REHAB - Deep digital flexor tendon tear on hock. 4th week after shoe reset

Rocky is doing really well. He gets ponied 3 times a week at a walk. In this video I included his 3 month re-evaluation with Dr. Massie on Thursday last week. Rocky has a deep digital flexor tendon tear on his hock. This is a old recurring injury. Jeremy Vanschoonhoven has made shoes for this horse to take the stress off his hock so we can rehab to make him stronger. According to Dr Massie, looking at the ultrasound, his healing process is about 80 percent. He suggests we continue to walk him at this point and that is what we will do.
Rehab is a process and it is nice to have communication with everyone involved. These videos have helped 3 horses get proper diagnosis with mentioning the use of ultrasound with x-rays.👍🏇❤️
