it for what it is. It’s a tricky situation.

There was no "AI" those problems were there in 2014 because the movie just looks like shit... It was never meant to be seen in 4k, upscaling it to 4k makes the 3D look even worse and makes the problems stand out even more....People that keep crying about AI because Camron did it for Aliens should go watch the blu-ray release because those "horrible, goblin like faces" LMFAO yeah they're all in the last blu-ray. Its not AI FFS. Some movies were just not meant to be seen in 4k.
No I meant Psychic, That’s why it makes no sense. This is a different Shark from Both Jaws 1 and 2 so there would be no reason for it to even know who the Brody’s are. Yet it’s hunting them down for “revenge”. Hence the Psychic connection. That’s the actual plot to the movie. Not something I made up lol.
I watched Jaws 3 last night and noticed an audio issue (maybe)…..the Dolby Atmos track has really low vocal track. Anyone else notice or do I have a defect?
I didn’t think it was a great track but it seemed to be mixed pretty well as far as the dialogue. I did think overall though it didn’t lack a lot of punch so I had the whole track turned up higher then normal.
Well Mate this whole ai isn't good but it might us well try to use if the original negative is bad and possibly Jaws 3 was terrible I mema look at the bluray it's terrible. But still the color and picture quality is decent enough. Also dang I was hoping the wheel would land on moi dang mate. Well it was technically between in a way right mate???? 😅 heh he

I have the Jaws 3 pack on blu...I've never seen them. I'll have to watch before I make that 4k dip, I think. The steelbooks are nice, though.
They are really nice! If I didn’t have all slip covers already I would have gotten those. I like how they kept the same design for all of them!
