Tis the season to start turning those leads into customers! I continue to be impressed with MailerLite's ease of use compared to Mailchimp. If you are interested in learning more about MailerLite, click here - refer.mailerlite.com/xMrEUg10KGB0
I created a landing page to collect emails, but the emails aren't being saved to the group I set up. I've gotten emails of people filling them out. What would cause this
Hi Connie! Thanks for your question. My first thought is that you may have double opt-in turned on for the landing page which means unless a contact confirms their subscription they will not be added to your subscriber list or group. If you don't have double opt-in on, and people are subscribing via the landing page but not being added to the group, and you've confirmed that the group is selected in the landing page settings, then I would reach out to MailerLite support. Other things to test - is this occurring with other landing page/group combos? If you test the landing page are you added to the group?
Hey Larry, a quick question: I'm a personal trainer and id like to use 3/4/5 day workout splits a a lead magnet. How would you structure this? Should I create a simple website with the 3 section which send you to 3 separate landing pages? Thanks in advance
Howdy Francesco! Thanks for the question. I would create 3 subscriber groups (3 day, 4 day, 5 day) ,create a landing page and add those 3 groups, and in the options/settings of the signup form, I would display the groups so that the subscriber can select a group. Then I would have automation/email sequence setup for each of the workout day options. The only slightly negative to this setup is that a subscriber can select any or all of the group options. If you have any more questions, let me know. Happy to help!
@@LarrySnow I have another question Larry: I tried to use another method. I wanted to create 3 pop-up forms and on the landing page have 3 sections for each training split, with a download now button. The download button should then redirect you to the pop up forms. On preview however it does not happen... Nothing happens when I click the button.
You'll need to test with the URL of the published landing page - it won't work in Preview mode. Also, make sure the popup forms are published and that time delay is set to 1 second on when it shows on the landing page. Just a FYI - the popup form isn't going to "redirect" a user, it will just display on top of the landing page.
