You got really lucky here, my first dungeon was way more hard, filled with glowing beetles who are stronger then normal ones. I had to pause mid video to avoid spoilers since i still have to manage to complete it (tried the dungeon only two times so far so i am not going to give up so soon).

And yes, this game is a lot of fun for me as well. So many good ideas from so many good games - I really hope this developer does make more games and let's me know about it. Cause I'm seriously in love with this style ^^

Reminds me of ADOM and perhaps DCSS, although DCSS Zangband Nethack are more traditional roguelikes

I definitely feel most reminded to ADOM, with all the open world areas fixed and the dungeons themselves randomized to a certain degree. This game has picked up from many classics, modern and oldies alike.
Poise is a stat we know from the Soulslike genre for example.
