- This video will highlight the harshness and severity of the methodology of Takfeer of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab.
The Super Salafees have over-exaggerated the knowledge of the Shaykh, and this video will show you how he used a weak report in his book of creed as evidence amongst other things.
We have to stress Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab is not free from critic, as Imam Malik said:
قال مالك
كل يؤخذ من قوله ويرد إلا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Imam Malik said:
“Everyone's statement can be taken or rejected except the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ"

Whenever I see MIAW mentioned as imam mujadded I can't but remind everyone he was cast aside by Athari and generally sunni imams of the time .There were far more acclaimed imams at the time some that we never saw the likes till this day.
Example of Hanbali imams:
Imam Saffarini( need not introduce) - Had a letter refuting the fiqh methodology of najdi dawah and called for ta'zeer against the dawah leader even if he didnt mention MIAW by name
Ibn Afaleq(Biggest Fiqh sanad of his time) - Wrote a book attacking MIAW's bashing of takleed, and refuting the understanding of MIAW in Hanbali usool al fiqh
Abdallah AlTamimi(Harimla's imam) - Wrote a book rejecting the premise of all takfeer MIAW came with so MIAW made takfeer of him and destroyed his lands.
Ibn Fayrooz (Hanbali most prominent Imam of MIAW's time) - Wrote 2 books 1 for the people trying to explain the corruption of MIAW ideas to laymen and another as scholarly refutation . They attempted to murder him while running from his hometown Al Ihsa' to Iraq
Hasan Al Shatti (Hanbali imam of Levant) - MIAW wrote him to accept his dawah but the imam disavowed and likened his ways of forcing dawah and using Mushrikeen ayats for muslims to khawarij
And many others , these were the reference Imams of the time رحمة الله عليهم
A part of the poem wrote by Imam Ibn Fayrooz:
سلام فراق لا سلام تحية
على ساكني نجد وأرض اليمامة
لقد زعموا أهل الشقاء بأنهم
على دين حق واصب واستقامة
وقالوا سواهم كل من كان كافرا
لقد كذبوا والله هم في ضلالة
وقد حاولوا التعطيل من كل مذهب
ولفقوا دينا بدعة أي بدعة

@Adem He was a true athari in creed, Shafi'i in Fiqh and Nakchabandi in Tareeqa.
But some Wahhabis consider him one of them because he praised Ibn Taymiyya

@Velvet Ska No one disagrees on that . The fact that MIAW made istigatha=Ibada unconditionally is the biggest bid'aa . Even Ibn Taymiyya had conditions for istigatha to be ibada were the Hanbali mu'tamad is haram for ' sad al tharee'a' to prevent jahels from developing it into ibada.
@Velvet Ska 'outho billah . No one said said istighatha is like jahiliyya paganism in motlaq until MIAW did . 'sad al tharee'a ' doesn't mean the act itself is shirk rather that jahils don't understand the difference so it's haram for them it's better not to mix.
I folow Athari Hanbali creed and fiqh , and the madhab has many opinions none like MIAW.
The mu'tamad Tafseel :
1-Asking them directly to fulfill their needs believing everything is' bi 'ithnillah' through their karama: that's mathmoom = haram or makrooh.
2-Asking dead awliya' to ask allah for them : considered similar to tawassul most are for ja'ez but some are for makrooh.
3- Asking them because they're closer to them than allah or believing awliya' own their needs , or that only through them it can be done: This is shirk by ijma'
If you think people invoking like ' ya mohammed' are making tawakkul on prophet mohammed that's a poor understanding of arabic since sahaba used terms like that 'اأُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ' = 'i make bay'a but forgive my sins' in different contexts.
It was not literal rather asking prophet for a way that his sins are forgiven .
Anyway , even if you don't like the opinions of scholars you got to respect the khilaf or call the athari scholars who made istighatha mushrik murtad and i know what's better . Take care Akhi

the days when shaikh wrote this book the situation was same ، so he wrote the book at his early age refuting the shirk according to situation... he was studying at that time under shaikh ubadulaa al Sindhi ... who nurtured him for tawheed ...
So be careful when you make fun or salander anyone ، The errors are made by anyone ، so he made error by taking weak hadiths & even the mawzooat، coz at that time the hadith science was given up & he has not got anyones suggestion about hadith....

Why are they using weak narrations in a book of Aqeedah?
So he can slander a Prophet (peace be upon him) and also use it to justify takfir (labelling Muslims kafir). And then use that as a pretext to war the Muslims, subjugate them, take their females as secl slaves or demand jizya. The blood of a muslim is sacred, so if he attacked them as Muslims he would get smacked, and needed to make them non Muslims (to make their blood halal).

The attar should be taken with a pinch of salt, it is definitely a fabrication/slander against a Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet's (peace be upon him) grandfather was referred to as Abdul Muttalib, and if it was shirkh sayyid al Khalq (peace be upon him) would've pointed it out clearly and wouldn't identify himself as the son (meaning descendant) of Abdul Muttalib.

Akhi, while I appreciate most of your content, I felt your criticism of MAW was somewhat unfair. Basically, you criticise him for using a weak hadith. Would you be willing to apply the same criticism to everyone else who used, or quoted the hadith in their works?
@@beinghuman185 The view of the majority of the scholars is that this ayah applies to Adam a.s. However, they believed that this was only shirk in the sense of language, and not actual shirk. Maybe this is what he is referring to.

Bukhari - Volume 2, book 23, number 428: Narrated 'Uqba bin 'Amir: One day the Prophet went out and offered the funeral prayers of the martyrs of Uhud and then went up the pulpit and said, "I will pave the way for you as your predecessor and will be a witness on you. By Allah! I see my Fount (Kauthar) just now and I have been given the keys of all the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth). By Allah! I am not afraid that you will worship others along with Allah after my death, but I am afraid that you will fight with one another for the worldly things."

You attack Athari da'wah movements be it the Salafi-movement, Najdi-Salafi movement or others. Believe me, if you are stating all this stuff about Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdil-Wahhab. You'll do takfir (if you continue with your current standards of un-academic critique) of Muhaddith Shah Waliullah al-Dihlawi and Mujadid Alf Thani Ahmad Sirhindi. If you dare, please bring out the statements of these two renowned scholars! I would like to see how you would defend their statements!
I'm sure that you will never critique Muhaddith Shah Waliullah al-Dihlawi and Mujadid Alf Thani, you target mostly Athari scholars and their mistakes! Shaykh Ahmad Rida Khan was the greatest takfiri of his era, but I don't see one video against him from you? There are tons of other problems the Muslims face from really dangerous sects and cults like extreme Madhhabism, Sufism, Modernism, Progressivism but you only target Athari scholars and their mistakes for the most part. Just listen to the Ahl al-Hadith 'ulama like Shaykh Muhammad Uzair Shams, Shaykh Jalaluddin Qasimi, Shaykh Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Zubair et cetera whom have been bomblasting the ghulaat amongst the Salafis. Shaykh Muhammad Uzair goes to the extent of saying that "Saudi Arabia doesn't understand Ibn Taymiyyah at all" - he even critiques those Ahl al-Hadith who've been influenced by "Salafi hadhrat" and think that merely passing out of Jamiyyah Islamiyyah Madinah al-Munawwarah makes them a da'i and they can do da'wah anywhere and everywhere without doing research or studies (of other religions, philosophies et cetera).
Shaykh Jalaluddin Qasimi states that because Shaykh al-Fawzan doesn't have a grip in Ilm al-Kalam and this is clear from Al-Fawzan's commentary on Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah's works (i.e., Al-Fawzan's commentaries are deficient). Just watch the channel (see community tab or his facebook apge) of Shaykh Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Zubair how he is destroying these ghulat and even the videos he is making.
Bro Hajji isn't a Salafi and cannot "fix" Salafis. He should focus on his Hanafi-Ashari-Maturidi brothers as he is Hanafi. Similarly, if the Ahl al-Hadith even try to correct Ahnaf its people like Hajji who cry foul and label Ahl al-Hadith as "divisive"! Hajji cannot dare to mention the blunders of Muhaddith Waliullah al-Dihlawi and Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi - if he even reads our their works on Sufism all of his subscribers will leave him! Hajji is hypocritical - this is a sad reality.
